I toured this facility and it was very nice! The staff was polite. The facility was clean. The residents seemed active. The cost of this facility was our concern.

She was not in here for very long, but it was a positive experience. They are very nice, and friendly and the facility itself is super clean. I really liked it. I would recommend The Delaney at Lake Waco to other families looking.

[name removed] was only at Rose for 5 weeks. Everything was great for that short time. Thanks to everyone who looked after my stepmother. They were awesome. A special thanks to the people at Hospice as well.

The food is terrible, but they are waiting to get a new chef. I woud like to see the quality, of the food improved. They have lots of great activities. It's great value for the money. I picked this community, because of the friendliness of the staff, and how clean it was.

I was recently diagnosed with ALS. My doctor gave me some recommendations for communities. The Delaney fits all my needs with the Doctor onsite and Home Health Resources to help me with small daily tasks. It is an added bonus that three meals a day are included. I will be moving in next month.

As an exercise teacher at several area senior living facilities, I have always been very impressed with Pomperaug Woods. PW feels warm, bright, and peaceful. However, as much as it feels peaceful, it is easy to see that it is a very vibrant community offering a wide range of activities to promote the well being of the residents mind, body and spirit such as a variety of exercise and art classes, shows, field trips... There are beautiful spaces that promote community interaction yet places one can retreat to read a book next to a cozy fireplace. Through conversation with my students, it is easy to see it is a place they feel very happy living at. The staff are very friendly and respectful in their interactions with the residents. My Mom, who is 85, has attended a couple of events PW hosted and she told me that PW is a place she can easily see herself transitioning to. I know as her daughter, I would feel comforted to know it would be her new home.

I have been entertaining at Pomperaug Woods for over 30 years. I have always found the staff and community to be exceptional. The level of activities is superb. It is easily one of the premier facilities in the state.

[name removed] has been attentive and helpful above and beyond my expectations. She returns calls promptly and always has or obtains the information I request. She is pleasant and has an affable personality and a discreet but pleasant sense of humor. I’m still working with her to obtain a place at Danbury Inverness and she is still spot-on helpful, patient, and pleasant.

The staff are always helpful. He is a meat. Food is mediocre warm when they get. I've had lunch there a few times. The dining room is always clean, but he does not always like the meals. Because he is I'm Memory Care they bring it up from main kitchen in a warmer. He has asked for something else before and they will oblige if they have it.

I'm lucky enough to perform music at Pomeraug Woods and I am impressed with the care I see given at this community. The environment is clean and cheery, and because I play many Senior Communities, I get asked, from time to time, for recommendations. Pomeraug is one of the Senior Communities that I recommend when people ask me about this type of care.

Change is HARD!! It was difficult leaving our lovely home after 46 years. In short — it was the best decision we ever made and we could not be happier! Life simply does not get any easier as the years go by and making the big, bold decision to move to Cypress Glen was the right one for us! I could not imagine a more positive, supportive, or smooth transition to our new home than the one we just experienced! After just two months here we are enjoying truly a “new beginning “! From our initial call to Cypress for some basic information to our actual decision to make it our new home we received tremendous support from the marketing and move-in staff members. That kind of positive, loving support made our relocation to our new home that much sweeter! Cypress is the type of place where one can “thrive” and grow as an individual. I do believe that life is what we make it — and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead!!

South Port Square is simply wonderful. My granddad moved in after the hurricane and he is doing so well, making friends, gaining weight, and he loves his new home. We were worried how he would do, but every staff member from Sales to Housekeeping care about his well being. There's more to do than he has time to attend, and the food is yummy. We have witnessed the care staff encouraging and supporting grand dad, instead of doing it for him because it's easier. They support him emotionally and physically. That was very important to my Dad.

Based on our experience so far with Havenwood at Richfield community we would recommend them to other families. We thought the room here at Havenwood was the nicest in terms of size, amenities and even the pricing. The reason we gave the meals 3 stars is just going off feedback from our loved one - but we also know she can be pretty picky. Our loved one seems happy with the activities they have.

This place is awesome. They answer all questions. They have housekeeping once per week. This place is top notch. Everything has been fantastic. They have multiple activities. They have a daily schedule with activites. They offer a lot, for what you spend. They are there if my loved one needs anything. They are quick to respond, and they take care of the residents.

My Aunt is adjusting and enjoying the community. The food is good. They have good activities. It's good value for the money. We picked this community, because they had a two bedroom available, and we liked the way it was set up. They have provided very good care. We have been very happy. She is making new friends. I would recommend to other families, and have already done so.

I was in the building with asst living, everyday i would go over to asst living, peaceful, friendly, just a place I want to be, The team is just that, a team that works together for me, Dallas is outstanding, I hate not being home, but if I had any choice to live my life it would be Dallas, by the way check out the horse races ;)

They are doing the best that they can. We picked this community, because we really liked the staff, they were very informative. Also, when we went into the memory care unit we saw the interaction with the residents. They are responsive to our needs, and they communicate very well. They are sometimes short staffed, but the staff that has been there, has been good, and consistent.

Completing my one year anniversary at Sedgebrook I’ve experienced enough time to have met so many friends through dining and classes. The one thing that it’s taught me is you’re never alone. The staff has been so supportive to offer any assistance to all my needs or questions. I enjoy the day to day activities and never find a day that drags on. My summer months I spend a lot of time enjoying the beautiful grounds and surrounding area with the bike trail along the Des Plaines river path at our back door. I feel comfortable knowing we have a convenient medical center with a full time doctor on staff if ever I would need some medical attention. I would say in conclusion that this wa one of the smartest decisions one could make as a senior finding that with age comes wisdom!
