My mother and mother in law both lived there last year. We unfortunately lost both of them. Mine on [date removed] and mother-in-law, [date removed]. Both went peacefully and painlessly, and loved beyond belief. From the moment you arrive at Rose Senior Living, the place feels and looks special. Clean, bright, and inviting. Someone is always at the desk to greet you and log you in. The place looks clean and is. I think the food is quite good and getting better. (My wife secured a part time job in the kitchen and loves prepping good food for the residents.) Rooms are adequate and up to date. My mother loved it. And we wouldn't have moved my mother in law from Chicago , if we didn't think it was a good place for her. I'd give it a 4.5 overall. Haven't found the perfect place yet! But it's a very special place.

Clarendale is my choice of residences. Staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Management is available to residents and works very hard recruiting appropriate staff and efforts to overcome help shortages. I reside here because I am very satisfied with the overall operation.

I really didn't know what to expect in 'living' in a Senior Community. The best part is all of the things available, ie: meals, friendly staff (who seem to know everyone's names) and the friendly residents!

My mother had been living with me for six years. While living with me, she participated in life events: dinners with my kids and grandkids, outings, exercise classes, and dinners out through the local Senior Center. Her life was full. Last August, for a variety of reasons, my mom needed to move into Memory Care in Algonquin. I am happy to know that my mom's life continues to be full with the activities offered at Clarendale. I call my mom each week, (I live in Seattle, Wa). Because she participates in activities every day at Clarendale, we have things to talk about. She tells me about the 'horse racing' and the young 'fella' that leads the exercise class each morning. She tells me about going on a walk to another hall where they play instruments or sitting outside in the sun. She tells me about the concerts and the special guests that come to entertain. I can't imagine her life without the activities. I can tell each week that she is excited to have something to share with me. As we talked yesterday, I asked if she had played balloon volleyball lately. "Oh, no" she said, "We play another game now. We all sit in a circle and kick a very large...(she couldn't think of the word ball)....around. It is so much fun!" I asked her if they laugh while playing. "Oh, yes!!! Sometimes we kick the ball up and it lands on someone's head. We all laugh so much." And then she said this..."You know you're in a good place in your final years when there is such fun and laughter!" You're right, mom. And I am so grateful for the joy I sense in my mom's voice each week as we talk. I am so grateful for those that provide activities for my mom. Her life continues to be full.

We give The Delaney of Bridgewater 5 stars across the board. From our first visit through Mom's move in day, the staff members were superior and continues to be. They have a lot of different great activities for the residents like outings, bingo and exercise classes. The community is also spotless. Everyone always has smiles on their face - staff and residents alike

We had a great tour experience with Clarendale of Addison. The facility was absolutely beautiful inside and out, but unfortunately it was just too expensive for what my friend was going to be able to afford.

Based off of my personal experience here, I would recommend Clarendale at Indian Lake to others who are looking for retirement living.

Quality of care - Too soon to comment but so far so good Food - Mom says the food is quite good. Activities - Too soon to comment. Mom hasn't regained full mobility yet and so hasn't been able to participate Value for the money - probably too soon to comment because (a) we don't yet know her monthly care costs, and (b) related to above, she can't yet make the most of what Oakmont has to offer My only suggestion for Oakmont is that they improve upon their new resident orientation. I have done what I can at a distance over the phone, and I think Mom was a little disoriented/confused about routines and processes. Understandable given her age and her long hospital stays before moving to Oakmont. After a few weeks, things are falling into place and she is feeling more comfortable, but there was some avoidable anxiety along the way

Just visited Clarendale again with my 94-year-old mother, and she's finally decided to add her name to the waiting list for an apartment in Assisted Living. Huge decision, long in the making! I felt compelled to write this note to [name removed], the sales and marketing senior director, and want to share it here: [name removed], I want to thank you for our return visit today. Not just for dinner, which my mom really enjoyed, and the friendly visit with [name removed], a resident, who came over to our table to say hello, but especially for the long and compassionate conversation you had with my mother as we sat in the lobby before we ate. It was a beautiful thing, seeing you draw my mother out, listen to her concerns, treat her with respect, and give her as much time as she needed. I felt like crying. I’ve witnessed so many representatives of eldercare facilities talk to my mom as if she was a five-year-old when we've visited. You definitely don’t do that. I’m so impressed. Thank you so much.

My family is happy with the care our loved one is receiving at Rose Senior Living. The staff are helpful, compassionate, and kind. Everyone is friendly. The staff are responsive to the family's questions. Overall this is a community we would recommend to others for their loved ones.

Clarendale is the perfect place for all. Independent, asssited or memory care. The staff is wonderful, the residents are friendly, the activities varied, and the food is great.

Toured for my grandma. [name removed] was super helpful, knowledgable. Everyone was smiling and friendly. It was nice to see residents out and about everywhere. Building is beautiful and feels like home.

The building is well kept and very friendly staff.

We toured The Delaney at South Shore and this facility is lovely! It's just expensive. Everything was great, based off of our tour. We are very fortunate to have such an excellent selection and price ranges so close by!

Just a little added advice : I suggest you make your decision to move here while you can enjoy the dining,activities, and other services. That is, don’t wait until you are limited by an age related disability.

My husband and myself visited Freedom Square of Seminole. From first entering the sales office, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist and [name removed] Life Care Counselor.[name removed]was so efficient and professional. She had all the info we needed and more concerning the life care at this facility. We viewed a few apartments of different sizes and then were invited to a delicious lunch in the lovely dining room. The entire facility is clean and orderly. The staff are very friendly, and they all make you feel that you are an important part of the community.

There are other very nice assisted living places but one of the main reasons we chose Clarendale was [name removed]. She has a genuine care about her for your loved one. Her combined with the ambassador program and all of the activities put this place on top.

Richmond Place Independent Living is an aesthetically beautiful place with really nice apartments. The pool and grounds are lovely and inviting. There is a lot to do on site and transportation available for community outings. The staff is friendly, responsive and dedicated in all areas. The Ambassador Services are second to none when a little extra assistance is preferred/needed. My mother has been very happy here since 2015. Richmond place has been a true blessing to our family.

[name removed] gave us the tour and he was delightful! We would not choose this place though. No central air or individual laundry in the rooms for independent living. It was an older building.

We were very pleased with Marquette. We also have a few comments, which reflect on a rating of 4 for care services. For example, toward the end of my dad's life when he was beginning to receive hospice services, there was confusion and lack of communication regarding who did what. Specifically, Marquette was bringing him food, but he needed someone to help feed him. Both Marquette and Hospice said they didn't help feed Dad, and it took a few days to discover he needed another service (Marquette Cares) to help feed him. Also, there was confusion over reordering dad's meds on a timely basis. Several times I had to step in to prevent running out of a med. Lastly, Marquette in general had a full calendar of activities, but nothing on Sunday mornings.
