Care staff is never to be found. Waiting hours for a call button to be answered. Downstairs bathrooms are always dirty. Memory care is always incredibly dirty with absolutely no care staff around. If they are around, they’re chatting in a circle not watching anyone and will tell you “that’s not my patient” or “they’re not on my floor today, find someone else” when your loved one needs help. Please don’t send your loved ones here! Memory care meal portions aren’t enough for a child.

Do not be fooled by the show they put on in this facility. Once they have your money, they will not respond to your concerns. They are control and money hungry! This facility has so much potential to be great, but the leadership is not concerned with the resident's needs. We have expressed consistent concerns about the food, how the nursing staff and med techs talk to residents, it seems so unorganized! New management came in last year and we were hopeful, but it has not improved. If anything, it is worse! I am disgusted that they leave residents unclean. If they need their diaper changed, change it! There is no excuse for this inhumane treatment. We have to constantly ask and follow up with the staff, nothing changes. They are rude and disrespectful. The only positive part of my father's stay has been his ability to receive therapy in house. That has been what has kept us there because therapists actually act like they care. Otherwise, we would have moved him a long time ago.

after paying and moving all my husband’s things in his room (we gad to buy and peovude a bed because my husband is 6’3” and they did not gave a bed for gim) i did not let my husband spend the night. we arrived in the mirning to check in and participate in activities. staff were in a meeting. we sat and waited a long time. some ladies and one man we at a longctable where there was a big tv. one caretaker. over 40 residents. i found our redidents cannot dtay in rooms during day. some ladies were active but others just sat around. it looks nice and admin in main bldg nice but i did not want my husband just sitting and locked out of him room. cost almost $6000 for memory care. after i brought my husband home and in process of getting his belongings i observed they were understaffed because of people calling in sick. although appears cery nice i do not recommend. i am very glad i dod not let my husband stay. staff mostly nice who i encountered.

It used to be Inspired Living of Hanover. Volante Senior Living is the parent company who is owned by Inspired Healthcare Capital that has assets valued over 1.5 billion dollars and whose mission statement mentions investors profiting. Do some research. During our time there: Large turnover of employees, including management. Months at a time without a director, nurse, activities person or kitchen staff. They rely on out-of-state corporate staff who are rarely on site. All that is required by law is they are available by phone. Call buttons regularly don’t work. Response times unacceptable. Staff not seen for long periods of time. Very little interaction with residents. Administration is very “dictator” in approach. Multiple times initiated/demanded medication changes, or changed cares they had no physician orders to do. Medication management section lists “a focus on psychotropic medications” before non pharmacological.

This facility looks great, the staff are very nice. After my grandma was there for 2 months she lost so much weight, I could never get calls back from the nursing staff to answer my concerns. I live out of state and don’t have the ability to visit all the time, but the next opportunity I got did not go well. The staff hardly spoke English or knew who she was, I was escorted around looking for someone who could answer my questions only to end up with no answers. I am not very happy with this facility at all, my advice to all is don’t be fooled by the welcome parade. It seems this place manages itself.

Management awful and they don’t care about the seniors who live here … no amenties…nasty unkempt building…stairwells and Breeze ways are filthy….elevators don’t work for months… roaches and bedbugs have taken over the building

My dad was only there for about two weeks. They were great at communicating until my dad was actually there. They never called me or my siblings to tell us that Dad was in the hospital. In fact, they never reached out to us again except one time approximately a week later to ask what to do with my father's belongings. They allowed a visitor that we expressly denied. And they have not refunded us any money. The whole experience was a complete disaster.

My mother moved in to Rolling Rivers in July 2023. My sisters and I looked at 5 facilties before we made our decision to move her to Rolling Rivers. We loved the Marketing Director & the Executive Director at first sight and felt comfortable with our decision. Answering my mother's call light has taken anywhere from 30 to 70 minutes while my sisters and I are there. What if we were not there watching and timing? Ordering medication is another issue. Mother went without her anxiety medication for 4days. We have left messages for the nurse, but never get a returned call. We are very concerned about the decline of the community's standard of care and they increased our mother's rent by 10%.

[name removed] is [name removed] best friend and [name removed] is [name removed] daughter they are all no good and [name removed] has a record so it’s obvious they do not do background checks and [name removed] is an does not know how to speak to her staff she is very rude and curses a lot and [name removed] covers up for [name removed] and [name removed] just needs to retire she does not know how to do her job correctly and does not know how to staff or do the scheduling . The staff deserves better pay and didn’t get a Christmas bonus a lot of us residents wanted to give the staff bonuses but was told volante / rolling rivers said we could not do that. you will see more of us moving out and the rent is way to high.

