I am happy as a lake at MorningStar of Observatory Park. Everything is great and the price is comparable to others in the area. The building is new and very nice. Staff is amazing-friendly, solicitas, capable and generally Johny on the spot. Head and shoulders above what I experienced in two other similar places.

As much as I like them and the facility I would say.... If they r taking care of the meds, make sure to always watch and check the statements; my parents bathroom was not cleaned nearly good enough; keep in mind to "order" a person to help feed/hydrate them; be as present as possible so the workers know that your loved one(s) will not get overlooked and that if that does happen, it is addressed and chances will be lessened to happen again; and with any place you decide on, always keep as close of an eye on your loved one(s) as possible. With any issue that I had, I went directly to the head of the floor. I made myself known with the staff and had a very good relationship with the head of the memory care floor. That way she always knew who I was calling about when I called. Even with what I wrote above, I am glad that Morningstar Wheat Ridge is the facility we picked for my parents last 9ish months of their lives. I forgot to expand on the "ordering" a person to help loved one feed/hydrate.....if your loves one(s) are not able to feed themselves well enough or can't feed themselves, the facility can arrange for a person to be with your person to help feed and hydrate them. This is at an extra cost if your person is not in Hospice.

We like all the events and outings that keep her busy! Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

This place is so beautiful, and an awesome place. Unfortunately my mother is not well enough to take advantage of the activities… Food is great too. Hopefully we will get to take advantage of more things over time.

All the staff are excellent. They treat all the residents like their own family. They watch over us like a mom & dad would if you need a friend to talk to. They are there. We have a cairn terrier who lives with us. When I walk her she is talked to and patted. We love it here!!!

Truewood by Merrill, Henderson is pricey when it comes to the value for cost but what we like the most about this community is the staff and we would recommend Truewood to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The staff is always friendly. I know it's hard to care for the elderly and specially if they have issues one way or another and they do a good job here. If you have concerns you can talk to them and they are willing to work on what ever needs to be done.

They have all been wonderful. The day dad arrived everyone we walked by said hello and welcomed him by name! They have all been very attentive, helpful and genuinely seem to care about making him feel welcome and important.

My parents find MorningStar Senior Living at Silver Lake provides a community atmosphere rather than apartment living with assistance. The staff and all employees are very accommodating and pleasant to interact with. Having a receptionist in the lobby, allows residence and visitors access to the facility 7x24. MorningStar hosts live music entertainment each week with a happy hour, a movie every night, birthday celebration one a month, and other scheduled activities. The dining is open for residence to dine on their own time. The lunch and dinner specials are at set times, and seating is done by a host, so residence have the opportunity to dine and meet new people. My father found out another resident went to the same school and the same graduating class, he had attended in Philadelphia. This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the hosted dining. It's a great place, and my parents are definitely enjoying themselves, regardless of their physical and mental abilities.

My mother was very well cared for. The staff were friendly, caring, and attentive. The facility was near and clean, and the activities were uplifting.

Very professional staff. EVERYONE is SO NICE & WILLING to help in any way possible. Nice place STAFF is AWESOME!

My mom is currently a resident at MorningStar at River Oaks and the experience has been good so far. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The food is top tier. We have regular meals with my mom in their dining room. I would strongly recommend MorningStar at River Oaks.

I have absolutely No words to explain how amazing this facility is!, From the offered amenities to the individual personal care and touches. recieves from the Staff and employees. I can rest easy at night knowing she is definitely being treated like family

This establishment truly treats the residents down to the visitors as family! There has never been a day where I have left from visiting my mother that I have not been acknowledge by any staff with such Genuine Conversation even down to the awesome Kitchen, staff and chef.

They are all to expensive, but what our family likes the most about MorningStar is the friendliness and all of their activities. My Mom has Alzheimer's and is in the memory care part but the assisted living and independent living parts have sooo many activities.

My loved one was previously a resident at Moravian Hall Square and the experience at this facility was great. They were well staffed, very clean, friendly and everything in the building worked and if something broke, they fixed it right away. They treated my loved one with respect. I am very sorry that my loved one didn't go directly to Moravian Hall Square from rehab, rather than the 6 miserable months that she spent at her previous facility before moving to Moravian Hall Square.

I took my mother out of another facility in the area, and discovered Morningstar almost by accident. I am glad that I found them. She is happy, healthy, and cared for, which is of great comfort to me. It is a welcoming and supportive place. All of my questions get answered promptly and they keep me informed. It's hard because I live in another state, so their support is very important.

We could not have found a better place for mom. I felt comfortable with her moving there from the first phone calls and virtual tour. My visit a few days later confirmed my feelings. Mom is meeting people and always has something to say about her days, with no complaints! She still talks like this is temporary and that she will be well enough to go back home someday but that conversation is happening less and less. She has actually pushed that thought out several months. With all of us living out of state it puts my mind at ease with her being at Legacy House. My hope is that she continues to find things she loves and decides to stay.

Overall, I've been pleased with Truewood by Merrill Henderson. When I moved here, I used a mover recommended by Truewood and they did a great job and were very reasonable. The staff here is great. Very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a good job and they let me know when they're coming. The food is okay and sometimes it's even great. The servers are very good and they seem to know everyone's name. The facility is on the old side, but they maintain it well. I would definitely recommend this place.
