They work hard to make the place feel very welcoming. The staff seems to take this very seriously. The only down side that I observed is that the rooms haven't been updated recently, meaning they don't have some modern innovations like no-threshold showers or wheelchair accessible sinks.

Overall, I could not have been happier with The Delaney at Parkwood Lakes! My mom needed a place for 30-day respite care after falling ill visiting family in the area. Being from out of town she was worried and a bit scared about being in a place where she didn't know anyone. The aides in AL were so nice and took great care of her. She loved the activities and exercise classes and her room decor and furnishings were like new. The facility was spotless and the she enjoyed having coffee on the veranda in the mornings. They even stocked her bathroom with lemon verbena bath products. We did not expect her sudden illness and she had only one suitcase - and were not prepared for a long stay! Even the dishes they supplied were cheerful and fun. Overall, we thank everyone for literally rolling out an actual red carpet for her when she arrived and keeping that level of service for her stay. They got her back to health and she was able to return home and is continuing on the PT and OT recommendations they helped coordinate after leaving Katy Memorial. They made me feel so much better about having my mom in respite care - I knew she would be well taken care of the moment I met the staff.

I volunteered and as I come across residents I notice that they seemed happy and positive the workers seem to always be in good spirits and they always try to uplift their residents, always a happy smile on everyone faces and it’s nice and warming to see. They do a good job at making you feel welcomed!!

My dad loves the facility. The good is good, the staff are wonderful. It is very quiet. All the residents are super friendly and he has made a bunch of new friends. They have several activities you can choose from everyday so you aren't just sitting in your apartment all day. I highly recommend Parkwood!!!

Clean, professional yet fun atmosphere; great food themes, variety and choice selections; responsive maintenance team, residents very friendly. Wish they had an ambassador or buddy system; had to spend too much time trying to eventually set up laundry services

Living at Clarendale is an experience that is on going with all the pleasant experiences and happy residents. There are activities for all how wish to attend. There are movies both matinees and evening. We have bingo if that’s of interest to you also there is an art studio where I have learned about Diamond Art which I am enjoying very much. The cleaning of your apartment is done every two weeks and meals are prepared daily with special buffets. This is certainly a great example of senior living at its best!

The staff and residents are the most helpful. kind and caring that I have ever experienced. Everyone you see in hallways, dining rooms, very friendly and know you name. Physical therapists and occupational therapists are wonderful and encouraging to do better. It is the same with the nurses, aids, activities house keeping, maintenance business office concierge. A welcoming enjoyable new home.

What stood out the most was They were very quick to get my father in law to the hospital when he fell( repeatedly) and to notify us. He liked the food and they gave us a small apartment at our request as he hadn't used much of his old apartment.

Top notch facility. Great communication from Mem Care. flexible with loved one's dementia behaviors. Adaptable re: tweaking policy if they can. Ex. Here fam has to provide supplies. Hard for me to do physically - no car in city. They offered to order and bill me. ?? Ex. Pop through his plate in the dining room. They didn't restrict his access. They first tried to resolve the impact by seating him and his caregiver at a table at the end of Dr. that has worked well!! Also 2 dining rooms. Pop loves them. Eats there 2x day. Also visits social living area space 2x day. 2 happy hours week with the Assisted Living community. He loves to watch them dance etc...

We have a lot of construction right now to improve apartments and all activities areas. What I like most about the community are the people, and the things available to which will improve when construction is done. I would recommend this community to others if they can see past the construction. Of all the places I looked, this place had the largest apartments.

All staff seem to love their jobs and are very communicative with the families of the residents. The providers who visit the residents are all professional and take good care of their conditions. I would highly recommend this facility to others

What stood out the most - Caring environment, clean, encourages socialization, provides for everything my mom needs.

I am very happy with Clarendale. It is a well thought out space with two dining rooms, two living rooms, and a beautiful outdoor patio. The staff is attentive and kind. The food is good. My mother feels comfortable and safe there. We are happy with the choice. I think all of these places could use more hands (more staff), But it is very nice to have someone in charge of Memory Support to talk to when issues do arise. I would give Clarendale a 5.

What stood out the most is the friendly staff and my brother enjoyed the meals. I would recommend Freedom Village to others.

This is a great place to be. They have staff that have been there for many years. That means a lot. Everyone has access to many different resources things to do daily.

Everyone is so friendly...the facility is spotlessly clean...the venue outside is beautiful...and the billing is super transparent. My mom had a choice if 3 sizes and she took a mid-size 1 bedroom. Perfect size...so livable! The mantises are a highlight...they always have activities going on...they have a hairdresser on site...great dining room and food! And I am a very picky person!!!!

I liked that we have a key fab and can come and go anytime to see my mother in law. The facility is extremely clean. All of the staff are great whenever we are there and greet us. My mother in law has had no complaints about the food. She does not participate in any of the activities offered, but we are trying to get her to try them.

Staff is well trained and dedicated to each resident. They all seemed to have a love and passion for their work. Very willing to help and they become family. The facility is well maintained and clean inside and out. Beautiful and Enjoyable surroundings that accommodate many activities. Staff takes pride in their facility and duties.

We were pleased with our experience at Delaney at the Green when he was looking at various options and he is happy living there.

Much more smiles and vibrant people and activities than I had expected. All staff are outstanding.
