Majestic Care

No outings off campus. Charge for doing laundry. No nurses on campus overnight. It's clean.

What they could improve on would be staffing, and with those improvements we would maybe recommend Majestic Care to other families.

We were told that they took Medicaid but when we got moved in we found out that they did not. The community is nice and some were good but the amount of store put on our family was unnecessary. If you need assistance to afford this community i would look elsewhere.

Older building, updated. First impression-lobby-residents looked very depressed. Lighting dim. Extra charges for pets, dinner trays delivered to room. Staff we saw did not engage us, other than [name removed] who gave us the presentation and tour.

I toured at Cedar Village while looking for a new place for my loved one. I thought that the community was really nice, and I really liked the bright, spacious feel of the apartments. However, I did think that the apartments seemed little far from the ding area, and I was uncomfortable with this.

[Removed] was very helpful and knew the residents by name interacting with them as we toured. This is a nice option for the different stages of care. Does have a darker lobby and common areas. Very large-feels like a hotel/hospital with clinical atmosphere more than residential. Don't like the location on Dixie. This is probably to large for Mom.

I wouldn't give anything a five. I think there are a lot of things that could be improved. For the most part it's clean, and the staff is friendly. They do a lot of nickle and diming. You really have to pay attention and stay on top of the charges.

Nurse is very snippy. I'm being extremely friendly so my loved one gets good care. It's not helping! The roommate waited over 15 minutes for help to the bathroom. Need more help that gives [removed]!

Dirty, smells. Memory Care unit is poor. Place dirty smells, people sitting in soiled clothes and smell. Dirty chairs, etc.

Over the last few years the quality of care has declined dramatically. The staff is more interested in texting on their phones than seeing to the needs of the residents. My family is very disappointed with the staff. The turnover of staff is to be expected but the new staff seem uncaring.

Another injury courtesy of current staff. Care conferences over a year behind. CEO took injury photo off mom's wall so venders would not see. Dirty room, incompetent and lazy staff. Best part is vender [removed]! Could not submit review unless I selected assisted living. My mom came form assisted living, nothing any better there.

It was the worst care a person could get for a loved one. I pulled my father out after a week. Found him laying on the ground next to his bed, bruises on his head, and workers sitting in the common area playing on there phones. Cost us the full amount for month and no refund. Would not recommend them to anyone. Place was awful. Brought my dad home in pretty much a coma shape, and he died a few days later.

This place is horrible. If you care about your loved ones please keep them away from this place. Staff are rude and disrespectful to the residents. When brought to the administrators attention, she tends to make excuses instead of handling the issue. Food is slop, would not serve it to my dog. Complaints have been made several times and nothing gets done about it. Our loved ones deserve top notch care and this place does not provide that. This place deserves zero stars…

Food from the Nursing facility??? Independent and assisted living should be treated as the proud accomplished men and women that they are. Covid is one thing; poor quality of food and dietary needs to be addressed . Shame on you

First of all, I had moved her in there upon recommendation. Paid a high amount of money, she was there for two weeks. Day one of therapy she had fallen. They took an X-Ray and said nothing was broken. She continued to have very bad pain. Took her to actual hospital and she had broken femur at the hip. So she had to have surgery and then rehab. In the rehab side, the care was very laxed and did not feel it was great care. She had again fallen during rehab. She ended up passing while I was in transit. When I arrived only were met by the police officers that were there. I asked for the medical records and the transcripts of what had taken place. I feel there was negligence in this matter. Probably would not recommend one person go there. Care wise, they were just not on par with what you are paying for.

Please see the Google Reviews that relate to Assisted Living. The AL floor where my 93 year old mom lives is totally understaffed. Medication mistakes are made routinely. Meals are served in styrofoam boxes and the food is disgusting. Cleaning services do not keep the rooms or common areas clean. The parking lot always has used masks and other trash on the ground. My mom fell over a month ago in her room on a transition strip...floor not fixed and reporting issues are still unresolved. Executive Director has only excuses for services not responsibly provided. Safety is not paramount at Cedar Village/Majestic Care.

Watching staff laugh and talk while a resident wanted to go to bed, the resident waited for 1 and half hours and there was no staff around, she was told 2 times to wait a minute they were busy. As I watched them down the hall having a joyous time as you can in the video and picture I have of them. 0 stars

My father lived here until I found another facility. Kitchen ran out of eggs for breakfast, milk, fruit frequently. No hair nets for kitchen staff. Strong urine odor throughout. No activity personnel for months. Flea infestation. Residents sleeping on lobby sodas with soiled and soaked under garments. And this place is more expensive than others.

When we walked into this community I knew that it would not be good for my dad. The community was very, very depressing to me. It just was not the type of place I wanted my dad. The people were nice though.
