We have to assume the meals are good our loved one never complained about the meal service. Our first impression right away was with the personality of the staff members. They went out of their way for us in regard to our loved one. They were such a huge help, we were very happy and we wold suggest others looking into Landings.

We loved MerryWood on Park. The tour was great and the facility itself was beautiful. The apartments were not set up well and there was not much storage space.

My Dad, Vermont's oldest WWII veteran, moved to Harbor Village Senior Communities in 2009 (f/n/a Pillsbury Senior Living), shortly after my Mom passed. As an outgoing and friendly person, he soon settled into meeting the other residents and embraced many of the interesting and stimulating activities offered. Soon, I was needing to schedule our visits around HIS schedule! That's when we knew he would be OK in this next chapter of his life. Dad has seen many changes at his residence since he moved in. Dad takes things in stride, understanding the challenges that management and staff alike have met over the years. We came from a place that was absolutely horrible. This place gets top marks all around in comparison. The care services are great. They provide proper care. The staff are wonderful and very personable. They're very forthcoming with information on how my mother is doing, and I really appreciate that. The facility is very clean and bright. It's open and updated, and it's easy to find where you need to go. The food looks really good too.

Gentry Park is a very nice facility, we really liked the setting. It is quiet and not a lot is around there. The staff were super helpful but it was just too expensive for us.

We really liked The Country House a lot. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful and the facility itself was very nice. It was out second choice, the only reason we decided against it was the location was a bit far for us.

[name removed] was wonderufl-kind, professional, and very helpful. The staff that helped my dad while here were a blessing and wonderful. God provides.

The Peninsula has become the help that we needed. Friendly staff, Beautiful facility, Multiple Living rooms and Meeting places, Great group activities, Cafe style Dining are Personal Living area are all a bonus for our Loved one and Family. Thank You......

The population of the community is kept separate from independent living and assisted living and memory care. The food is fresh and not processed. The staff are great and I'm comfortable with my loved one being here. The activities are being rolled back a bit due to the pandemic. There wasn't a membership fee to enter the community. The monthly fee was just right for us and where I expected it to be.

[name removed] gave us an amazing tour. This place looks great. Im looking forward to spending some time here. All the events sound very fun. The menu looks yummy too.

I first became aware of Chevy Chase House 6 years ago when my mother, [name removed], moved there. In the last years of her life, she was able to pursue an Art career she had done for over seventy years. The staff met her every need with love, compassion, and kindness. I would highly recommend Chevy Chase House to anyone who is looking for a wonderful for their loved one. Thank you, [name removed]

Very pleasant and informative to speak with. I am still looking, as it is a bit further and cost a little higher than in the county we live in.

We needed assistance caring for our elderly friend, who was experiencing difficulties coping with everyday activities on her own including memory issues. The Peninsula has provided an excellent program for giving her assistance with daily grooming, providing meals in a community setting, dispensing medications, following up with doctors visits, entertainment and much more. She told me she feels "like she is living in a resort". The management team at the Peninsula including [name removed] the Marketing Director, [name removed] ADM and [name removed] Resident Care Director along with her entire staff of nurses and aids are caring, very competent and dedicated to the wellbeing of their residents.

We chose The Peninsula because it was recommended to us and when my daughter took the tour, she really liked it here and we thought it would be a good fit. I also looked at it online and it looked very nice. My mom had a shared room but she had plenty of space and it had a large closet. With living out of state, I did find most of the staff members here to be very friendly and they communicated to me if there were any updates with my mom. I would recommend to other families who are looking.

My loved one seems to be in a good place. I like that it is assisted living. The staff is excellent, and they are always able to keep me updated on my loved one. I like the fact that the community is able to do blood draws when needed, this is a huge relief for me.

All the staff, with a couple of nurse exceptions, are fantastic. They seem to really care and make every effort to make sure our loved one is safe and clean. The suites are very nice with a nice amount of space. They have weekly housekeeping and laundry and a chef in the dining room. Residents can eat in the dining room anytime 12 hours a day if they choose. The activities director is spunky and a lot of fun. Executive director of the facility is available and approachable and wellness team is responsive, which makes all the difference. Residents of all levels of functioning seem happy and well taken care of. Would recommend this facility.

I would tell the community is everything my loved one and I wanted and more. They provide attentiveness and companionship. They are total professionals. My loved one is pleased with the food. They have art classes, card games, bingo, and more for the residents to choose from. One big plus is they provide an atmosphere for seniors to get together converse and make friends. This is the big picture for me.

My dad is a picky eater and he enjoys the food so I think that the meals are good. They have standard meals and then others they could pick from so they have a variety and good quality foods. They are starting up activities again. They do have a bus that takes them out and I saw this week they are starting up with that again. They publish a weekly bulletin with activities but my mom and dad do not always read it, but there are a lot provided. I think you get a lot for your money here and the facility has a great layout, it is more like a high end resort or hotel. and I would recommend them for others who are looking.

They're really good here. Based on the limited areas I've seen, it has been very clean. They seem to be pretty thorough with the care they provide. My loved one says the food is hit or miss, it just depends on the cook. When they were bringing food to the rooms, it was always cold. The dining room is open now, and she feels like she has more options at each meal. It's kind of cafeteria style food, but they do mix it up a little with semi-fancier things like Asian food, and on Valentine's Day they served steak and lobster. There was one nurses in particular who would go way above and beyond to contact me to help with my moms' care, which was great when I wasn't able to go inside to visit. The community is starting to do more activities, things like exercise classes and painting classes. As far as cost, these types of places are so expensive, but you're getting a really nice place for what you're paying at Claremont Place. The people are great. They're so nice. And when you look at other places, the cost is comparable. We moved mom in right in the middle of the pandemic, so we experienced a few bumps in the road, probably more so than usual since they were short staffed due to Covid. We had some issues where it seemed like the right had didn't know what the left hand was doing. They have a preferred medication provider, and there were some communication issues in the beginning, nothing huge or life threatening. But we got everything smoothed out. Shortly after she moved in, someone had just come down with Covid. And they did a phenomenal job of keeping it from spreading throughout the whole community. It was amazing. They went above and beyond what they were required to do to keep the residents safe. And they kept us informed of any new cases. I was thrilled with how they handled it. If somebody can afford Claremont Place for their loved one, this is definitely the place to go.

It has been a good experience so far at Landings of Sidney. I am always amazed when I call how much they know about her and what is going on, they have been great with personalized care. The staff members here are very patient with her and they are just excellent. They have also been very good with communication as well. I do know that the chefs are open to suggestions and have been accommodating with the meals. Based off of what I have seen I am impressed and I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking.
