We moved into Independent Living and then my husbands needs increased and then we needed to move to Skilled Care. The food was okay. I was happy with the room sizes. It was big enough for two people. I was happy with the staff.

We have lived here for 5+ years and believe they are some of the best years in our our 60 years of marriage. Our food service brought to our apt. door each day is varied and delicious. During this pandemic we have been given loving care by our associates including doing shopping at our local supermarket, delivery of same to our apt. door. Walgreen's delivers medications to our concierge who has them delivered to our door. On our private TV channel we have bingo,trivia,scavenger hunts, our exercise program movies and so much more. Virtual meetings allow us to conduct the business of the PV at all levels. Biggest decision each week is what to order for the next weeks food menu. We have had parades for Mother's Day and Memorial Day. A make A Wish program provides an outlet. We are safe and secure. A 5 star hotel could not do it this good. Thank You associates for all that you do. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

We are thrilled with how well we are being taken care of during these difficult times! We are fed door to door, brought groceries we have ordered and prescriptions door to door, given daily fun tasks and exercises on our closed circuit TV and shown daily happy faces by our attending associates. We have been provided visitor's kiosks to share family time in a safe mode with a window separation and wireless phone connections. We have a Make a Wish, program, a cute Village Market with all the trimmings located in our Commons Bldg.,a command center for immediate answers to our needs, and transportation provided for all medical appointment if necessary. We are so pleased to be a part of this happy family!

My mother has lived at Freedom Village since 1999, first in a beautiful condo, next in Assisted Living and finally in Skilled Care for the last 5 years. She is now 96 years old, legally blind, hard of hearing, and has advanced dementia. She spends most of her time in a wheelchair and is happy in her own world thinking most of the time that she is a teenager. She has had outstanding care. All of the staff have been very caring. Particularly, under stressful times, the Program Department has gone out of their way to keep all of the residents safely occupied. Freedom definitely gets 5 stars.

The layout of the community is attractive. The food is excellent. Activities are available. Room sizes are adequate. Outdoor space is very good. We have had a positive experience here are Lake Seminole Square.

The memory care staff was extremely dedicated, and caring. Food was adequate. Staffing was an issue, not enough staff and cleaning staff especially on weekends. My mom unfortunately only lived there 30 days before she passed away. (name removed ) was so helpful, she helped us move mom's stuff out and was helpful, this was all during the Covid -19 times so it is very different for everyone.

My Aunt was in need of another facility to live. I was contacted by Richmond Place and immediately received results. It has been an excellent experience for us. The staff are very helpful and very friendly. I can only rate my experience as excellent. They do a great job.

StoneRidge provides reassurance that my parents are happy and safe. For Mom (in her mid-70s), StoneRidge is a home where she can take aqua classes in the salt water pool or swim with the grandkids when they visit. She can take the grandkids to the Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport. Mom also loves the parties... Memorial Day, July 4, Halloween, New Years, etc. For my Dad (in his late 80’s), StoneRidge is a home where he can participate in the balance classes a weekly tai chi group. He is active in a couple of StoneRidge committees and sings in the StoneRidge Chorus. He enjoys the concerts, parties and dinners at the Grille with my Mom and friends, but he can enjoy a slower pace than my Mom when he chooses. For me, StoneRidge is invaluable. Mom and Dad can age at their own pace…always on the same campus, together.

Great tour, convenient location. Friendly residents & staff, indoor parking, variety of floor plans, exercise room, on-site beauty/barber, on-site medical personnel, pool, TONS of activities for all. Will probably choose this place to live, not ready to downsize just yet.

Upon entering the Danberry complex, where one is enveloped in a nurturing environment of outdoor beauty and indoor harmoniousness, the people stand out: the residents and most particularly the staff. [Name removed], the move in/ sales coordinator, will greet you, and immediately there's a feeling that a very sensitive and caring human being is helping you with an important decision. Once, if a decision is made to move to Danberry, [name removed] is still there, and will be there, to assist with any issues. I have great peace of mind knowing that, being 350 miles away, I can call [name removed] with any concern.

Generally, I'm very pleased to have found Danberry. The staff is very helpful and receptive of suggestions. The residents are friendly, enjoyable and engaging (with minor exceptions). The facility is comfortable and well maintained. Our transition from a large house to a 2-bedroom apartment was very smooth. We don't miss all those big rooms and large property that required constant attention. Of course, nothing is perfect but I can't get too excited over small things.

y wife has been in Memory care exactly 90 days - fantastic improvement since being in the The Delaney! I have been in Assistance Living there 60 days. Wanted to be near my wife and no space available in the Independent part of The Delaney. Yet to meet an employee that was not more than willing to do whatever was needed to assist the residence. I also have the sense management wants to continue to improve the facility for the residences - they want to be the very Complete Retirement Facility available.

