I was looking for some help with my mother who lives with me and my husband. We were looking at all options including in-home personal care and assisted living. I spoke with several places in Lexington. [name removed] with Richmond Place was one of two that followed up with me. Once I decided that maybe I needed to wait, the others stopped checking. [name removed] followed up with me regularly via text and calls. She made me feel very comfortable with asking questions and just supported me. We eventually decided to go with in-home personal care and [name removed] and [name removed] were amazing with helping get us set up. I will recommend Richmond Place to anyone who needs help with elder parents. Thank you.

My 91 year old dad spent almost a month at Autumn Leaves for mobility support after a fall at home. He received great therapy while there and the team of care providers were professional and compassionate. [name removed], in particular, went above and beyond and gave us so much support. We are grateful for the care he received. My only suggestion is that the facility could be better maintained. But the staff and experience was positive and we appreciate that.

In October 2021, my mom relocated to The Gardens at Freedom Village. For many reasons—dementia, resistance to moving, and leaving her home of 50 years—we expected Mom’s move to be challenging. The entire staff created a transition plan: a clear contract, quick turnaround on her room, and receiving Mom on her terms on move-in day. While never easy, Mom’s reaction to the move and her adjustment overall were much better than we had hoped—all because of the care demonstrated by the staff. Within her first week, Mom was seen onsite by her new physician. Her flu shot and COVID boosters were given, and she was accompanied to a routine medical exam. Day-to-day, the staff helps her select clothing, schedules a haircut at the salon, or even chooses menu items, all while preserving her independence and dignity. Because of the professionalism, personal interest, and patience of [name removed] and [name removed]—both of whom are tremendous assets to Freedom Village—Mom is transitioning well.

They are understaffed due to the pandemic. The staff are good at caring for my loved one. The management was good at accommodating any reasonable requests and very caring. The community works well with hospice care. They get to know all the resident's first name.

If you are looking for a home for your loved one where as promised they take loving care of them, this is it! My mom is in memory care and from the CNA's to [name removed], the "activities coordinator", to Mark the "marketing" person, and the 24 hour nurses, everyone is working to make your loved one's life as comfortable and interesting as possible. I used quotes because regardless of title, the entire staff does everything possible to make residents feel safe and content, as if they are they only resident there. Additionally, there is no institutional food here. The chef creates delicious food and always offers substitutes .

We chose Monticello West because of the close proximity to where I live as well as the lady who walked us through was very knowledgeable. Everything she shared sounded like what we needed, especially the value for the money. What I really like is that the caregivers are assigned to the residents, so they don't have new people coming in to care for them everyday. They just have 4 people they work with throughout the week on a rotated schedule. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

My mother was in skilled nursing from Oct.27-Nov.23 2021. I had done a good bit of research and Autumn Leaves had gotten excellent scores from Medicare and other non biased sources. They did not disappoint. The facility may not be the shiniest but the cleanliness and professional staff more than made up for it. My family and I came often and saw firsthand the patience and kindness of the staff. The nurses were quick to address Mothers pain and treated her with dignity & respect. Mom had injuries from a fall so physical therapy was essential. The PT staff were excellent & a big part of Moms recovery. The Director of Nursing was available to us to answer any concerns at any hour and that really made our family feel comfortable. It is hard to relinquish care of a loved one to others but I can sincerely say our time at Autumn Leaves was the best possible experience. We are a grateful group!

My mom has lived at south port for some time and we couldn’t be happier. Not only do they take good care of her, she has blossomed because of the staff. Everyone from dining to the directors are dedicated to the residents thriving. Mom has made friends, goes on outings and attends activities. She even made a wreath (my mother never crafted). We owe a debt of gratitude to everyone at south port.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Tour was very thorough, all areas clean and living area spacious with a good view.

I have had the privilege of working at Autumn Leaves for almost 2 years. We have an incredible therapy team who really focus on allowing each patient to reach their full potential.

The team at Signature Pointe were very helpful and knowledgeable to meet any concerns or questions. They took pride in ensuring that the whole process was as comfortable and informative as possible.

They're going through some renovations right now, so things are cluttered up temporarily But they're good at pretty much all they do. They provide a safe environment, and I like the convenience of close proximity to medical services in the area. I like that we can pick up our loved one and bring her home with us to visit if we want to. I love the staff and have had zero problems with them. The food is okay overall. If only they would stop putting so many onions on everything, then she would love it. Our one problem has been they told us the price would be the same for a year, and that wasn't the case. It went up after three months, which was kind of disappointing.

Signature Pointe is a wonderful facility / community full of loving, caring, fun, wonderful, amazing people. The staff are the best and genuinely care about and love the residents, and vice versa. The staff and residents enjoy each other. It’s truly an amazing thing to be a part of. My father moved there during the summer and I’ve gotten to spend a significant amount of time there. I toured other communities and there was no comparison. I’m truly grateful for signature Pointe and especially for the people who work there. I’m also grateful to have gotten to know so many of the residents. They are truly wonderful and have welcomed my father (and I) with open arms. It just feels good when your there. Thank you all at Signature Pointe.

I am a resident at Regency Oaks and love it here. I feel it was a very smart decision to move here. It is a great place for seniors who wish to stay social and busy. Our food is good with many choices. The grounds are beautiful and are kept in immaculate condition.

I had a virtual tour with The Heritage and the sales director walked me through the facility and was able to answer my questions and I was able to see the facility.

I toured Signature Pointe today, and everyone I met was absolutely a breath of fresh air. Between the staff and current residents, you can really tell how happy people are. Very clean when walking the halls, receptionist was very friendly, and it was peaceful. I’ll definitely have my mother here for rehab.
