I would highly reccomend Canterfield of Kennesaw for your loved one. After visited a neighbor there a few years back, my Dad wanted to move in there. He was so lonely in his condo and longed for the companship of others and was impressed with the amount of activities available for the residents. We checked it our as throughly as we could and we are very happy that he was able to places here. The majority of the staff really care about the residents and that is most important criiteria for a wonderful facility. Dad is very happy here and we are very happy that such a wonderful facility is available for him.

We are very happy with Canterfield of Tallahassee. We have told other people about it - we told our primary care physician who wrote down their information. I've even contacted a nurse I know who works for hospice, I gave her a couple names of different facilities and asked for her opinion. She said, "Definitely go with Canterfield, as the other place is known to not have enough help.", so even she knows. There's also a friend of hers, who's a doctor or a nurse, they visit Canterfield a lot and they know what to look for. Even they are very pleased too. So once I heard all of that, I knew it would be a great place. The Director, [name removed], is just the best. She puts you at ease, shows everything, and answered all of our questions; she couldn't have been nicer.

Beautiful clean facility; the staff is attentive, caring and wonderful. I recommend this place to anyone.

This has been a good experience from the start. The original person I met with, was able to allow tour the entire community from assisted living to memory care with the residents being in the community. They showed me how the meals were prepared and how the community works with picky eaters. They showed all the rooms they had available and allowed me to pick the one that would work best for my loved one. I was able to meet with the caseworkers, chef, care workers, and more the same day of the tour, and then again when my loved one moved in. The community made sure that I had an after hours phone number and the director even gave me their cell phone number to reassure me of how to reach someone when I have a question or concern. Everything that I was expecting to happen, has had happen. They have even kept in touch with me when my loved one has fallen. My loved one is content being here. There have been incidences of COVID since my loved one has been in the community. They are good at communicating with the family about these incidences. They are very good at their protocols they follow to ensure the reduction of cases.

Not only is this Facility Clean and Beautiful, it has caring staff. They go out of their way to help residents and family. They assist in transport to Appts which is a help because we own trucks and Our Dad can’t get in them, free of charge. They have activities for the residents and they are 5 minutes from Walmart. They do an excellent job on the residents laundry. I would recommend them highly.

I think the most important thing is how supportive the staff are. The facility is not even half full yet, so my parents don't have as many friends yet, but the activities director is awesome. They have a really nice outdoor pool and a nice gym. The facility itself is perfect inside, but the location isn't great. The view is of a 24/7 daycare center behind their building, and it's not in a clan part of town, although I think the area is gradually starting to be cleaned up.

Our mom moved here from an independent living apartment in Gainesville to be closer to me. We loved visiting her, staff were always friendly. Mom enjoyed her stay here. When her dementia worsened, she moved into the Memory Care unit and received excellent care. No place is ever going to be perfect and staffing shortages are everywhere in this industry, but we always felt she was cared for with love and dignity. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, I would highly recommend you look here. Mom passed last month and I miss her terribly but I also miss going to visit with her Canterfield family. We couldn't have found a better place for her to live.

My mom has been at canterfield for one year and is very happy. The staff has been most helpful with any concerns we have and have done everything to make her stay very comfortable. Now with all her meds given as scheduled she is a new person. Thank you to everyone .

We had a great tour at Canterfield of Fort Myers. We found it to be a very pleasant community - they were actually our 2nd choice. The place that we chose was just closer to where we live, and we liked the facility a little better.

The staff are very involved and great to work with. They had a welcome basket in my loved one's room when we were moving in. They were able to jump in and assist in doing my loved one's hair without requesting them to do it. My loved one is always well groomed and put together when visiting. The community keeps you updated on your loved one's care and wants you to be involved in the care if you want to. They offer support groups as well. They have lots of activities for the residents to choose from to participate in. The food is good and served hot.

Our loved one was there for respite care and if we had to do it all over again we would choose Canterfield community right away. The value for cost was very fair.

The community is very clean, the staff members are very friendly and overall we are pleased with the community. We have not been there for normal meal time, but we did get a chance to go there for the Thanksgiving meal and it was fantastic, they did a beautiful job and it was like eating at a fancy restaurant.

Canterfield of Bluffton offers so much as a community. It has a very friendly and attentive staff. I would feel safe having a family member live here.

This community was very nice. It is a brand new community and the staffing was an issue. The tour was very good and informative.

Our family had a virtual tour and it was a good experience they did a great job explaining everything to us.