My wife and I have lived in StoneRidge for exactly one year. I love it. StoneRidge is the happiest place I have ever lived and I rejoice I found it. Here I have found community, something I didn’t know I was searching for, its absence so quiet and unnoticed. Until I fell into it. And I am reveling in it. I could even call it family… but a special type — my “family for the rest of my life.” Don’t misunderstand me, no one here is perfect. They’re just people, good people. In truth, I like to consider them all as lovely weirdos, each unique. And what I like most about being here at StoneRidge is that they have the space for my weirdo-ness, too. Ah, family. My family. Lucky me.

We are in our second year living in the StoneRidge community and we love it! We decided several years ago we wanted to be in a Life Plan community when the older of us reached 80 and while we both were in good health. Between us we have five children living in four states - two out west. We explored communities in those states but ultimately decided on a location and community of our choice. Our first visit to StoneRidge stood in clear contrast to others we visited - because of the residents. There is a palpable warmth and vitality of community here among our residents and staff. It is seen in all the friendly greetings and conversations, and in the broad participation in the extensive activities offered here and in the greater Mystic area. We brought the four-legged member of our family to this pet-friendly community, which is well-managed for the happiness and safety of all. We chose our apartment home on the ground level for easy access to outside. This CT/RI area along the coast is abound in beauty, history, culture, cuisine and recreation for us, and for our friends and family who visit. The services, amenities and activities here at StoneRidge, including the dining venues and delicious meals, make each day a carefree, option-filled opportunity to live life in the fullest.

My husband and I were living in a spacious condo in a 55-plus association in Rhode Island. We were approaching 80 and the condo’s stairs were becoming an issue for me. By chance, we received a mailing inviting us to a private luncheon in Narragansett to hear a presentation about the CCRC, StoneRidge, in Mystic, Connecticut. We accepted that invitation, a very smart move indeed! We were intrigued by what we learned that day, and soon we planned a visit to StoneRidge. We were dazzled! It reminded us of a classy hotel, and it is easy to get to from Rhode Island right off Rt. 95! During many visits and conversations with the marketing staff, we learned about the fitness program, which was very important to us, and we were treated to a variety of experiences and absorbed a great deal about what this elder community is about. And importantly, we came to realize the safety of living in a three-tier environment where, as we grew older and our needs changed, help would be available for us! We also discovered that a three-tier CCRC, Continuing Care Retirement Community, does not exist in Rhode Island. It wasn’t easy deciding to leave our home. We struggled but decided to be proactive while we were healthy in mind and body. The assistance we received from StoneRidge was fabulous. They helped us decide what possessions would fit in the apartment we chose. They packed us, moved us and unpacked us while we stayed a couple of nights there in a comfy suite provided. We’ve now been here a delightful fourteen months. This community setting stimulates our minds and bodies in countless ways, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. There is always much in which to participate and we’ve made many wonderful friends. It’s become our home! The StoneRidge staff is exceptional and to a person, each knew our names from the very first day!

We have had a very positive experience at the Bayshore. Dad has lived here for about a year. The facility is new construction on the shore of Skull Creek with beautiful views, a boat dock, and lovely outdoor spaces. It is extremely well decorated, more like an upscale hotel but also very cozy and comfortable. It is more expensive than other facilities but not overpriced for what it is. Dad has been able to live independently but the entire facility is licensed for assisted living. The staff is professional, friendly, and quite competent. All in all, we have no negative comments — even the food is good!

Harbor Village is quite clean & the staff are very friendly. They are quick to address any maintenance issues. There are numerous musically presentations. And the food is wonderful. All in all this is a good value. On the other hand, the wealth of listed activities is somewhat overstated. For instance the current events item which looks like a discussion in the coffee shop is actually a sheet of the day's headlines left on a table. There is no bringing together of residents for a guided conversation. The bridge club is a group of 3 ladies (4 are needed) organized by a resident and they rarely get together.

Outstanding staff. Genuinely compassionate, friendly people, each, each and every one I interacted with - not just the caregivers. Food could be a little better, however - but the staff is more important.

Gable Pines Is an excellent facility with great staff. It is the best Memory Care design I have seen with a great outside garden, nice dining area and sitting area. The rooms are good sized and well kept. The food is really great and good variety. Best of all I feel that my spouse is safe there and well cared for.
