After recently having surgery, I chose Park Lane for my physical and occupational therapy. Because of the wonderful care my mother has received as a full time resident for two and half years, my decision was any easy one to make. All personnel have been caring, pleasant, effective and positive to resident needs. Response by nursing, dietary, housekeeping and all other departments has been immediate and there are lots of activities to keep us busy. The dedication to residents at Park Lane as well as communication is commendable! I wholly recommend sending your loved ones for care, long term living and therapy! I must also say that I was extremely impressed with the continuing care, food preparation and the staff members who stayed during the recent blizzard of 2016!!!

I live at Bellingham and enjoy it there but am at Park Lane for rehab. The therapy team take their time to make sure everyone is okay. They know what they are doing. The food and activities are nice at both places. Everyone is so nice and I know I will get better here.

We loved everything about the Eastcastle Place. Everything was very nice and well kept. It was close to us and all the staff seemed equally as awesome.

Mom liked the staff at Harbour Village. The value is in line with everyone else as far as I know. She was happy with the care. She had physical issues but no mental issues and could be stimulated a little more. I know mom would like more arts and crafts. Mom was happy overall and that is the goal. It was nice to have physical therapy on the premises which is why we chose this place.

I have lived here for almost six years. I liked it from the very beginning. It was difficult to adjust to the loss of independence, but I've been happy at Bellingham. I like everything about this place, to tell you the truth. The food is good, the activities team is great, they have a wonderful maintenance and housekeeping team, and everyone is very friendly. My experience with Bellingham has been pleasant, but I don't necessarily have anything else to compare it to. I've never lived in any other retirement community, but I can't imagine myself being happier anywhere else. I'm very happy here.

I held off writing a review of Lexington Square in Elmhurst until my mother was there for more than 2 months. Most importantly my mother likes being at Lexington Square. Her apartment is nice sized and was nearly totally remodeled for her. Unfortunately due to an injury, she has not yet participated in the many activities that Lexington offers, but this is coming. The residents are friendly and she is starting to make friends. Our family is impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and with the general attitude of both the residents and staff. In riding the elevators, we’ve had nice conversations with residents and staff. We’ve not experienced any grumpy people. Rather as my mother has found, we also find the resident’s very friendly and willing to talk. I’ve asked a number of residents how they like Lexington and all have been positive. I’ve been in my mother’s room when maintenance people come in and they want to help. We just rented one of the guest rooms. My mother and I both thought that it was nice. So bottom line after 2+ months in Lexington Square, both my mother and the family are quite happy with the choice of Lexington.

We are pleased with the service, it's well insulated and immaculate, and the people are very friendly. The food is very good that's where they are plus, plus. It's still very new for us, but other than, it could always be less expensive, we don't have any complaints.

My dad has adjusted well at Harbour Village. My dad has never been a real social person, but since he's been there, he's doing both inside and outside activities, even kickball. They gave him the opportunity to do extra curricular activities which I'm very happy about. The staff is fabulous. My dad thinks the world of them. They are jovial, and very attentive to him and how he's feeling. I'm satisfied overall.

My siblings and I chose Harbour Village in Greendale because it is a community where our parents can share the same apartment, with mom living independently, while dad receives assisted care (he suffers from dementia). My parents left their homestead of 52 years and it was important that we find a place where they will experience all of the warmth and comforts of 'home'.

For Alzheimers and Dementia care they only have a high functioning unit...if the patient is a behavioral problem and/or needs more intensive personal care due to their disease..they place the patient on the skilled nursing unit upstairs where they dont get the dementia care programming....then it's just like any other nursing home...the high functioning unit is the best in the area though as far as sizes of the room, cleanliness, staffing, appearance of the unit etc...good caring staff

Great location and friendly service. Move in coordinator does a great job of not only moving the resident in but also continues to help with any other issues as well. Medical staff does a great job. Overall great experience for my mother.

Great people, great location, and great Staff. It is early in the game for Mom, and we pray that all goes well. I do strongly believe in our decision to place her at Eastcastle.

The location is beautiful; my mom's apartment looks out over the Woodlands waterway. I am sure in time she will enjoy her daily sunset. Her one bedroom/one bath home is very livable. Her only complaint has been that not all of her stuff fits into the new place. (She had a two bedroom/2 bath apartment before this move; she is very possessive of her "things" and is reluctant to give anything away.) Her closet is much better than the one she had. The maintenance man added an extra closet rod to the closet before she moved in. He was very helpful in disposing of the empty boxes and paper. I have noticed that the residents seem very involved with the activities and can be seen during the day doing things; in other words, they are not just staying in their homes till dinner time. The twice a week art classes really interested my mom. Once she is settled, I am sure she will enjoy her new location.

Everyone at Bellingham has been very helpful. I haven't moved in yet but, I am pleased with the apartment . I visited a few other places....one was way too small and one wasn't receptive to the fact that I am in an electric wheelchair. Their bus didn't accommodate a wheelchair because it was independent living...I am very independent and need no help taking care of myself. They certainly made me unexceptable as a resident. Bellingham have been completely opposite.

I think they are wonderful. It is a good deal. I haven't really done many activities because my husband has been sick, but there are a lot of the people are doing the activities. The food is very good! It is independent living, but you can get care. A lot of the people have people taking care of them. Some people can't stay alone and the care they get seems to be very nice. And then, my husband had physical therapy occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Richmond place has it's own home health agency, although they couldn't help me until I had referral from a primary care doctor. They don't make the decision, they get in touch with the doctor and are sort of a go between. I've been having trouble recently and they have been professional and friendly. A lot of people are on walkers or motorized vehicles like my husband, and I like that. I have heard other people say it's the nicest place in town.

They had nice apartments and a lot of activities, it was big like six floors and two big buildings. It was kind of nice that you could tell what was going on for activities because they put them on T.V. instead of having to read a board in the hall. They had good food with a big salad bar.

We really like the facility, we have had some glitches getting her room set up and things, but overall it is very good. They have both continuing care and life care, and the price will vary based on the size of the unit.

While my mother was reluctant to go to senior living, we talked her into it with the promise that she still had her house, we hadn't yet sold it, and she could come home of she so desired. Weeks one and two were an adjustment, for all of us, but we managed Weeks three and four were constant complaints that made no sense, items that were fully rectifiable if mom called the front desks and asked for help. Since then it's been smooth sailing. The staff really cares, the accommodations are beautiful, and the only continuing complaint my mother has is that if she waits too long to eat dinner, some of the popular items are gone. All in all, I would recommend Bellingham to anyone. It's a beautiful facility, filled with caring, kind and compassionate people.

We are extremely pleased with the facility, the staff, the FOOD, the activities and the size of the units. We are convinced we made the right choice (since May 25)
