Magnolia Manor

I will give 5 to all. I find that moving so far from home that I have more things, like changing addresses, doctors etc than I realized. But I am getting there. What other families should realize is that no place has everything. But choose one that has some of what they want most. The apartment is big enough. I have laundry facilities down the hall. The dining room is on my floor. Richmond Hill is a very nice community.

From the moment that I took an initial tour until the time my mom because a resident I was amazed at how organized and how incredibly smooth the process was for making my mom a resident. [name removed] has such a warm and welcoming personality and she is well respected by her staff and residents alike. [name removed] provided me all the information I needed to help make the best choice for my mom and her facilities are well taken care of. There are plenty of activities for residents to engage in and I love that the facility offers independent living and assisted living under the same roof. No other facilities in Richmond Hill offer this amenity. Magnolia Manor also offers transportation services for appointments, free laundry, and a minimum of one meal is available per day for residents with the option for more if desired. I'm happy with the decision I made to move my mom to Magnolia Manor and I would highly recommend it to anyone .

As my elderly mom transitioned from her large house to a smaller and safer environment we found Magnolia Manor on the Coast to be perfect. As you can imagine, this time in a parents life can be difficult. From the beginning the staff were engaged, professional and friendly making this a smoother process. To this day they continue to be engaged and supportive to the residents and the family members providing peace of mind when you can’t be with them everyday. Thank you!

The only thing I have ever heard her complain about is the food. She says it's sometimes cold and, for instance, they had rice not long ago and she says it had not been cooked long enough. She hates being there and not in her own home but not because it's a bad place. All in all, I think it's the best place for her to be so a 5 would be appropriate.

This place is so well-operated and I think Im in paradise.

Magnolia Manor on the coast had meet all the needs for my family member. Meals/ Activities/ Transportation/ Medical needs are available 25/7. Very please with the clean facility, very organized areas, such as dining, activity room, chapel/ and common areas. The staff was very knowledgeable and very pleasant.

We moved Mom in she has adjusted well. Lots of things to do and she is served more food than she can eat. We personalized her room to make her feel more at home. We brought her items from her house and which also makes her feel more like home. She has joined a Kanasta group which she never even knew how to play. She god a cut and color from [name removed] who comes in once a week and she thought it was awesome.

Everything is wonderful here...I love living here and am getting monthly income from the VA....I made the right choice in moving here. They are here to help with anything but otherwise give you space and privacy.

They were very helpful and gracious even when my mother was difficult with them. They were also very supportive of me during that time. I would recommend Magnolia Manor to others looking.

The staff are always very friendly and courteous when I ask questions. They are very kind to my Dad, even when he is grumpy and hard-headed. They have a way of working with him that isn't threatening or intimidating.

We loved having my mom in the independent living section of Magnolia Manor. The staff are friendly and supportive, and truly love what they are doing. In a time when it is hard to find any staff they manage to find staff that care about the residents. The grounds and the area are beautiful and very safe.

What has made Magnolia Manor of Columbus such a great experience so far is the staff, they are awesome the go above and beyond to make sure all residents are taken care of. Based on our experience so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

The overall experience with Magnolia Manor has been wonderful. Like all human endeavors there are always minor issues, and in this case all minor issues have been addressed by the professional staff at Magnolia Manor on the Coast. The Director, Assisted Living Director and Business Manager are extremely professional and do a wonderful job accommodating all requests possible. The Transportation Coordinators do a wonderful job supporting my parents with shopping or doctor office visits. ~90% of the CMAs are very pleasant and personable, which is greatly appreciated by my parents. The apartments are well maintained, and the support staff are pleasant to speak to and I enjoy our interactions. The on-site amenities are very nice and provide numerous opportunities for residents to interact. The only change that is needed is better access to the pool for residents that can't use the steps very well.

I helped my loved one move in, but have not really talked to her since. I can say that all of the staff were super friendly and helpful when we were moving in.
