I first came across StoneRidge five years ago when I was at Avalon, the Skilled Nursing Center recovering from complicated knee surgery. I was soon given a tour of the place and fed a delicious meal. I could not leave my beautiful home, overlooking the Long Island Sound and with all its memories. Neither did my dog have any interest in moving. Finally, it was time. While selling my house was painful moving into StoneRidge 7 months ago was not. So here I am, in my top floor apartment, with a lovely guest room, large windows overlooking all the activity below and forest in the background. There are many good features at StoneRidge. I no longer have to deal with repair men, electricians, plumbers etc. The food goes from good to excellent. But what is truly first class is service. It seems that all the staff goes out of their way to be courteous, efficient and friendly. Finally, I could say I probably should have moved here sooner. (name removed)

I think that whoever puts someone in The Delaney should be a vocal advocate for that person. If you notice something, speak up, because they are willing to work with you. You just have to get to the right person. They're a new community and have only been open for about a year, so they're still in that learning phase. Like with the meals, they are unable to do a renal diet. So, you have to put the foods in that your loved one can't eat as a listed "allergy". But then in my example, I noticed mashed potatoes on her plate still. When I mentioned it to the nurse and the servers, they said they'll speak directly with the chef to have it switched to rice. I think they take good care of everyone and they keep them in a safe environment. I don't have to worry about my mom getting hurt or anything like that.

Pomperaug Woods has been a wonderful experience for my mother. The accommodations are lovely, safe, and thoughtful. Staff have been friendly and warm, and the community offers delightful meals and activities. It has been a pleasure to know my mother is in an environment where she is well thought of and well looked after. I highly recommend Pomperaug Woods.

i have had family and friends join the Pomperaug Woods community. it's programs, administration and staff are caring and engaged, responsive to the ever changing needs of its clientele. A healthy sign is its low staff turnover and the fact that staff knows the clientele on a first name basis. We are lucky to have a community of this quality available in our locale.

My Dad has lived here for about a dozen years and says it is the best decision he ever made. He's made friends. He participates in many activities. The staff is terrific. Everyone is attentive to the needs of the residents As well, it is comforting to know that if Dad ever needs nursing care, it is right there on the other side of the building.

I liked the community but with the family decision we were swayed to another direction with another community. This was a good tour it was just not the environment that we were looking for.

We really enjoyed our tour experience with Clarendale of St. Peters. The facility was beautiful and everyone was extremely nice. It was our second choice only due to the higher price.

If I could give them 10 out of 10 stars, I would. They overdelivered on our expectations each and every contact or interaction with any of the staff members from the maintenance to the receptionist to the medical team was absolutely perfect. They went above and beyond with communication with our family. My loved one was under hospice care when he arrived and the whole experience with them was so helpful and comforting. The room layouts could not have been better, they had a full kitchen, living room, and you could see into the bedroom from the living area which made it more comfortable for us when we would visit for hours. I would recommend Rose Senior Living at Clinton Township to others without a doubt.

This was a very, very nice community.

I was very pleased with the people that we dealt with. They were very friendly and helpful during the tour and it made for a pleasant transition. The staff are very helpful with any questions or concerns the family has. The meals and dining is good for my loved one. Laundry, linen changes, all meals, housekeeping, and all the room are included in the monthly price.

My Dad, who died just after turning 96, was a WWII veteran & firefighter for 38 years. He LOVED every day he lived at Richmond Place — for approx. 11 years in Independent Living. He told me many times it was the best decision to move there, but it did require a bit of nudging by my brother and me in the beginning. Dad loved his apartment, meals, day trips, church services, musical events, holiday celebrations/cook-outs, serving as a member of the house council, & playing poker with his friends. My brother and I were so thankful for all the staff at RP and how they treated our dad — sales, front desk, kitchen/dining room, maintenance, housekeeping, transportation, wellness, and administration. I rarely saw someone, staff or resident, in the building Dad didn’t introduce me to — he knew everyone. From time to time, Dad spoke with prospective residents & would always highly recommend RP as a wonderful place to live. My brother and I highly recommend it was a great home for our Dad.

My wife and I have been residents in independent living here for almost five years. We are very pleased to be here. The friendliness of the other residents, as well as the staff makes us feel right at home. During the recent Covid outbreak the staff took all precautions to protect us, including delivering meals to our home. There are daily activities, including adult educational opportunities, as well as outdoor activities including a swimming pool and bocce. The evenings have entertainment and movies. We enjoy the food and the company of good friends.

Although my loved one has since passed away, we thoroughly enjoyed the time spent at The Avalon of Bloomfield Township. The staff is friendly, the community is clean, the food is AMAZING, and the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The Activity Director is great with the residents. Most of the residents we saw when visiting looked very independent despite some needs that we may not be aware of. Definitely recommend to anyone looking.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure my loved one was comfortable. He enjoys the meals. He loves the activities. They offer tai chi, walks, bible, concerts, movies, as well as dog therapy are some of the activities he enjoys. Age ranges seem 70s and older. Housekeeping comes once a week. Laundry services are done weekly as well. They allow me to bring my dog in to visit my loved one. He enjoys that. The one thing they could improve on is allowing family to dine with their loved one during meal times. I understand the reason they don't because of covid, I look forward to that changing with time.

When my husband was 93 years of age he needed occupational care. After visiting several communities it seemed that The Delaney would fit our needs. So on my 90th birthday in [date removed] we moved to Assisted Living at The Delaney. We were certainly satisfied with the care arrangement but after 1.5 years at the Delaney my husband of 72 years passed away. I then moved to Independent Living at The Delaney because I didn't need Assisted Living. Now I am glad to go for meals in the Dining room, have weekly housekeeping, take part in many activities or visit with friends-or just relax in my apartment and work on my family history. After four years of residence I am still enjoying peace of mind, satisfaction and protection in living here.

Green Country Village truly is my home. when my husband and I moved here in [date removed], little did we know that three months later we would learn that [name removed] has terminal leukemia. due to severally abnormal blood counts - especially low white blood cells, he could not be here at GCV. I was never "alone" here. I was in double jeopardy now as Covid was raging and we were isolated in two different places. but GCV stepped up and became my family! I cannot say enough good about them.

This facility is the best facility I have personally ever been in. The staff is so kind/helfpul and the food is great! Everything was clean and had such a lovely smell as you walked down the hallway. The Calendar for events looked so nice and looked to me like there was something for just about everyone. I love the outings they had planned. Great experience and worth taking a look for yourself.

The dining room service, and all the staff are super nice. I trust the community to take care of my loved one. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones as well. You can tell they really tell they care about the residents. Cable, utilities, 300 points for food, housekeeping, maintenance, transportation, and room is included in the monthly fee. The independent living have washer and dryer, and a full kitchen in the apartments. My loved one loves the food, there is a wide selection of food, and it is delicious tasting. There are lots of outdoor space available for walking, sitting areas, gardening area, and porches. Plays, lunches outside of the community, bingo, dominos, poker, happy hour, movies, singing of hymns, bible study, arts and crafts, service projects, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from.
