The stay has been pleasant, good. I moved in to the community is Sept 2021. I am still establishing the areas of interest around the city of Mountlake Terrace, etc. and inside the community. I have a nice, quiet apartment lot where I find peace within me. It's nice and private, where I can sing.

I like the community. I tis a nice place to live in because the staff are nice and the people around me are nice.

I feel it's reasonable with the condition I have, I love my home. The dining is great! I feel safe living here, the team of care staffs are happy, cheerful every time I pass their office to go home. This place is clean, what it is needed for. It fulfills the need at a time, Soduko puzzles I like playing always good for me and I am never lonely.

I picked this community over other communities when I toured they invited to lunch. I did not turn back because the food served had varieties and healthy food to my soul. I am happy here. The care team responded to my calls promptly when I needed it.

I moved in this year around May. My sons picked this place because it was closed to one of my son's house. This place is clean, reasonable pricing, reasonable and comfort environment. The food quality has dropped, they have not enough experience, the menu does not correspond to the actual product. I don't need fancy names labeled I don't understand. Care team is always shortage. Generally, the community staff are friendly and accommodate me and family.

During the transitioning of my mom to The Commons at Dallas Ranch we experienced hiccups which caused me to question if I made the right choice. However, some of the staff went above and beyond to make things right and once my mom moved in I was convinced that The Commons was the right choice. The administration, dining crew, Med techs, and housekeeping staff are professional and take pride in their work as evidenced by the great outcomes. And they care for my mom in a kind and compassionate manner. My mom has shared with me that she is happy at The Commons and our family has shared with me that my mom seems much happier since moving into The Commons.

Rooms are very nice; location suitable; activities limited; kitchen workers do a good job. Nice landscaping, repair attended as requested. I would rate it as better than average in most circumstances.

The pandemic has changed alot of things but everyone is doing their best. Hopefully things will soon return to normal.

I am great and generally work together and are reasonably attentive and residents needs.

I think my mom really enjoys it there - the activities, the friendliness of the other residents, and the interactions that she gets there. I think the staff do fairly well. They provide good care, and they provide rides for her when she needs to go places. They do a pretty good job overall.

This is a different life than living in your own house and .being self sufficient. At first the other tenants were not very friendly but they came to trust us and we are now part of the regulars. It took some experiences to learn to accept that employees can pop into your apartment at any time. This has been especially true during our lock downs. We like our apartment and are very comfortable here. The most disappointing element is the food. It sustains life but won't win any awards. The ingredients are repetitive and often don't match what was described in the printed sheets given out.

I would say keep looking. My mom did not have a good experience, but others that we talked to did. Given what's available in the area, I would say they're the best bet. The public areas are very clean, but the private rooms are less so. They did okay with the care, but they just kept adding costs on to everything, and that got very frustrating for me. The staff are very nice. The food was good. But the activities were geared more toward more fully abled people who aren't quite reedy for assisted living yet.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a good experience

I had a good virtual tour at Courtyard of Mt. Tabor. Nothing wrong with it that I could tell. It was just out of my price range.

This community was old and dark and I wanted something brighter and more clean for my loved one.

I would suggest you look elsewhere. It took two weeks to get my loved one's meds correct. We had to be there during this time to supervise and to assist with this. There is no empathy from the resident engagement administrator.

I rarely ever give a 5 star review because I feel there is always room for improvement. Besides their need to perfect their website to pay remotely for rent and a few bumps in the beginning, I am really happy with the care and activities The Firs provides for my mother. She has made friends already with other residence and gets involved with various activities offered. She also enjoys the salon facilities onsite while I have the comfort of knowing she is safe. Her home caretaker comes as well as her physical therapists. They have weekly cleaning of sheets and light housekeeping. It actually is a wonderful place for Mom to call home!
