Majestic Care

We were in an urgent situation, my being out of state, my brother heading out of town. Dad was admitted to the hospital and Mom could not stay alone. Elmcroft came to the rescue, literally, to provide respite care while Dad was in the hospital and at the very least until I arrived 2 days later. They helped me get the information from the primary care doctor's office, medications, etc. and picked her up and took her to Elmcroft. It was an amazing experience in a stressful time. The Director, driver and staff were top quality in their caring and service. Her care for medications, meals and room were all it should be. These are special people that provide these services. Mom can be a pistol at times, and they handled it all with kindness and grace. I would definately use them in the future.

My search began with online with 'A place for Mom' in October 2013. They were very helpful in giving me a list of facilities near my desired location and budget. They set up a tour at Elmcroft of Sagamore Hills with my family and Mom. The staff there is very friendly. They explained the facility, rooms, features, and activities. We ate lunch to try the food. It was very tasty and good portions. After careful thought we selected Elmcroft to be Moms new residence. She has been there about 3 weeks now and is adjusting well with no complaints.

Majestic Care is a wonderful place to live!

A very nice facility, however the overall feel is much like a nursing home atmosphere. I really appreciate that three meals are provided, but I wish residents had the option of eating in their apartment. On site nursing care is very important and the facility is equipped to handle most care needs. Most affordable prices of all the places I have toured. I was impressed with the staff. Very friendly and informative.

They are genuinely very nice and caring about their residents, I have had some issues but that's to be expected. Helping, kind, caring, supportive, engaging.

I have enjoyed my time at the commons, I've been here over a year. It was a bit of a change after owning my own home for 34 years but I've adjusted.

The Commons is quite positive. That includes both residents and staff, the place is clean, convenient for residents with many activities. And most important is safety. I feel safe here.

Apt is good- could use an oven as I cook. Maintenance is timely, staff is friendly lots to do, residents friendly fun place.

The food is good. The people are friendly and helpful. They take care of any issues in a timely manner. The outings are fun and interesting. It is conveniently located with nearby grocery stores and restaurants nearby

I wish for more handicap accessible things like higher toilets and more accessible stove for example. And more electrical outlets. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. It’s a pretty place to live.

Cost, other places were as high as a couple thousand dollars a month for rent. If your looking for a place you can afford, you should at least see what they have to offer versus other assisted living facilities.

It's not bad for the price and I would recommend to others.

discharge left a lot to be desired. No assistance or checkout process Family was left on their own and just walked out One instance where visitor waited an hour for assistance to locate a patient and patient missed a meal having overslept. Visitor had to call to get food delivered. Other than that, it was a good facility and they provided care needed. They had to make adjustments due to her condition and kept us informed at all times, even regarding minor incidents.

My loved one was previously a resident at Saint Anthony Majestic Care and overall her experience at this facility was okay. This facility was very Independent Living and there wasn't a lot of staff for the number of residents in the units, especially during non-business hours. The food was just okay, but it was always fairly warm and in the place and room. Even with those issues, I would feel comfortable moving someone else into Saint Anthony Majestic Care.

The main reason that our family chose Saint Anthony Majestic Care over other facilities we looked into at the time was because the facility was very clean and it was a very active community. I think others would find it helpful to know that the staff here really gets to know their residents.

They need someone at the front desk during normal work hours. There is never anyone at the nurses stations to help with information. Meals were good when we first moved then it went downhill quick. Apartments are clean but hallways could use some work.

This was an okay community. It wasn't close to family.

Our loved one was only there for respite care but for the length of stay the value for cost was great, very reasonable.
