I originally toured in Sept. 2018 for Respite Care and they were remodeling their Memory Care unit so I was not comfortable leaving my husband there. I thought the manager, [name removed], was very helpful and I toured again in November 2019 and decided this is the place for my husband to stay. He just started [date removed] and the transition went very smoothly.

There are so many things we liked about this facility: lots of care put into the design for Memory Care residents. There’s a town [removed] Street with different areas for activities, music, movies, exercise class, a fireplace seating area, a snack area/seated activity area, a spa room where residents can take a bath in a soothing & safe environment, and several other smaller & quiet areas to roam and sit. The staff seemed happy and involved, which translates to the residents. There was a caring & homey feel to the place. Updated rooms, good sixes for either single or double occupancy. 2 smaller intimate dining rooms for each wing of residents, and just a short walk to Main Street area which is really well-thought out so no one is far or cut off from others. Definitely one of the contenders for us in our choice.

I've been here 1 1/2 years and I love it. The staff is wonderful. I feel very safe and secure. The residents are very friendly. It is close to a lot of shopping, doctor, dentist, etc. The kitchen has a lot to be desired. The food is pretty much OK. But it takes a LONG time to get it.

This is a beautiful facility that has a very warm, inviting atmosphere. Our contact was very welcoming, friendly and took time to show us each of the different levels of communities. This would be great for Independent Living or Type A Assisted Living where there is no need for outside doors to be secure. They did have all levels of care, but was outside of our budget.

Love the activity program. The size of out community is wonderful - helps us know everyone.

I moved my parents into Parkwood's Assisted Living wing two months ago. Dad was very frail on Hospice and losing weight & Mom has Alzheimers. The staff at Parkwood couldn't be more friendly and attentive to my parent's needs. Dad has gained 3 pounds since moving in and his doctors and nurses all agree that moving into Parkwood was the right decision. Both Mom and Dad are very happy and content here, and that makes me happy.

My mother in law’s health has improved with her medicines being administered to her daily. She and we are enjoying the amenities and services provided at the Sterling and we look forward to many good comfortable years for our loved one at the Sterling.

SP is a great place to be. Good people are here to help you most of the time! Wifi people drilled into the pipes on 3rd floor and water poured into my apt on 1st floor. 2 days later - it happened again from 2nd. More flooding. They offered me another apt. Movers moved furniture to apt. There are many activities available-exercising, entertainment, outings and speakers. A wonderful place to call home! I'm back at my apt.!

This community is very clean and welcoming. The staff is very attentive. We love seeing Grandma so happy.

I was here for rehab stay after surgery. The therapy was amazing and got me back on my feet in 20 days I would recommend this rehab to others.

My stay here was very nice. Everyone was very good to me. Nurses, and CNA's, PT and OT was the best in the world! I would recommend Parkwood!
