Clarendale is a very pleasant location to live. I have lived here since the end of [date removed]. The employees all display a positive attitude and usually have a smile on their faces. Your dinner menu needs to be varied with a new menu selections so a guest feels more positive about their experience visiting your dining room.

Hospitality is a core value at StoneRidge and that is evident in the Dining Room. Watching the Dining Room Team is like watching a ballet that I call ‘Collaborative Coordination’. The Dining Room staff and management (who step into the server’s role whenever needed) work together seamlessly. The staff strives not only to meet the expectations of the residents but to exceed them. Each day: (a) residents are greeted warmly, by name and with a smile; (b) the servers frequently anticipate our wishes (habits!) and help us with the menu; (c) they pay attention to the details; and (d) the servers always ask “Is there anything else I can do for you?” In addition the Dining Room Team members support each other in a ‘collaborative coordinated’ manner that is evident, particularly when it is busy. For example when a server is not busy with her/his assigned tables it is not uncommon for them to: (a) pour water for residents just seated; (b) clear dishes from a table finished with the initial course; or (c) ask a busy assigned server if she/he could help: by (a) taking orders for and serving drinks to residents just seated; or (b) ask the assigned server if it would help if she/he took the orders for dessert then cleared the dishes and served dessert and coffee. The Dining Room Team provides enjoyable and responsive service. The ‘Collaborative Coordination’ among servers results in an extraordinary experience for residents, guests and Team members!

There are so many things we liked about this facility: lots of care put into the design for Memory Care residents. There’s a town [removed] Street with different areas for activities, music, movies, exercise class, a fireplace seating area, a snack area/seated activity area, a spa room where residents can take a bath in a soothing & safe environment, and several other smaller & quiet areas to roam and sit. The staff seemed happy and involved, which translates to the residents. There was a caring & homey feel to the place. Updated rooms, good sixes for either single or double occupancy. 2 smaller intimate dining rooms for each wing of residents, and just a short walk to Main Street area which is really well-thought out so no one is far or cut off from others. Definitely one of the contenders for us in our choice.

I've been here 1 1/2 years and I love it. The staff is wonderful. I feel very safe and secure. The residents are very friendly. It is close to a lot of shopping, doctor, dentist, etc. The kitchen has a lot to be desired. The food is pretty much OK. But it takes a LONG time to get it.

This is a beautiful facility that has a very warm, inviting atmosphere. Our contact was very welcoming, friendly and took time to show us each of the different levels of communities. This would be great for Independent Living or Type A Assisted Living where there is no need for outside doors to be secure. They did have all levels of care, but was outside of our budget.

My mom loved it. I had such peace of mind knowing she was there. [Name removed] who helped with the paperwork was incredible. She was patient with me and very professional. The building and room were excellent and clean. I will use this facility again.

We moved our mother here April 2018 and her care and health have improved greatly as well as giving us a piece of mind. The care is excellent. She enjoys playing bingo and going to the exercise classes. Also, the food is great and she enjoys going to the diner to eat and speak with everyone. She loves to sit in the hall and watch people come and go. We have been very pleased and I think she is truly happy.

Here for two months. It is definitely more than an apartment complex. We have a professional staff assist your needs. We have a bistro and restaurant that serves excellent food . There’s all the activities that you’ll ever need. We are living in a five-star independent retirement community.

I live at Gable Pines. The staff is most helpful, frienldy and always willing to help when needed. Our food is very good. Our chef has meetings with residents for suggestions. Our home is kept clean. We have many activities to enjoy; programs to hear, crafts to make, etc. All in all, Gable Pines is the best senior living!

The admissions process was quick, easy and straight-forward. The nursing, therapy and social services staff members all were competent, professional and friendly. Also activities were readily available and appropriate to my needs.

I particularly liked the variety of food offered.

Lindsey was outstanding in showing the community as well as explaining how specific things work and answering all of our questions. She was very good nurturing my mother and guiding her through the process.

I felt so at ease dealing with knowledgeable professionals. I'm always immediately welcomed and small hiccups with the move from rehab were handled promptly. He's lived at another community so Clarendale was a great upgrade. He loves the beautiful fitness center, and I'm thankful the team handles concerns quickly.

The counselor was very generous with her time and informative answering all my questions. I live in Mokena so the location was great, but I was willing to drive if my 99 year old mother would get better care elsewhere. I'm happy to get mom settled, and have such a great option in Mokena.

The staff is very kind, the community feels very clean and the environment is lively - perfect for mom.

This was my third stay at Assisted Healthcare. The care is always consistently good. I wouldn't think about going anywhere else.

This was a very attractive facility but its surroundings were too "citified" for our tastes.

“I feel free!! I am free!” That was my quick response when a friend asked how I felt about StoneRidge after living here for a short while. I have shed the burden of caring for a house, for gardens and yard. For a while after my husband died these were not overwhelming. But they became so. Now I have the freedom to enjoy a real summer vacation right where I live. I look forward to enjoying this gift of time as each season unfolds. In StoneRidge I have found an active community. Sure, some individuals are limited physically but still participate and contribute. I have found individuals to be caring, friendly, open and outgoing. The same ingredients are found in those who work here. We respect each other and work together. There is something for everyone with a plethora of available activities. No disappointment found in the dining options either. An umbrella of happiness and cheerfulness covers StoneRidge.
