The Peninsula Memory Care Unit has been nothing short of amazing! The staff has welcomed my mother and taken care of her as if she was their own. The Director, [name removed], has shown so much care and understanding to my families concerns and needs. We appreciate her and all the staff in the memory care unit.

Staff is very kind and compassionate food variety good and service good. Seem short staffed at times but otherwise good.

The ED is consistent and always helpful, responsive. The staff is friendly and a few who have been there awhile are personable with residents. There is turnover with the head nurse (we have seen 2 maybe 3 in the 1.5 yrs).

We found a small facility for mom. It seems to be a good fit for her and our family. Everyone is friendly and I feel they genuinely care about the residents and want to provide support to them and their family members.

Staff was informed and tone of the climate was welcoming. Residents seemed genuinely pleased with living there. [name removed] is professional, friendly, and an excellent representation of the Peninsula brand.

People are great! Nicer finishes, smelled pretty good, rooms were recently refinished. The staff calls me daily for a phone call with my mother face to face on the portal which is really awesome!

We realize that activities can't always meet the needs of all the residents and they must be tailored to those who are currently in living in the facility. Personalities also play a part. The room sizes are great. Larger than many of the facilities we visited, especially the studios. The amenities are basic, but then at 92 my mom doesn't need a whole lot.

I was very welcomed when arrived.

The residents want to welcome new people. There are plenty of activities and little events. Staff changes a lot, but they all seem to be friendly and helpful. Other staff, like med distributors and cleaning people are tough to communicate with because of the language barrier. Overnight staff is lacking. The food is good, my parents got to know the kitchen staff and chef and say they're all sweet. It really should be cleaner in the common areas.

Non complaint

The facility is beautiful. Individual living space spacious. Husband was in studio and had plenty of space. Maintenance accommodated his need for a bidet and quickly got the seat version installed. Housekeeping quickly learned his name and talked to him. Chef made him his custom request. He would have preferred some variation in music performance. Too many of the same people. A coffee house or NYC jazz trio every couple of weeks would have been a nice change. He had a major delusional episode which required hospitalization and concern the facility could not adequately care for him so I had to move him. None of the other places came close to the Meridian.

Very good assisted living center. Needs more floor help on each shift. Two people for 54 residents is not enough. Administration should be in the building everyday for one time each day to organize workers.

Food (bread sandwich) made ahead and not covered. DRY! Too small portions. Cost for guest is too much they get some small amount residents get. No exercise room. Residents not knowing what they are getting for food. Names do not tell what item is.

Staff is very attentive to residents individual needs, they are patient and caring. Staff check in on the residents and encourage them to participate in the activities they offer. HB staff always has time to listen to family members.

Worthington Manor has all that we had on our check list for an assisted living community. Beautiful surroundings inside and out, very active community with many activities each day, live entertainment at least once a week, fully equipped gym with physical therapy on site and most importantly a very caring and supportive management staff and care partners.

The staff does a great job. A comfortable place to live. The cleaning staff are very friendly and good. The food could be better. Need someone to care for outside grounds. Nobody seems to care except the residents!

After moving in which was a bit disorganized things improved. Anything that is needed is generally gotten. Meal have been quite good enjoy all of the special meals as well. Sometimes all laundry does not get returned started marking.

My mom lives here and enjoys the community. The staff knows her and checks on her regularly. There are times when there are not enough staff available but for the most part people are aware. When Mom is sick the staff are extra attentive.

Brookstone is a good place for elderly that don't need excess nursing care. They should have a generator. Especially for those on Oz at night especially.
