Merrill Gardens

The place is great. The people there were very friendly and they were very helpful with my mom but now my mom needs more care. She needs something more hands on. She was on the fourth floor in assisted living so that wasn't going to work any more and she doesn't have the income to pay what they were going to charge her for more care.

It's a phenomenal place. It's a real large community with two complete buildings. They have a memory care facility on site and some stand alone apartments called bungalows for independent living. I just though my dad would get lost trying to find the second building, it was that spread out. I've know people who have had parents there and they've liked it but if everybody likes the same thing it would get awfully crowded.

It was fine. It was much larger than another place and after evaluating mom they decided they probably wouldn't be the best place for her because of the care she needed. I thought it was a very nice place.

I enjoyed the tour. The community is well managed. The admission staff was excellent. The memory care community was spacious. One conern that I have is that the facility is under new management. Does this mean an increase in costs.

We are very satisfied with this community. The staff is friendly but there is one or two that are not as friendly like everywhere else. They are doing a good job for what they have. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

I've only been here a short time. It's very clean, I'm satisfied with that and they are friendly - there are no problems there. It's not cheap but I guess, for what I'm getting, in this economy, it's probably the right thing. The activities are overwhelming. Mostly I don't do them because there are a lot of card games and things like that and I've never really been interested in that. I do play bridge with the group and I usually pay attention to what the movies are but I don't go. The activities are popular with a lot of people but they're not things that I've ever been interested in.

Our loved one really loves it here. The food is just excellent, we ate the Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes that was great and another time we had chicken with mashed potatoes that was equally as good. The friendliness of the management group really drew us in and the way they were so accommodating really made them the community of our choice. Not only would we recommend them we already have.

Met with Bob - Mom liked him a lot. This is not his usual property. Area is beautiful and the units are good sized. Inexpensive carpet, room style. Seems lively and fun. Maybe too far? Very full list of activities. Dining room is spacious and nice view of outside hills/mountains.

Bridgecreek is a very nice facility. It is very open, bright and airy feeling, with lovely grounds. The personal living spaces seemed the nicest in size as all of the facilities I have looked at. The price seemed the most reasonable and possibly even somewhat negotiable according to one of the managers I spoke with. This facility seemed to have the fewest options as far as more intense medical care. They have in-house care givers that can come in for an added fee but they do not have the memory care services like Regency.

Mom has had numerous visits to this home during work visits. Likes the joint.

Beautiful, all new! Two bedrooms are nice size, full kitchen...nicely laid out, will work well for mom. Bathrooms have rollin showers! Overall, really laid out nicely for wheelchairs.

Lovely facility. The cost of the living space is higher plus the cost of a spouse is higher. Enjoyed our visit.

I love the ambiance of this place.

Very modern and urban. Tons of things to get out and do. Much is walking distance. Apartments modern, good shared spaces. This is a contender.

Very nice. Good size apt. No cell phone signal. Salad bar good but rest of lunch was so-so.

Had a tour with them and it was wonderful. I enjoyed the staff and the meal.
