My son and daughter found The Commons on Thorton to be the best in Stockton.

All the services provided by the Commons have been excellent. I have faced the people who work here to be friendly, kind, and thoughtful. Everyone has gone out of their way to ask if I am comfortable, and they really seem to care that my needs and even interests are met. I am happy to be here and blessed.

Care is excellent. Caregivers are cheerful and enjoy the residents. They do an excellent job with each individual resident. It is remarkable that the kitchen is able to supply us with adequate and tasty food in our individual apartments during this period of the virus. I congratulate the chef and servers.

I have lived at the Commons for over 3 years and I enjoy living here as we can do exercise, walk, and any other activity to stay active and fit. Happy hour every Friday is my favorite activity. I like the food here and better yet I do not have to wash any dishes. The staff is very helpful, if you need help.

I am happy here and enjoy the friends that I have met. I enjoy the staff here and we seem to get along very well. I could not have found a better place to enjoy life here.

The "Commons" offers everything a resident needs (except a pool). If you need outside services they will arrange to accommodate you. The entire staff is very efficient and friendly. During the "pandemic" they have kept us very safe and free of infection. I would recommend the Commons to anyone in need of their services.

My daughter toured (3 daughters) toured this community. Also my brother, they also thought it was great and was as close to home as you could get. They also looked at others and not one could compare. I have met new friends that I haven't had a chance to meet before I came here. All I can say is, thank you and love my family.

All of our daily needs have been so well taken care of that we have little to worry about getting done. It would be nice though to be able to go to activities such as bingo and cards for a diversion. You can only watch so much TV or read. We're well taken care of, and the staff is so nice!

Crystal Terrace has done the best by the residents during this pandemic.

The Reserve offers residents a multitude of regularly scheduled on-site activities covering a broad spectrum of interests ranging from intensely physical exercise sessions to mentally challenging games, from manual arts (such as building and painting and jewelry-making) to classical concerts and twice-a-day movies in a comfortable theater, from supporting intellectual participation activities (like a book club) to games of chance (e.g., nickel poker). In addition, off-site trips to events of special interest are offered periodically for selective participation by interested residents. Living quarters are kept meticulously clean by thorough routine once-a-week cleaning and in-between services if/as needed. Requests for maintenance are expeditiously and professionally handled. The one-word descriptor "Great' doesn't begin to adequately characterize the all-round excellence of services rendered to The Reserve's residents.

My Mother has been living at the Commons for over 1 year and have seen it active with all the engaging activities and social event during the non pandemic times. My very active Mother, does not need assistance so I can't comment on that, however during the pandemic, I can say the staff have been very creative and have helped get my Mother thru the isolation. Staff is very responsive and have maintained their good humor and upbeat demeanor in spite of the situation.

I have been happy as a resident the last few years. The administration and leadership team has provided and maintained activities for our enjoyment and enrichment and always treat us with respect and consideration. The food is delicious and plentiful. We are allowed choices depending on our individual choices. The staff is efficient, friendly, and helpful. Crystal Terrace, not only is a pleasant and comfortable place for me to live; it is my home.

If you are looking to put your loved one in a care facility, please consider Chancellor Gardens! My mom has been there since March and has loved it! It has been a blessing for our family, especially during this hard and uncertain time! They have really taken the necessary precautions to protect my moms health and maintain her mental health!

I did many months of review and careful assessment before deciding on The Firs as a permanent home for my senior years. Many factors contributed to the final decision -- location, services, atmosphere, and price. Now that I've lived here for over two years, I can say unequivocally that I made the very best decision. It's not just the services, the facility, or even the other residents that make The Firs such a great place. It's the staff. From the director at the top to the young dining room servers, we have the best crew of caring, energetic, efficient and effective people that you could find anywhere. For example, one of our marketing managers, [name removed], is a Jill-of-all-trades who serves residents in a myriad of capacities. If something needs to be accomplished, she will get it done. Pleasant, effervescent, energetic, knowledgeable -- and willing to do whatever needs to be done to serve her "family" here at The Firs. Aging senior citizens need the assurance that someone really cares -- and we receive that here. One delightful characteristic of the work ethic here is the opportunities afforded our young people who begin by serving tables and are given a chance to cross-train and take advantage of upward mobility within the organization. It pays off in loyalty and astonishingly good service and care. I never want to move again -- this is home, this is family, this is contentment.

The staff are wonderful. They took very good care of mother in law who had severe Alzheimer's and dementia and it wasn't just the staff in house it was also the management. They availed of themselves to my wife and I at all times of day and night Even on their days off. They answered their cell phone when we called with challenges or issues. It was a great experience. If I ever needed assisted living or memory care, I would move there, that's how much I like the facility, the people, and the food was very good, too.

The team at Seven Lakes is caring and compassionate. It takes a special person to work in a community of dementia patients, and Seven Lakes is a chock-a-block full of such individuals. They emphasize the fact that their residents are adults who want to be treated as such and they allow the residents to choose for themselves as often as possible. This gives the residents maximum dignity while living a difficult diagnosis.
