What we like most about the Landings of Sidney is the staff team, they really are a good bunch. Our family really likes them and our loved one who is a resident there really likes them. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the Landings of Sidney to other families.

Assisted Living at The Meadowlands is a very nice place overall, although in our family's experience there, the nurses seem to take a while to answer calls.

It's the nurses, housecleaning, dining, and other staff that make Chapel Hill a great fit for my mother. Staff are excellent. But the administrative side needs to increase their van driver recruitment/retention efforts because missed medical appointments due to driver unavailability is problematic and should be avoided at all costs.

Our Mom is a resident at The Country House in Westchester. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and pleasant. They have excellent activities for seniors. My mother enjoys the food choices and has made friends with the residents. We would highly recommend this facility to family and friends.

We really like Chapel Hill Senior Living a lot. We really appreciate the friendly staff and residents there as well as the overall cleanliness. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

We are happy with our choice. Each of the residents, is given a menu for the week in their apartment, and in the dining room. It's helpful. Turn over at the management level is becoming concerning. Clinical staff is still great! Everyone is friendly and approachable. [name removed], the current director, held the first 'family forum' which was very nice. She didn't shy away from any question. It was very nice to have an open conversation regarding good and not so good things.

The staff really wants to get to know my mom to help them help her feel more comfortable. The Memory care unit feels very homey and the staff really care. Mom shares a room. It is split by a partial wall and the size is comfortable for her and her things.

The care givers were excellent and very good with my mom. The facility and amenities are excellent. The food was very good, and activities appeared to be fun and appropriate. I say appeared because my mother didn't participate. I would recommend to others.

I toured Cypress Place and it was a good tour. The staff and overall friendliness was very good. The cleanliness was very good, also. Ultimately, we decided on another facility in the area.

We have had a good experience with The Meridian at Brandon for our loved one. We are pleased with all the services they offer for our loved one. The staff communication is very good when the family has questions or concerns about our loved one and the staff are responsive. The Meridian serves three meals a day for the residents. There are multiple options for meals, and they offer all day dining options.

I think it's a nice place overall. I like the activities that they have - concerts, etc. Some of the activities have an extra fee, but I think it's worth it overall.

Our family had an in person tour and the community itself seemed really ice and it was a good second choice. However the room that was available for our loved one was at the very end of the corridor and it just seemed dark to us and not as bright and welcoming.

I did rate quality of care a 4, and wanted to add that overall quality of care is excellent, just not always as consistent from day to day as it could be.

If your parent has more of their faculties, I think this could be a great place. It is full of activities and vibrancy. It's a very social environment. But if your parent is in the advanced stages of dementia like mine was, I'm not sure this is the place for them. I think my father could have been redirected in better ways, and I'm not sure their staff was prepared for or capable of handling him in the best way. There were also some issues with billing, and we were only there for a month. We were overbilled, and it took quite a while to get a refund.

It looked nice and was great. It was more expensive but had more space. It was clean, and the staff was friendly.

The facility is beautiful and they have really good medical staff. The sales ladies especially are amazing. The only problems is they keep having issues with getting medications ordered and they are short on staff. Some times the food is amazing, and sometimes it is not good at all. The kitchen manager is great and they just hired a new chef, so I think it will get better. It is a new facility and they are working on these issues, I think there will improvements made soon.

I toured this facility and wasn't crazy about the Memory Care Unit. The Memory Care unit was very sad looking. People were in wheelchairs, slumped over. But the facility was very pretty and the Assisted Living side tour was nice.

Claremont Place is a very nice and clean community that is very well maintained and for what we pay our loved one has a lot of space. The staff members seem to be very nice. However just due to our loved ones physical impairments and skill set the activities are not adequate for him since they are mostly visual activities. We also wish our loved one received more physical exercises - they have him down as a flight risk and so to keep him from falling he does not get much physical exercise but we wish they would try different things to get him physical exercise while still keeping him safe .

I think that MerryWood on Park It is a great place. They take great care of my loved one. They are so empowering to the residents. It has been a great experience for my loved one. My loved on likes meeting meeting people and becoming friends. That is one of the things we liked about MerryWood on Park. My loved one is really engaged in the activities and there are a lot of them. She attends the parties and events that are held there at the facility. The majority of the time the meals are great, but there have been times when they do a buffet and my loved one does not care for the buffet style meal.

The Peninsula is a smaller facility and is not as open as some of the larger places we looked at. The staff were all very nice and pleasant to work with and the facility itself was clean. We just felt this was not the best fit for our loved one and her specific needs.
