Lovely community, but costly

Great community right in the heart of downtown Lakeland. Loved the loving family atmosphere the community provided. They did great helping my dad feel right at home! I would highly recommend this community to others!

The thing I am most pleased with at this community is how well of a job the nurses do at keeping in contact with me about everything that goes on with my mother. The nurses and aids also have done a wonderful job at making sure my mother gets a shower everyday and her hygiene is kept up since she can't remember to do that for her self. Her nutrition has also improved immensely, since making the move into this facility she has gained weight with the help of all the staff reminding her of her meal times. They have an awesome memory care unit that involves the residents in different activities and techniques that help them improve there memory loss. I am very thankful for the care this place has been providing my mom and would highly recommend it.

My mom moved over to Oakbridge from a rehabilitation center. My mom loves I t here. Everyone is very helpful. We have had a very smooth transition. I recommend here go everyone. I also recommend you research ever where you look ask to see the contract before you sign so you can take your time and read every page and ask question. If the don't want to allow you to see contract walk away. When I looked here I asked tons of questions and called back to ask even more. We really do recommend Oakbridge

I moved my Mother at the end of Sept. 2016 to Savannah Cittages from another facility. I am very happy with the staff and cleanliness of the facility. My step father is in the next building and the staff accommodates us by bringing him to eat meals with my Mother which is very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Savannah Cottages and Court.

This community is really homey. My loved one loved it here and is doing wonderful. The food is nice and they are always doing tons of activities. I also like that they have a wrap around porch for the residents to sit outside and get some fresh air. They also have plenty of staff to make sure that the residents have the proper care. I would absolutely recommend this place to my friends and family.

I would like to say that [Removed] is awesome! She was super nice and friendly to me and my loved one and went over and beyond her job. She always made us feel like we were family. My loved ones apartment was always kept clean and the dining area and food was great. The community has a garden that my loved one loves to walk around in. Also the community has lots of natural light and just bright all around.

My father in law seems to be doing well here at this community. They have a very nice staff here, they are attentive and friendly. We know he is being cared for well here. They do a good job keeping the community well maintained, everything is very nice and clean. There are activities offered for the residents. He seems to be eating well. I would recommend this community, he is in good hands here.

I found A Place for Mom online searching for memory care for a family member. Tamara called me immediately, asked a few questions and the provided me a list of sites for me to visit. Atria was number one on list. I visited three. All were superior but when Marygrace gave me the tour of Atria I knew this was the place for my loved one. It is feels like home, residents look happy and involved in activities. The nursing staff I met has been employed for many years, which says volumes to me. The residents have their own furniture that is familiar to them and area is small, secured with fenced outside activity area like a yard at home. We chose Atria for our family member.

Mom does not seem to like the food but I have tried it and I think it is ok. The staff are very helpful, informative and there technology is up to date. They do inform us through emails which I like. They offer a variety of activities and outings for the residents to participate in. The community is clean and well maintained.

I was very impressed! There wasn't a thing that my mom would need that they did not provide. The facility was clean and very organized. There were plenty of room options. Everyone was very friendly and one of the residents said to my mom " You'll love it here."

My dad is thriving here! He even has a girlfriend! I could not be happier. I feel good that he is safe and taken care of and he loves his room. We decorated just like his house in South Florida. We take him out to dinner and bring him over to my house to spend time with my children. The staff is really friendly and supportive. When I ask a question or need understanding about my dads care they help in great detail. There is one there that is funny and makes me laugh every time. It also always smells good which is important. I also like to pop in on my lunch and eat with dad. The food is great and really creative I have to say... When I tell my wife how good the cooking is she tell me I should move in!

My mother is doing better now here, everything is working out well. We've had a few problems, but they are good at resolving problems. The community looks great, they do keep her room and the facility very well maintained. They keep her room very stocked with supplies. They have been very accommodating. There are many activities offered. She is pleased with the food. Overall everything is working out well. I would recommend this community.

We are no longer living here but it was a good experience for the time we needed them. My husband and I did not stay long enough to get the full experience.

I just love this community. My mom has been there for 3 years and she has received excellent care. The director is very caring, helpful and the staff are very compassionate. The activities are excellent and the atmosphere is very home-like. We love it!

I have visited this community for a few years. This is the place for your loved one. I keep coming to events they have. What is nice is the same people have worked there for so long. Mark in the salon has been there for over 20 years as well as some really nice servers in the restaurant. Steve and Carol (who have been there for over 5 years!) always invite me to events, they have some fun ones. The place isn't the newest, but it is well maintained and clean. Everyone is happy too. I am looking for the future and have inquired early, I am a planner. I feel like family and I don't even live there. Some of the caregivers remember me and call me by name when they see me at one of the events. The food is fabulous too! I have been to lunch twice! I tell everyone at my church and book club to visit Savannah Court of Maitland for their loved one. Some day this will be my home too.
