You feel comfortable right when you walk into Clarendale. It is a brand new place. They are easy to work with. Maintenance could use more staff. They are doing a good job over all. The food is very good. My mom’s plan includes three meals a day. They are flexible,you do not have to go down to the dining room every time, you can pick something up and bring it back to your room or have something brought up. You can also have your family eat with you in the dining room. The building is actually much larger than it looks which gives it that home homey feeling.

The staff is really excellent they are so friendly and cooperative. Heritage Pointe is the cleanest place, they keep Lysol in business. We have a two bedroom unit which is adequate, rooms could be a little bigger. All the food is Kosher, food could be better.

My mother was in Clare Oaks two years in a row for falls and rehab. The facility is clean; personnel in every area are exceptional. Nurse [name removed] was exceptional, especially after my mother was discharged when I had to contact her numerous times for explanations. She was pleasant and caring. All other staff were very accommodating.

I appreciated the good care by nurses and assistants.

The care and services here are top notch; therapy exceeded expectations; good environment; clean. Would highly recommend to others. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. The variety of scheduled activity programs seem fine, but I did not participate by choice.

The Clarendale in Algonquin is a modern medium upscale facility with just the right amount of residents. The staff are always kind, considerate and helpful. The activities are always fun and well planned out. The food is varied and healthy. My Mother is there and would not want her anywhere else!

Meals are fantastic. Building looks clean all the time. Nurses and staff are really caring.

Lovely location and very nice people. Rooms are good size, limited closet space, good kitchen, modest bathrooms.

My dad lived in this community. He liked it a lot and said it always felt like home.

Stayed for respite. Feels like a 5 star hotel.

My parents moved into Lake Seminole Square into the Independent Living section in 2003. There is no better place for someone who is into their golden years. Both of my parents eventually went into the Assisted Living area before they passed and I can't say enough about the loving, compassionate care they received during their last months of life. My Mother passed in December of last year and ALL the staff in ALF without exception were absolutely the best. The Executive staff were always accessible and met any needs that we had for both of my parents. It allowed us to be able to sleep at night knowing she was being so well cared for and her needs were being met. I would highly recommend Lake Seminole Square.

Since we moved in a month ago, we don't have enough experience with the community to give a comprehensive report but have so far enjoyed our time here.
