Magnolia Manor

I helped my loved one move in, but have not really talked to her since. I can say that all of the staff were super friendly and helpful when we were moving in.

I am very pleased here. I have been here for three years. I have made some wonderful friendships. Most of the staff is great, the food is great, the work hard and are understaffed most of the time.

[name removed] is AWESOME! She helped me in my time of need. She is very sweet and thoughtful. She is very kind and patient with the residents. She does. Het Job well. My apartment is nice and it was completely redone before I moved in. [name removed] is very nice also and helpful.

My sister seems very happy at Magnolia Manor on the Coast, she has settled in well. I would definitely recommend the facility to others looking.

Magnolia Manor is Senior Living at its best. The apartments are safe and secure with balconies overlooking the pond and fountains. Large social areas provide opportunities for friendship and entertainment. Check it out.

My mom is a resident in Assisted Living. She loved her roomy apartment. She loved the staff and I can tell that she is well taken care of. My mom is happy. I am happy to recommend.

This is a very good facility. I have been here for a year now. The surroundings are pleasant, the staff is friendly and caring and the rooms are more than adequate. The food is more than adequate-some meals-very good. The ambience makes one happy to reside here.

My mom lived at MM for 3 years in each level of care. We were pleased with the staff and their heart for service. The campus is a hidden treasure.

My MIL lived at Magnolia Manor for several years, started out in independent living and moved to assisted living. The staff at the time were awesome. Ms. [name removed] and Ms. [name removed] were very compassionate and you know they were in their job to make a difference. My MIL enjoyed the activities and food.

Moving Mom in and dealing with everything from physically getting her there, to the financial part, to the paperwork part - they made it all super easy. And it was very much about what was best for Mom. I never felt any pressure or felt like it was a sales pitch of any sort. Recently I had the opportunity to meet the former director , and she said that what she always told her staff was they don't live where they work, but they work where the residents live. And they work for the residents. And that's exactly what I see. Mom has her home there in her little apartment, and they work for her. They made the transition very easy. And it has been a really good experience. The facility is in close proximity to doctor offices and the hospital. which is very convenient. And they're willing to do transportation to and from appointments if you need it. The doctors and the facility work well together, as well as the pharmacy we use. Magnolia Manor has really good relationships with outside providers and maintains good communication with me about Mom's care. So far they seem to be on the ball without me having to ask, and they've handled things very well. They stick to a routine, which is great for my mom, who has Alzheimer's. They're very complimentary to her, and very encouraging to me. They work on even little problems until they get it figured out. They let me know regularly that she's doing well, which I appreciate. It's a small facility, with about 24 residents in assisted living. The rooms themselves are a nice size and big, but the facility overall is small, so they function very much as a community. I know she's getting more personalized care than she would in a larger facility. Magnolia Manor South is a ministry as well, affiliated with the Methodist church. And they really care about their residents. I can't imagine a better or easier experience.

The people who work there are awesome, our love one really enjoys the staff they are super nice, positive and super helpful. She all in all is very happy at Magnolia Manor. She loves playing bridge with the other residents, we do not get to visit all that much but when we do it does have a vibrant atmosphere to it. Every time she speaks with family or visits she constantly brags to the family about who much she loves Magnolia Manor. She has a full kitchen with a gorgeous view of a pond, fountain, trees and a big big balcony.

It's a beautiful facility. Mon loves her apartment, and she has her own things there, which is nice and makes it feel like home. The main thing is she feels very secure, which was huge for her. We don't interact with the staff every day, but the staff I've engaged with have always been kind and accommodating. Mom loves the food. They bring her lunch every day, and every day she tells me how good it is I think Magnolia Manor South is an excellent value.

I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff and services offered all stand out to me. They have doctors that will come and visit the residents and this was a huge factor for me.
