Our whole experience from start to when my mother moved in has been extremely positive. The place is immaculate, there are tons of interesting and diverse activities to choose from on a daily basis, the nursing staff is fantastic, especially the manager and director are outstanding! The place is super clean and smells good all the time!!

I would definitely rate them a 10 out of 5 overall, great place! the sales manager was more than just doing sales, she was so helpful and caring and continued to check in with us after dad was moved in, always helpful and stopped in to visit dad during the day! The director of the memory care unit also went above and beyond, she herself helped dad get from bed to chair, cleaned him and checked in with our family to make sure things were ok, she assigned her best caregivers to him as he needed more assistance all day, we had to walk by her office on our way to see dad and she was always available and gave us a hug if we needed. I cannot say enough positive things about her, she is what made us choose SPS. The nurses, caregivers, activity director, and even the room cleaner was so friendly, kind and helpful!

Initially we had some issues with my sister moving to a different location. The staff was very patient and accommodating through this transition. The room she was place in was large with all the amenities she needs. She is getting the care she needs and the facility and grounds are lovely and secure. [name removed] is very accommodating to answer any question that I have. I would recommend this facility very highly to take care of your loved one that needs memory care highly recommended.

Staff is very family friendly. There are a multitude of daily activities to participate in. Food is delicious and a large variety to pick from daily. The village is kept very clean . The apartments are quite roomy. And we even have our dog with us that makes us happy.

The overall experience and cleanliness of the community has been excellent. Very friendly and welcoming and it is independent living but the residents have access to nurses and doctors. The staff are very competent. There are plays, movies, dances, games, swimming, exercises and bus trips. The value for cost is very good and they have end of life care. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families.

Some of the best features are, the friendliness of the staff to residents and family and interaction between all of us. Clean, pleasant smell and attractive surroundings. Food is appealing and a varied diet, day trips and celebrations of different events. There is entertainment from different artists and projects, educational programs. art, exercise classes but also quiet time build in to talk and relax with each other. A great feature are the cameras that detect falls with a quick response from the staff and rapid notification of family. There are many others. We definitely found a wonder place for my husband to live a quality life in Memory Care.

We were thrilled with the accommodations. My mom's room was decorated in soothing colors, soft pillows and beautiful artwork. It was like a wonderful hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive. No place is perfect but we felt our mom was in good hands. She loved the music acts that came and loved to move her booty to the music. The visits from birds and dogs also brought her joy. We would highly recommend it. We actually wish she could have lived there earlier in her life with our dad when they could have enjoyed it more.

We give Clarendale 5 stars in every category! We absolutely love it and could not ask for more compassionate care. Our overall experience with Clarendale has far exceeded our expectations. Our experience started with the sales manager, [name removed], who was kind, compassionate, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She kept us informed about apartments as they became available, gave us a wonderful tour of the beautiful facility, and patiently answered all of our questions. Fortunately, we were able to secure an apartment, and the location has been especially convenient for my mother-in-law. It is just two doors down from the salon, close to physical therapy, and directly across from the elevator, which minimizes the amount of walking needed to get to the dining room. When we moved in, any questions or concerns we had were quickly addressed by the Director of Maintenance, who could not have been nicer. That same level of kindness and compassion has been our experience with every staff member at Clarendale. Each person genuinely seems to care about the residents and treats them with respect and compassion. The facility is exceptionally clean, and I have never seen anything that gave us cause for concern. The dining room is another highlight. The food is delicious, nutritious, and clearly enjoyed by both residents and their families. And, of course, the ice cream is a big favorite among the residents! There are also a wonderful variety of activities available every day, with a schedule that is constantly changing. The activities director makes a real effort to find meaningful and engaging ways to involve the residents. Thursday movie nights are particularly popular, and the musical guests who come every two to three weeks are another big crowd-pleaser. Finally, the pricing is comparable to other facilities of the same caliber in the area, which makes the overall experience even more worthwhile. We are so grateful for the care, kindness, and compassion shown to our family at Clarendale. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, caring, and welcoming community for their loved one.

I would like to say that I've only been here 9 days. In this time I would say that Clarendale is head and shoulders above the ones that I've seen. It's clean, modern, friendly, good food, wonderful staff. So far I love it here. It will take me awhile to finish unpacking, but, I'm told by my friends that Rome wasn't built in a day.

My mother-in-law was only there for 3 months but everyone could not have been nicer. During the ice storm they welcomed us and our pets in when we didn't have power for days. They welcomed us to meals and were extremely gracious. Everyone there goes out of their way to be helpful and kind and engaging with the residents. The food was wonderful! We had the opportunity to eat there several times. The place was still pretty empty at that point and some of the residents were complaining that the menu didn't change as often as they would like but I imagine that would change when the population went up. They seem to have quite a lot of interesting activities and an increasing number of them. [name removed] is the life of the party there, so energetic and outgoing and kind to everyone. He has made an effort to have a lots of mens activities too. They had a couple of bigger events there during her time which were also very fun with live music and outside guests and treats to snack on it was a very nice time. One issue that is a bit of a pain as a visitor is the parking. There really is none. There are a few spots out front and they have a valet service. Anytime we needed to load or unload things however, they would open the garage and let us park in there. The parking pass was an additional $[removed] per month which for the price of rent I thought was excessive. Most people there don't drive.

Everything has been great so far. Very helpful staff! Well, I don't have a lot of other experiences with assisted-living communities to compare it to, but I appreciate how responsive they are whenever we have questions or concerns. I really like how thoughtfully designed the community is to support seniors without feeling institutional. And they have a lot of activities and options of fun things for the residents to do. They have made it easier for us to manage this transition and have been really supportive

I visited today to see if Danbury would be a good fit for my mom. The facility is beautiful! [name removed] gave me a tour of the facility and I was very impressed. When we ran into any of the residents she called them by name and spoke to them all. The residents seemed very happy and well cared for.

Beautiful residence with lots of great amenities. Lots of lovely apartment options with great floor plans. Extensive activity calendar. Lots of menu options. Friendly staff.

While my step mother has only been here a few days, my experience with the team getting her moved in was five-star! [name removed] was communicative, transparent and incredibly helpful during a stressful time. The medical staff was thorough and truly interested in learning about my step mother. Finally, everyone from the front desk, maintenance team, the nurses and aides and dining room staff were warm and friendly and caring. Thank you!

It was a very informative visit to the site. Great tour of facility and info from [name removed]. Am looking forward to another trip so that I can review the surrounding area.

The setting is beautiful and the accommodations are well mantained. The mechanism for becoming a resident is different than other continual care communities. In fact, it appeals to us. Definitely it was worth exploring.

Havenwood is definitely a five-star. I’d give the highest marks. I live at Havenwood and I have guests come in from outside the Community. The kitchen staff is amazing and everyone loves the staff and the food. The best community. We feel so blessed to be here at HAVENWOOD OF BUFFAO.

Great location and facility! Very clean and knowledgeable staff. Definitely on the list for my mom. Loved all the options for my mom's care.

All 5's based on feedback from my Mom and the 2 visits I have had. Mom loves the staff, the activities and being able to walk her dog around the grounds. The chef and restaurant staff are wonderful and the community is so friendly. She also loves her apartment and has a wonderful view, especially in the summer.

I give a 5 to everything but Food. I give a 3 to Food but they have been making improvements since I moved in. They are trying to make it more healthy. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating; there are a ton of activities (yoga, movies, lectures, etc.) just downstairs (mo having to go outside!) and bus outings to the beach, dining, museums, and shopping. The apartments are spacious and housekeeping comes once a week. I'm very happy I chose Cypress Village.
