We have been most impressed at the care our dad has received at Friendship Village. The staff there appears to love their work. The care has been top notch. The care has also been wonderful. Entering Friendship Village is very accommodating and accessible. We can't say enough how happy we have been with the care at Friendship Village. Our dad also required 24 hour skilled nursing and Friendship Village is one of the few facilities that offers that care.

My parents lived and died here and I just want to go some place different.

It's great. My mom loves it! Everything is just perfect for her. The cleanliness is a 6! It's still sticker shock, the whole thing, but from what I've seen I think the value is still good. Overall, it's exactly what she though she was getting into.

My mother is in Memory Care at Newcastle Place Mequon. She was also in the rehab area. I am very satisfied with her care. The building and grounds are beautiful. The meals are very good and there are choices if the main entree is an item not preferred. The physical therapy is excellent. What I like the most is the activities people. They really work at keeping the patients engaged. I also like the availability of a beautician as mom is old school and likes to get her hair done. The care staff is kind and the management answers questions and concerns quickly. The cost is a little pricey but it’s worth it to me for the excellent care she gets. I gave the care services 4 1/2 stars instead of 5 because I would like to see a dentist, doctor or physicians assistant, and podiatrist be available periodically.

My wife and I have lived in Abbey Delray South in Delray Beach, Florida, a life care community, for 18 years. We can honestly say it was the best decision we have ever made. Our two-bedroom, two-bath apartment overlooking a small lake and wonderfully maintained grounds provide a life style filled with close friendships, dedicated personal care and a sense of security. What made us choose this community were the welcoming residents who created that intangible feeling of belonging right from the day we moved in. There is much to do if you want or not and opportunities abound for social and intellectual experiences. All contribute to our happier and healthier life.

Both of my parents lived in FV and now my dad is in the care center. The staff is wonderful. Kind, caring, and ready to undertake and unusual assignment that will help dad and his family. Here's what I sent to [name removed], a social worker at the care center. To explain, I live out-of-state and doing my dad's taxes can sometimes be a challenge. [name removed]: I would like to express my deep appreciation to you for your help in resolving my Dad's W-2 problem. It might seem as if you did very little, but I assure you that I, and Dad, are very, very grateful. Although I usually can't get him by phone, my mind is often comforted when I remember that caring, dedicated professionals like you are attending to Dad. Friendship Village is simply a wonderful institution and the reason for that is people like you who work there. I Once again, thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for your help.

Things are working out pretty well here. They are giving my loved one good care. It's clean, and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that they took longer than they said to get someone to hang the drapes.

Other families, need to understand how the life care contract works. I would recommend Village on the Green.

My Mom is really thriving there after my father's death. She has made lots of friends and is very active in social groups and activities, and we are a bit surprised by that. I think socialization is encouraged by both the staff and the layout of the facility, and the residents are very friendly and welcoming.

I would recommend Meadow Lake to others. We picked them because of the location, overall facility environment, tour staff were not pushy, all of my questions were pleasantly answered

I have already recommended the Craig to several people. My in-laws like it there. They wish the food was a little more like home made but it would not be as healthy

We had some frustrations with nursing staff communications at first but staff have since changed and seems better. Activities staff are great and my aunt goes to alot of the activities. NP visits in house every 2 months are great and they have PT/OT in house which is nice

Our loved one has acclimated well into the community and appears to like his caregivers and fellow residents

I toured The Craig Senior Living and the community was nice, with very nice people who showed me around. We chose another community because The Craig does not accommodate or accept those who smoke. Once we were told that, we didn't feel the need to look further into their community.

This community was very comparable with another community that I went with. Just when I weighed things out there was another community that I was more favorable of.

We had a virtual tour with Friendship Village since it was in the middle of the pandemic. It was a nice facility but it was too big for my loved one. It was also hard to get a good feel for is since it was over video.

They're short of help, all the way around. That's the main challenge. Sometimes it's hard to find a nurse on the nursing floor. But I really like the assisted living building. They're very good with their activities and keeping their people up to date on things. I had one relative move to the wellness center from assisted living, and I would not do that if you can avoid it. They don't have the activities, and they're kind of isolated in wellness.

The Craig is a good place. The pandemic has changed several things for including the food. The food is being delivered to the residents now. The community has several activities for the residents to choose from outside of the pandemic.
