Magnolia Manor

My friend is loving her time here at this community. She is really loving her time at this community. It has truly been a blessing for her. The staff is very accommodating, and they have been very caring and helpful. This community has provided my friend with a secure safe feeling. Everything has worked out very well, and she is very pleased with everything.

I am happy to see my friend is doing great at this very nice community. The staff is great and very helpful to his needs. The food is great and they offer a great choice. I know he is happy with the activities that are offered to him. I have recommended this community to others for good care and a good value.

My parents apartment is beautiful, it remains clean and is very comfortable for them. The staff is always attentive to my loved ones needs and are always making sure there needs are being met. My mother seems to be really enjoying the activities and has no complaints about the meals.

My brother is very pleased with his move to this community. Everything has worked very well. The community is well-kept, his room and the community are nice and clean when I visit. The staff have been helpful, responsive, and also attentive . He has tried a few of the activities offered. I know he is safe and being cared for well here. This is a community that would get my recommendation.

The staff is friendly. The facility is clean and organized. The prices are reasonable.

Upon entering Magnolia Manor personal care community, I felt at home and was greeted by caring staff. The staff took time to give me personalized attention and had a very informative tour. The residents were happy. One lady said this is the place to be when it comes time for some extra care. Upon leaving, I knew this was the place!

We moved my 89 year old mother in on Feb 5th of this S year. She was very excited about the move and having a smaller place. We had looked at several places in the Macon area and Magnolia offered everything we were looking for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Toni is always smiling and right on top of things. It has been a life saver for us. My Mother is happy and very comfortable there. Thanks to Kim for her help in finding the right place for our dear Mother.

My Mom is so happy to be at Magnolia Manor. She moved from PA to GA to join us and was quite reluctant about the move. They have made her feel so welcome and busy that I am not under the stress of worrying about her well being because I know she is happy and being carefully monitored giving me such relief. She is really enjoying herself and loves the food!

The community is very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the outdoor space is beautiful. I like that you can fish, walk the lakes and relax on the back patio. This is definitely one place my wife and I will look at again in a few years when we retire.

So far they've done an excellent job here! My loved one was reluctant to make the move at first, but now that she has settled in she is really enjoying herself. One of the main reasons we selected this community is that my loved one feels more comfortable here based on its smaller size. Everything is on one level, and it is small enough that it is easy to navigate and get from place to place. The staff are all very friendly and caring, and they do a great job keeping everything clean and looked after. The one concern we have is that they don't have some of the security features (pendants, alarms, etc) that we saw in other memory care communities.

This is a very nice community. The facility itself is very clean and well kept looking, and the layout makes it easy to get around. The staff are friendly and professional, and do a great job providing care for the residents. I'd certainly recommend this place to others.

It's excellent! They are being very attentive. I couldn't have asked for more. They don't have levels of care for pricing, which is helpful. I know what I am paying and what she is getting.

Love this place! The rooms are huge and the views incredible. The main drawback is that this one is the most distant from both my home and my husband's work. This one felt the most like home. The other main plus is the on site Chaplain three days a week.

My uncle has a one-bedroom independent living apartment on the fourth floor. He moved from a large city in Texas to Macon to be close to family and has settled in very well. His apartment is nicer than the one-bedroom apartment he was renting independently in the other city for the previous 27 years. The daily meal is generally very good, with plenty of healthy and tasty choices. The public areas are well-maintained and clean, and visitors are always welcomed. The other residents are friendly and helpful, and my relatively shy uncle has felt accepted. We thank the Lord every day for Magnolia Manor.

My mother has been here for 7 years. We couldn't be more pleased. The staff is exceptional and the care she receives is more than we ever expected. I would recommend this assisted living place to anyone. We love it.

Truly a wonderful place. It feels more like a resort than an AL community. Julie in admissions goes above and beyond to be helpful and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. My mother-in-law really resisted the idea of AL, but after only a week in Magnolia Manor she says it's the best decision she ever made!

The property is well managed. All the residents appeared to be happy and chatted with me while I waited for my tour. They have a healthy environment for seniors over all I was impressed.

Consider your budget the location and the amenities they offer. Come take a tour and talk to some of the residents there and I believe you'll like what you see and hear. I’ve noticed a few areas that could use improvement, especially the landscaping, and the pool would be a great amenity if it were operational again. Also, the food could be better and would love to see a salad bar option available.

My wife and I have been residents at the Villa village (15 units)for a little over 1 year. We relieved a warm welcome from other residents however we received little or no orientation into Villa life and the relationship to the other residential buildings or the function of the office and the central kitchen. We learned later that there was a complete change in staff the day we moved in. In addition the United Methodist label was removed from all signage and literature. These changes had all the signs of affiliation change. After examination of the new lease agreement I noted no real change in the agreement that I signed. We have been reasonably happy at Magnolia Manor of Macon. My expense has taught me to be cautions at corporate change especially at annual lease agreements. Stay tuned.
