The facilities are gorgeous, on the waterfront, ocean views from dining room, nice apartments. The staff was very nice and caring. I did feel they oversold us on medical capabilities when we looking. Once we got to contract stage, they discussed conditions which they could not accommodate and it was clear that this would not do until end of life. Specifically, my mother was on oxygen but also some dementia. When they were looking to sign us up it was no problem, once there they indicated it was a stretch. It took a fair amount of back and forth to get care plan in place. For instance if you request shower assistance, you need to separately request shampooing hair. Also some concerns about implementation of care plan in regards to hygiene. Although supervisors were available and responsive. The activity selection was only OK. Nightly movies were unusual selection for that demographic. Has potential for upscale solution for seniors, but at this point best suited for those with family near by.

The people were lovely and informative. The only reason for the 4 is the darker halls and outdated kitchens/bathrooms in the apartments from a 60 yr. olds point of view. My mother, 84, liked everything just fine.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far we are pleased with how things are going for her. The staff seem to be accommodating her needs and I am comfortable with the care she is receiving. She seems to be fitting in very well with the other residents and is enjoying a few of the activities they have to offer. I like that she has a healthy appetite and says how good the meals are that the chef prepares them throughout the day. Overall it has been the perfect fit and we are all very happy.

The staff take good care of you. They are friendly and encouraging. The food is good and they keep the community clean. They offer a lot of daily activities. I would recommend taking a look to see if this community would work for you.

I have no complaints of how things went for my mother and I during our tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. I liked the open floor plan they had as well as other great amenities for the residents. It was just not the right fit for her in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone interested.

We toured a few different communities before settling on this one. It is smaller in size compared to the other ones that we looked at which I think is a much better fit for my mom. Mom wanted a one bedroom unit which they had available but what was good is that it was in the main building not off in another location on the grounds. The grounds are well maintained as well as the inside. Mom gets housekeeping once a week but if there is an issue they come in and take care of it. The staff is courteous and patient and understanding. I've eaten here several times and the food is wonderful. The staff keeps in good communication with me and if there is a problem or an issue they work with me to find a solution that keeps everyone happy.

The facility is under a $17MM renovation. If you can see past the dust and debris, it is a beautiful place.

My loved one is having a hard time adjusting to her move to this community, but I do feel this is really nice community overall. I love the staff, they have great to work with. They provide nice meals, and have good activities available for the residents. Hopefully with some more time she will get involved in the community. This is a fine community. and I would recommend it.

On the tour we saw it was an assisted living place. We really liked it but we thought my mom would not have qualified to live here. She needed more assistance for her dementia. We felt it was not going to work out and it didn't seem like a fit.

Tour went very well. We and [removed] were very happy with what we saw. [removed] and her staff were very impressive. [removed]'s view of assisted living changed? dramatically after the tour.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I would love a few more salads on the menu, and home made dishes and fruits of the season. The activity lady is great. She does everything and keeps us from being bored and helping us to know on another better. New plans for each day. Maybe someone can help her, she does so much, services always can improve. It's clean and bright with decorations here. Nurses [are] friendly

When I toured Claremont Place, I also thought it was a nice and clean community. The people there were very kind and informative. It was just not what we were looking for.

Beautiful Community. Too expensive for my budget.

Lane Park is clean. The rooms are arranged where it's convenient for the patients & visitors. And comfortable to play cards, etc. I have no complaints

I fell in love when I walked through the community. I said this is the place for my mom. The people are fantastic when meeting them. At this point, it has been a very good experience for my mom. She loves the community. I like how they make good meals, plan enjoyable activities during the day, and I see how much the staff care for the residents. It is definitely always clean too. I appreciate A Place For Mom for helping me, I recommend them to everyone who are in need.

Of the facilities I have visited, this is the most favorable at this time. [Removed] was point on, the location is great for me, the grounds and facility were clean, staff nice and the residents we saw were very happy. We left feeling like we know the ins and outs and were very satisfied.

My dad is at the Peninsula. I like how everyone on the staff knows the names of the residents. My dad loves the place. He feels at home. I appreciate the level of care from everyone at The Peninsula. It's like living in a 4 star hotel. Keep up the good work!

I like the care at this community. The staff is friendly. I wish that they would communicate with me on her progress. My mom really does like the meals. A clean community and they do offer a lot of good activities to help her stay involved. I would recommend this community to other families for care.
