My dad has called Clarendale home for 6 mo. It's a beautiful building and it's maintained beautifully. The biggest asset is the people who work there. They're caring, compassionate, and work well together as a team. It seems everybody calls my dad by name - which is special for a community this size. The food is delicious. The entertainment is top notch and there's a variety of activities to choose from everyday. It isn't perfect - what is?! I'm happy my dad is safe, well looked after and that helping hands are just the touch of a button away. I trust them because they've earned it.

My mother lived here for 2 years until the good lord called her home. The staff was very attentive and caring. The hearts of all the staff members are really in the right place. I am grateful to have called this my mother's home toward the end.

Beautiful very clean facility, Allows for Independent Living to Assisted Living to Monitored Living as needed, Of 5 facilities visited, Galleria Woods had the floor plan that was our favorite. Church services in a beautiful on-site Chapel, Washer/Dryer combinations in every apartment, Open floorplans, Stainless Steel appliances in the Kitchen, Residents must press a button in their apartment each morning by 10:00 am notifying security they are okay. If action does not occur, the staff checks on the resident. Clearly the resident’s safety, enjoyment, comfort and wellbeing are a high priority of Galleria Woods. The cons for us were: While lease cost is on the lower end Galleria Woods requires a Life Care Option. For the unit we looked at, the cost was $151,000 for 0% Refund Plan or $200,000 for 50% Refund Plan. This is in addition to the monthly lease amount so Mom’s move in cost would be $202,785 if we selected the 50% option. There are certainly benefits to a Life Care Option as it provides guaranteed care for life and reduced monthly cost for Assisted or Skilled Nursing care. This may not be as much of a financial burden on a senior if they are selling their residence to move into Galleria Woods. We have no timeframe for selling Mom's house so it would be a financial burden to raise that startup cost. Meal package only includes 1 meal per day. Other communities we visited provided Breakfast + Lunch or Dinner. Cable TV is excluded in lease cost. All other facilities visited included Cable TV.

If I told you there was a place for your parents to live out their retirement years that was in the country but a mall, a great grocery store, a movie theater and restaurants were within walking distance of active people...would you believe it? If I said the one meal provided a day was delicious and varied, the dining venues were attractive, the servers were hand picked to be friendly and helpful, would you scoff? If I said there was a concierge doctor on site, a 5 star nursing home under the same roof, a variety of options for help with aging and a fantastic , popular exercise program, would you begin to wonder where this place was? I haven't mentioned the residents who are extraordinarily friendly and welcoming, the staff which will know your parents names the first day they arrive and the available help with moving which will make the transition incredibly easy...so now..would you want to know its name? OK...here it is. STONERIDGE on Jerry Browne Rd in Mystic [removed] I have lived here 11 years and the day our son recommended we move here was the luckiest day of our lives. Come see for yourself. Your parents will think you are a genius and be forever grateful.

After my father had quadruple bypass surgery, we placed him in the assisted living division at Windsor. The medical care and treatment he received was outstanding and always very prompt when needed. Additionally, the entire staff went above and beyond to make my parents feel at home and were very patient with us throughout the whole process. We cannot say enough good things about my parents' experience at Windsor. I am in the process of buying long term care with the intent of living there when I retire. Once again, thank you for all of your help and support.

Residents were happy and cheerful. Staff were friendly. Apartments were spacious. Lots of amenities at hand. Ability to move to higher levels of care in the same community a plus.

I attended the open house and toured the facility. It is brand new and looks beautiful. My friends Mother lives there and she really enjoys it and thinks the food is fabulous. I would highly recommend this facility.

When prospective residents initially visit here the most important part of their visit is not the tour, a delicious made from scratch meal in the dining room, or seeing the wide variety of activities - it is the opportunity to mingle with those of us who live here and love it here. We are a group of people from varied geographical and career backgrounds. There is a wonderful chemistry here not only among the residents, but also among the staff and residents. A very comfortable and interesting environment. While the facilities and services are impressive, it is the residents and staff that have made our decision to be here the correct one. The emphasis on fitness and wellness is very strong and draws a large number of us into various programs and activities. We have just completed our fourth year here at StoneRidge and are very active and happy.

Assisi is a wonderful place to stay - the staff is superb. Every one who cared for me went above and beyond to make me comfortable. The therapists are very patient with the people here. I would not hesitate to recommend someone to come here - will return myself if the need arises!

I was in here for rehab due to leg surgery (knee). Care was excellent.

This is the most friendly, welcoming community. We are a small CRCC so one gets to know everyone - a great opportunity to socialize over good food or a fun activity. We have lived here for 10 years. I would recommend Clare oaks to anyone.

All of the staff is extremely friendly and professional. Definitely one of the nicer communities.

We couldn’t have been more pleased how the entire staff made my mothers transition easy and worry free. From every recommendation too the top notch, move in ready apartment, they couldn’t have made it any better. When living at home is no longer an option, I encourage you to visit Clarendale of Mokena. You will get that warm welcoming feeling when you walk in the door. This retirement home has good food, many shared activities and bus trips. I feel safe here. This is home.

I have been very impressed with Wyndemere over the last 15 months when we moved in. The staff is particularly caring, helpful, and friendly. The food is quite good, and the opportunities for activities are also very good.
