I put a deposit down and was ready to move my loved one into this community. This was a very nice community but it was way to much community for my loved ones needs. It was just too overwhelming for my loved one. The staff were very good to me and refunded the money and did everything that we needed. This community had fine dining and a very attractive environment. It was just better suited for active individuals.

[name removed] the intake coordinator was absolutely wonderful. She kept up and would check in with me all the way until my dads passing. I was very impressed with her and this facility.

We had a great tour experience with The Delaney and really liked the facility, but we could not give it much thought because they told us there were no openings at the time we were needing to place my loved one.

I've been very happy with Richmond Place. They've been very accommodating. My dad had some health issues, and they've been in constant contact with me and have been helpful in providing information on additional services that he may or may not need.

My 97-year-old father is a happy resident of the Manor at GVS. We started checking out facilities last spring after he had a fall at home. Our tour of the Manor confirmed his already high opinion from many years of visiting friends and relatives there. He wanted to remain in his home of 70 years, but also be ready when he could no longer live alone. In late August a painful bruised rib put him in ER and he decided to go into rehab at [community removed]. The excellent care and attention there convinced him to move into assisted living at the Manor as soon as he was able. He has been at the Manor since [date removed] where he enjoys the excellent food and friendly atmosphere along with worry-free care and assistance from dedicated nurses, aids, household and dining staff. It’s been a great move!

I loved this community. It was amazing but it was out of my loved ones budget. The tour was wonderful residents looked happy just something that would not work out for us being on private pay.

After having a terrible experience elsewhere, we were very diligent on making sure we found the right place for Mom. Once my call was completed after talking with [name removed], I told my siblings this is the place for Mom- When we visited the community, [name removed] and [name removed] just confirmed this the original feeling. It like walking into A 10 star hotel. Now that Mom has settled in, the experience is just as what we thought it would be and that is Simply fantastic.!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone at Clarendale!!!

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was amazing, it is a beautiful community. It came down to the location and it was just to far away.

My dad was very impressed with Rose Senior Living. The facility is top of the line, new, and sparkly. He just felt another place we looked into fit what we were looking for a little better.

This community has it all. The residents we spoke to had nothing bad to say, clean, well manicured and every single staff member we met were kind and helpful. But, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention [name removed] their sales director. What a beautiful person. She not only represented the facility well, she supported us at the hospital, rehab and hospice. Unfortunately mom passed, and not how we hoped this would go. She embodied the true spirit of what should be done for our elderly. Everyone should visit this community!

This community was okay but too big for my loved one and felt like she would get lost in the community. The tour was excellent just to big for my mother.

It is an excellent place and very friendly, great food.

The staff pays close attention to the residents and communicates well with the family members. So far they've been taking great care of our loved one. He can be very picky about food, but he loves the food here. The cost is comparable to all the other places we looked at. Sometimes I wish his bathroom was a little bit cleaner, but the facility is clean overall.

Our staff members are all pleasant and caring. Our food is unusually good and varied. Our housekeeping is regular and efficient. Our entertainment is frequent and enjoyable with some seasonal and original games. We have weekly live music with snacks and our favorite table games with expected regularity. You can expect Parkwood to truly feel like your home!

My Mom has been here over a year. Everyone on staff has been so kind and welcoming. She has made some new friends, loves the food and has become very fond of many of the staff members. The facility is beautiful-clean and we’ll maintained. Would highly recommend Clarendale of Algonquin!

They're doing great. If you have to put your family member in assisted living, it's a good place. Whenever you're placing your loved one in senior living, the biggest lesson I learned is it's probably a good idea to make sure there's a continuum of care on into assisted living and even memory care, all in one place. I like that they have a nurse on-site 24 hours. The staff are friendly and helpful. Activities are kind of limited. But I think it's a good value, especially with that 24-hour care.

My loved ones liked the community due to the community feeling safe, kind, and calmness to it. This is clean and lovely environment. The meals are able to be delivered to the resident's rooms or eat in the dining room. My loved one like the food, it could be a little bit fancier in some ways for my loved one. They are starting to bump the fanciness of options for meals up for the residents. They have shopping experiences, musicians, and more activities for the residents to choose from. The director is caring and supportive and are open to feedback from the resident's families.

From the moment we first visited Parkwood my Mom & I were so impressed! Lovely apartment floor plans, great grounds & clubhouse and caring employees. Mom has made so many new friends and stays busy with all the fun activities. Mom hasn't been this happy in a long time! It's such a relief for our entire family. Might seem crazy, but this is my genuine, honest opinion of Parkwood. Cannot speak highly enough of this facility!

I have lived at Parkwood for several years now and I can honestly say I made a great decision. I enjoy living here. I have made a lot of friends. I feel very safe. I enjoy the food and everyone is very nice. I like my apartment. I gladly recommend Parkwood!
