we gave the overall value for cost a 4 out of 5 because it is very expensive. However the Newcastle Place community is very clean, updated, and pleasant quality of the apartment and facilities overall. Staff friendliness. My father feels like this is finally a home after leaving his independent living home

I have been a resident of Abbey Delray South for almost 2 years. I find it warm and inviting, and the residents are like family, who watch out for each other, especially for those who like me have no biological family nearby. There are multiple activities, lectures, and religious services for all different interests and abilities. The grounds and walking path are nature-loving and can be viewed from every apartment window. I would recommend ADS very highly.

The staff is wonderful and friendly. Part of the reason we came here as, when looking, the residents were friendly, offered to answer questions. We have many amenities many place don't have. A bridge director with duplicate twice a week, free classes in painting, beading, etc. the food is good and almost to plentiful. The have entertainment many nights with lecturers and singers also 2 times a month bingo and trivia alternating. Did I mention there are lots of things for the men? A men's club that meets monthly a pool room. Poker games etc! Bussed to plays if you wish (if course you buy your own tickets). Also if you don't drive you can be driven to Drs appts. We aren't nickel and dimed like many places. Everything is included. Weekly house. Keeping. Linens sent out weekly. We have lovely grounds. Many have dogs and have a great place to walk them! Outside bocce shuffleboard and a pretty putting green. Inside pickle ball. Good and many exercise classes. A library a 5 star health center And as I said best of all the other residents. My husband and I have a free standing villa and drive around the grounds in out golf cart. Probably forgot some things. We came here thru your Place For Mom and the girl we worked with was very helpful.

The overall value for cost is really good - now they are in the process of changing hands so we will just have to wait and see if the value changes at all. Our loved one really likes the meals and dining service, there have been no complaints there. There are plenty of different activities going on nearly everyday - sometimes our loved ones forgets but they do a great job sending our monthly newsletter's, calling the residents, and posting them on the calendar. Based on our experience so far we would recommend The Craig Senior Living community to other families.

The service is good and everyone is friendly. The food smells good, and my loved one is eating well. They offer a lot of activiites, but my loved one does not participate yet. They do a wonderful job. They offer 24 hour care and they are doing very well. Anytime there is any changes, they always call and let me know what's going on. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

They're awesome at this facility. My mom is very happy here. Everything has been above and beyond our expectations. She's been able to use their transportation services and it's been great. She was on time and no issues, she said it was great. She really is pleased with everything here. We made a great choice and couldn't ask for more. I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

We are very impressed with how friendly all of the residents are here. The staff is also phenomenal. The apartment sizes are spacious, beautiful, and they totally renovate them before you move in. I would absolutely recommend The Waterford for others.

This is a very nice and friendly place. The staff are friendly and always seem to be helpful with my loved one. They have activities like social gathering, art, outings for the residents to get out into the community and more for the residents to stay busy. My loved one really likes the community and the food that they have here.

We chose Oak Trace becuase they have a locked in rate structure moving from independent to dependent living. The room sizes are awesome, they have a lot of variability and they are building a new tower right now. The overall quality of the facility is really nice, it is centrally located, and the people have been nice, warm, and welcoming. I would recommend to others looking.

I would tell others to move in. The whole environment is a great experience, it is like going to an all inclusive resort. Everything is at your fingertips. The residents and staff are friendly. My loved one likes bridge, cocktail hour, book club, and more are available for the residents to choose from.

We recently moved my mom from a different assisted living residence to Newcastle Place . I'm so glad we made the change. These are the things that stand-out to me regarding Newcastle from the perspective of a daughter responsible for making this decision for her mother: 1) Positive vibe and energy, lots of light in community areas, 2) Staff did an excellent job assisting in making the transition as smooth as possible and helping my mom settle in, 3) Staff promptly responds to my communications, 4) Good communication of community updates, etc., 5) Nursing staff actively learned mom's health status and keeps me informed, 5) They have a chapel, which my mom appreciates. Overall, I really like Newcastle. I think it is well-run, efficient, and I feel confident my mom is in good hands.

The isolation caused y the pandemic caused me to look for a senior apartment where I would have contact with people. I made an appt at The Waterford after touring other facilities. It was night and day. Everyone I saw greeted me. The team is extraordinary, friendly, helpful, and help your name The Waterford is extremely cautious. Masks required. Temp was taken before entering property, dining room. Lots of activities and exercises with seniorTV.

We moved my Mother to Newcastle Place in 2020 and could not be happier. It's like a family- they treat her with respect and have strict protocols in place to keep her and all the residents as safe as possible during the pandemic. They have been very good with keeping up with the guidance and making sure the staff are not bringing anything with them to work. It's so nice to know that my Mom is safe and happy. She gets happy hour and food delivered to her room until it is safe to dine in the dining room with others. She has been able to attend Mass and go to the beauty shop on the premises and that is a big relief in not having to worry about screening places. She even received her vaccine without having to go anywhere or help figure it out. The food is phenomenal and they treat her like royalty.

I have been very happy with this community. They are very family-oriented and take the time to get to know the residents. they always have lots of activities for the residence. I would recommend this community to others

So far our overall experience with this community has been excellent. Our loved one loves the staff members there. With COVID the food is being delivered to their rooms, and the quality of the food is not as good as what it used to be when they could eat in the dining room.

We moved from Arizona to Newcastle Place three years ago. We didn’t know a soul! In that short time, our community has become our second family. In early March, Covid hit! Everything changed quickly! The dining room along with all group activities and the gyms and pool ——all closed! We were isolated. No visitors. Yes, it has been very difficult for many of the residents. Very quickly, the entire staff at Newcastle jumped into action. We were offered many exercise classes on TV given by Patrick, our fitness director as well as yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation. We were offered so many craft and puzzle choices, all supplies. A couple of nights a week, cocktails were delivered to our door——many things were done by the staff to cheer us up. Even though we were isolating and wearing a mask anytime we did leave our apartment, we never felt alone. You could walk outdoors or in the halls and find someone to talk to. There are so many advantages to living in a community.

Our mom is at Newcastle Place in assisted living. She is very happy and being well taken care of. Also, no Covid infections from staff or residents. That is awesome. Keep up the great work. It is a relieve to know mom is safe and comfortable.

My name is [name removed] and I have lived here at Oak Trace for almost a year now. After a very easy move into the building thanks to the services that Oak Trace provided, I quickly felt at home. They take fabulous care of us. I love my apartment and the layout is perfect for my needs. The unit cleaning that is completed is very helpful & thorough. The food is fantastic and is very convenient. I especially like that the menu changes on a daily basis and there are a variety of delicious choices always provided. In addition to the food, they have a variety of classes and group activities here at Oak Trace, as well as a bus that is available to take us around town to a variety of outside activities such as movies, plays, grocery shopping, and other recreational activities. There are also multiple exercise options which were very important to me when considering my move. There are programs on TV, in person group classes, as well as a fitness room for our convenience. With the Coronavirus, many of these options have been changed, but the staff here at Oak Trace have taken fabulous care of us during this time, there are temperature checks, extra cleaning, increased social distancing, and TV alerts instilled to keep us safe. I have felt very safe here, and have been more than happy with my move.