Living at the facility is not recommended they take advantage of the residence and have no regard for their needs. After you get in to the facility which is very expensive then you experience their treatment of the residents you will have no rights with them regardless of what their contracts say.

This senior living facility has been recently bought by a corporation in the past 8 months. The decline began almost immediately. Their goal is to reduce spending on the residents and increase their investment. The heartless, abrupt and dictatorial new Executive Director has initiated the following changes: -Rations 2 rolls of toilet paper a week (to a couple living together as well). Before toilet paper was provided without limits. -Room trash removal reduced from daily to weekly removal. Elderly residents to dispose of own trash if needed. -Residents responsible for providing their own trash bags -Food shortages in various categories -Food reported as poor quality and poor preparations -Staff, not well trained, do not return phone calls -Outdoor seating greatly diminished per order of Director -since new management the attrition rate is high Visit this community and ask the residents directly-they are not pleased with the new management. It is no longer a nurturing environment

We moved dad there when [removed]. Since [removed] took over it has totally gone down the tubes. All the residents complain the food is over cooked and barely edible. They dining room staff have attitudes and treat the residents like dirt. We pay for too level of care and days go by before the room gets cleaned. Imagine the stench of dirty Depends. All we hear is they are working on fixing things. We have to stock dad's fridge with food because he is hungry. We drive over an hour to get there. It's a nice facility however there is little dignity for the residents.

I Went For A Tour And Its A Very Nice Facility But Once You Look Closely It Needs A lot Of Repairs And Was Very Dirty , The Staff Seemed Nice I Feel Like Management Was Very Pushy They Kept Trying To Get Me To Change My Mind. Also Over Heard A lot Of Gossip With Concierge And A Manager And Coworkers All Standing At The Front.This Facility Wasn't For My Loved One Its Just To Expensive Definitely Not Worth it.

My mother was diagnosed with dementia . We placed her in the Grand Villa. They took such great care of my mother. Then Baywood bought them out. My mother went from the assistant living to memory care. Once in memory care, they ignored her. She somehow hurt her arm to the point that it was bruised so badly all up her arm and her hand was three times it's normal size. An aid told us that mom cried out in pain all night and they did NOTHING! I was beyond pissed!! But no one could tell us what happened. Then they told us we had 45 days to find her a new place as she required more help then they could give her, although there are people there worse than she is. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Mom is now in a facility where she receives one on one care! Thank you lord Jesus!

We put our parents at Franklin Park in August 2022. I can’t say everything that went wrong while they were here because I’m limited on characters. Let’s just say RUN don’t walk from here do not leave your family here!! The administration staff is horrible and can’t believe a thing they say. They are in the business for money not taking care of our loved ones. There was an only a handful of caregivers I would trust my family with. Please rethink leaving them here.

The facility is nice, but the company seems unable to manage anything appropriately. They got a new pharmacy and are charging residents extra if they don't use it. Medications are not delivered timely, scripts are lost completely and it's more expensive than the old company. They are filling most of the caregiver positions through an agency and most of the previous staff, the ones who actually got to know residents and cared about their welfare are gone. Some of the agency people are rough with residents and have been overheard yelling and swearing at them. My own family member is afraid of some of them. They are lax in resident care, rooms smell of urine, showers are given without using soap or shampoo, sheets go unchanged for weeks, special diets are not followed and unexplained wounds go untreated unless your family member has an outside nurse come in and monitor the care. Your family member would be better off literally anywhere else.

My dad was in the memory care area for about one week. It is not equipped to care for later stages of dementia or challenging behaviors that are common for dementia patients. His room also had a broken toilet that wasn’t fixed.

Terrible facility...You do not want to put your loved one under their care. Short staffed all the time, terrible food. I could go on. When your loved one is forgotten and takes the staff 2hrs to get them up for the day.. No words for this except worried about safety and care of our loved one. Shame on them...

New management took over and almost immediately tried to raise the rent by almost 150% with less than 30 days notice. Letters were sent out in early July increasing rent on 2br independent living units from $[removed]to $[removed] effective [date removed]. Absolutely not affordable for seniors. Management has also been very secretive and will not answer residents’ questions.

New owners came in mid April and promptly fired almost the entire management of the community. They are operating on a skeleton staff. No one answers the phones , they didn’t pay the FPL bill and the power went out. They should be ashamed of themselves.
