My mother has been a resident at Highland Glen since it opened. She has been very well cared for there and loves the staff. She is now in decline, but in prior years she was very active and developed wonderful friends there, and has a great relationship with several on the staff. Our family greatly appreciates the caring staff at Highland Glen. They are really wonderful, particularly the Activities Director ([Removed]), the Director ([Removed]), the Nurse and MedTech, and the receptionists. The facilities are high quality and the apartments are very comfortable. I would recommend this facility highly to anyone who needs their loved one to be cared for safely and securely.

Only facility with a pool for water exercises. Dining room was bright with many windows. Assigned dining with two sittings. Food was excellent far superior over any facility I visited. They have a personal trainer available a few days a week that many residences love. Good pricing, they are in the top 3 on my list

When my parents were deciding on an assisted living home, my parents and siblings all fell in love with Highland Glen! It is a beautiful facility and the resident rooms are large. The activities are so much fun and our parents have really enjoyed it there. The staff is SUPERB! We can't say enough good about all of them! I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!

Mom was a resident for about 9 years. Can not be more positive about the facility and especially the staff. The two years spent in assisted living care were excellent and integrated with local hospitals and hospice. The nursing staff really cares and is always attentive and polite. Food service and dining staff are outstanding. Business transactions are very professional and accurate. Advise and support with moves and transitions are very helpful.

This well maintained community is attractively nestled under Cheyenne Mountain. I moved into my one-bedroom casita in January and have been increasingly pleased. The staff is wonderful. All called me by name from the first day. Each request has been met cheerfully and promptly. [Removed] at the front desk is a jewel. The wait staff in the lovely dining room are warm and attentive fullfilling even off the menu choices. On my birthday they presented me with a thoughtful gift bag. Food is good (soups are outstanding) and with so any possibilities, there is always a choice to satisfy. [Removed] and the maintenance crew have kept my apartment in great condition. Can you tell I LOVE IT HERE?

I turned this nice community for the care for my mom.I did like the community. The nicest community. the area beautiful. I liked seeing a community that was more than clean. The staff were friendly and caring to the needs I had for my mom's care. The reactivities and the menu ware very good. I would have liked this community for the care and the value for my mom and suggest that other families tour this community.

My dad recently passed away at the Palisades and I would like to thank the caring staff that provided a comfortable, safe, and loving place for my parents to live during my dad's last couple of years of life. When he had to transition from assisted living to memory care they made it a warm and welcoming transition. The care staff loved him and he knew it. They always had a way of bringing out a smile from my dad and loved his sense of humor. When he was weak or stressed they were nurturing and never scrimping with hugs and smiles. Seeing them help him with care toward the end of his life when he was not able to stand on his own or take care of his own needs was comforting and truly made me feel that he was in the best place possible. Once he passed we were again so thankful for the love and attention that has been shown to mom, who still lives in assisted living. We will forever be grateful for the day in and day out warmth and affection that has been experienced by both our parents and us.

My mother is doing very well since her move into Northgate Plaza. The place is clean and accommodating, but the deciding factor was location. It is close to my home and close to where she wanted to stay.

I am very happy to see that my mom is happy in this nice community. The staff are so very nice and my mom likes that they have made her feel comfortable and welcomed. The meals are good and she clains that they are fancy. The are offering her alot of nice activities, and I am sure she will participate in time. She likes being social and feel good here. I have recommend others to this community for the great care and value.

We are very pleased with Kirkwood Orange and they have done an outstanding job. They allowed hospice to come in for my father and we didn't have to move him. We are very happy with this community.

I began a mail and online conversation with The Firs when I still lived in California. I was on their mailing list, also. About 3 years later I moved to Olympia to a temporary residence to allow myself time to look around. I did look around. I chose The Firs. My senior residence in Sacramento was superior, and I consider The Firs to be superior.... in all respects. Residents are such happy people.... noticeable on every visit. Staff are accommodating and professional. Dining room wait staff are local high school and college students.....I want to adopt every one of them! I cannot imagine anyone not liking The Firs. We all have different lifestyles and expectations. I believe The Firs can accommodate all without much difficulty.

I like the care at this commuinty and knowing that thet staff are very nice and caring to my dad. the food is appealing and he does like the activities that are offered. The community is clean and maintained. We would recommend this care and the value for families for a loved one.

The tour was good and they did great showing us the community. It was a clean place and they were doing good with us on the tour. They would have been a suitable choice for my loved one. This was the other option.

If I could score this community a 10 out of 5 I would. It is absolutely beautiful! The food is fantastic and the facility is very clean. The residents all dressed very elegantly and nice.It was on the top end of my budget.I waited six months on the waiting list here but they had no vacancies. This community was my top pick out of all the ones I toured.

The "WELCOME HOME" sign in the entry says it all. I love coming to visit my parents and always feel at home. Your employees are motivated to give the best care to each resident and it shows. [Removed] is a great director of CFL. She treats each person with the same love and respect that she would treat her own parents. She has always been willing to go the extra mile in coordinating special requests such as helping my parents be ready when we pick them up for family celebrations and arranging the dining room for my mother's birthday. [Removed] runs a wonderful support group for families. The aides have treated my parents with respect and are very efficient. [Removed] and so many others have gone the second mile in providing daily care.

I am happy with the care that my mom is getting here. We are very happy that she is with great staff who are very caring. They have a good variety of meals and we like that she is offered activities. This community had a good value and great care. I would recommend the community for other families.

My sister's and I moved our father into the Memory Care side of Highland Glen in August 2016. He was living in the assisted living side first and was having some difficulties with falling and his alzheimer's disease was progressing. The management advised us to move him into their memory care, where he would get more attention and higher quality care, plus more eyes on him. We were very reluctant to do this, but when they showed us what their Memory care unit looked like, we had no reservations. Their memory Care unit is large, clean, decorated beatuifully and smells very nice. That can be a problem with the Elderly care homes, which we know first hand as our Mother passed away with Alzheimer's 3 years ago. It took a few days for our father to adjust to the move. but once he did he absolutely loved it there and so did we. The staff is very professional, courteous and personable and you feel like it is one big happy, caring family. Our dad lived there until he passed away. In fact our family misses all the staff and residents and hope to be able to go back and volunteer or visit from time to time.

This was a great facility and offered the environment, activities etc, you would want for your loved one. The staff was very friendly and the grounds were clean and spacious

This is a great place for your loved one! The staff is warm and inviting. The building is beautiful, inside and out! They also have a great activities coordinator that provides plenty of fun and engaging activities. The food is always very good! I give it an A+!!

I was very impressed with my first impression walking through the door, I was greeted with smiles and hello from staff and residents, the feeling was warm and was very positive. The building was immaculate and very well maintained. I would highly recommend the Wellington if you are looking for a caring, loving, comfortable and fun place for your loved one. They were great at answering question I had and made my overall experience amazing.
