Clarendale has been such a blessing for my Mom, from the very start! She is very independent and we needed to get her moved into a place where she could do activities, exercise, go to bible study and meet /visit with other people. She went on a virtual tour and was able to see the whole building inside and outside! She fell in love with the place. The transition has been so smooth, and the all staff has been so good to her! She loves the food, says it is always fresh, hot, and very tasty! Whenever she has a question about anything it is taken care of immediately. The staff has always been so friendly and helpful to me whenever I call. I live out of state, but know my Mom is in “perfect” hands at Clarendale!

I have two grandmothers who are both at this facility. They previously lived at a different facility, and we are so glad they have transferred to Greenwood Village South. All of the people are so kind and respectful and truly care about the well-being of those living at the facility. Everyone is helpful and we know they are willing to go above and beyond to take care of any issues that may arise. I would highly recommend GVS to anyone searching for an assisted living facility.

We really liked that this community was smaller, and it would be more hands on attention. The rooms are very nice, they are big enough, however they could use more natural light to make them brighter. Our loved one things the food is horrible, it's sometimes cold by the time it gets to her room. If the kitchen staff has already done dishes sometimes its hard for her to get another dish to warm up her meal. Besides that the care services are excellent.

The food could be improved. I would like more soft foods, due to me being on a pureed diet before. They have bingo as an activity. The staff is friendly. The community backs to a wooded area. The outdoor areas are lovely.

My mom is very happy here. She has been a resident for 4 years. She was in independent and recently moved to assisted. She loves the food here. The staff is amazing.

I would tell my friends that it is an excellent place to be, but you have to be careful. The is expensive, but you don't get your value. The staff and residents were very nice. The room was good. My only drawback was that the community went on lock down during my time there due to COVID. I don't think there was anything wrong that.

Clarendale has provided wonderful care for my mother for 2.5 years. I am especially happy with the assisted living department.

I've lived here in the community since 2011. Greenwood Village South was one of my best decisions. It's truly a gift to find a place that takes the time and effort to make sure every encounter is positive and done with a smile. I definitely recommend GVS to anyone looking for a superior community to call home.

My Dad has lived at The Delaney South Shore for a year. I've been so impressed by the overall environment and excellent care provided even for an independent living resident. My Dad has fallen in his apartment and one of the staff stayed with him making sure to reach family, wait for a private caregiver to arrive and then make phone calls to us about everything that happened! That is not an included benefit but they just do it because they care! It's just continued over and beyond with everyone there from the moment you call or come in everyone is kind and you can feel the positive energy. Over the past 6 months with the pandemic I've been especially blown away by the fact not one case of Covid-19 and the communication along the way to family has been given when any changes occur. Sure, my Dad isn't happy about what is going on but he's safe and well provided for during this difficult time. I've really come to realize over the last six months especially that you can look pretty from the outside as they do because the community is so new and like a 5 star resort but at the end of the day it's the people that truly make it top notch. I highly recommend The Delaney for anyone searching for Senior Living for their parent or loved ones - you see what people are really made of in difficult times when squeezed they say what's real comes out and WOW - they have shown that every employee is there for the senior residents and their best interest.

I've been meaning to leave a review for a while. What a lovely place! The director, [name removed], was delightful. My mother-in-law was impressed with the COVID precautions. It's real and many elders have underlying conditions it is nice to see the virus being taken seriously (masks and people keeping surfaces clean). It's a challenging time to consider a move to a facility and this once is at the top of our list.

My mom is happy which makes me happy! It gives me such peace of mind to know she is safe and getting the care she deserves. The staff is so caring and dedicated. My mom has made many friends and participates in activities, she never would have before. She likes the food too and is happy not to cook. As she often says, "what's not to like about living here?" I agree!
