Worst facility for your loved ones. No care at all. This is purely business. No concern at all and the management are terrible. I would go shop around town. There are a few around that makes youre loved ones feel at home.

This is not a place I would suggest a loved one live at. There are some good people who care that work on the grounds, nurses, aides, etc. However, the reason for this negative review is upper management, particularly the GM [name removed]and the corporate office. To give an example, my loved one passed away a few months ago. There was not one communication from the GM [name removed] or Homestead management with any type of condolences or compassion. Instead, I received a letter a few weeks after my parent passed that they will threaten legal action against me if I don’t pay my parents remaining bill. A bill I paid already. You would think, especially in a place like that, the leaders of the organization would show some type of compassion and grace when dealing with families. But that is just not the case. This is just one example. We have had many experiences just like this over the years with them. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

General Manager does not know what she is doing is. Management is going downhill. Place is falling apart. Corporate Greed. Beautiful facility. Some staff truly do care. They need more hands on deck over there.

The Manager [name removed] has no people skills. She is extremely rude defensive and unapologetic for her very unkind and inappropriate responses. Unfortunately, her poor attitude has a trickle-down effect and the other departments follow in the same manner. If you have a problem do not expect good customer service and if it has anything to do with finances or any explanation thereof do not expect a reasonable explanation.

The level of care and expertise on taking are of elderly is horrifyingly bad. Never put a loved one in their care. Their nursing staff is inept, unkind and unfit to care for residents. My Dad was there for month and the decline in his health due to their lack of care was shocking (lead to spending weeks in the hospital and is now living in a different place). [Speculation removed.]

I was working with [name removed], the sales manager, to move my mother into this building. I couldn’t reach her by phone and when I went to the building I was told that she no longer worked there. No one had communicated this with me at all! They were very unfriendly and didn’t offer to have anyone else help me. [The sales manager I originally spoke with] was very friendly and professional and I thought this facility would be a great fit for my mom but after this experience I ended up moving her to [community name removed] instead.

This used to be an amazing community with great leadership - but since the news owners took over this year - it has really gone downhill. The care for the residents is not there - and the new managers are pretty clueless, with corporate leaders MIA. Food really lacking.

Since new owners took over The Reserve - now The Gardens, this community has really gone downhill. All of the amazing managers that were in place have been asked to leave or fired and we are now left with non-caring staff and managers that are clueless. I will be moving my mom out very soon. Many issues with billing and no communication with families like we had in the past. Sad to see this happen.

Please read this review before your put your love one on this facility, I won’t ever recommended this place, we were in the rush to place my father in law in hospice and my mother in law, for memory care , my FIL pass there,she was I n lot distress I keep asking the nurse practitioner to help her with some anxiety meds and something to help her to sleep, it was to much for her to take, the nurse practitioner told me he can only offer melatonin because that how it works, she keep tell me she don't like the facility nurse she always saiid she was a very rude, a week after my husband got a call from her very scare saying she was in a gas station, we call the facility and because it was Sunday is worse the short on staff it took about 20 call before someone answer, they had not idea she was gone, my mother in law was able to open The window of her room who was facing the street, is a very long story they don’t want to take responsibility of her been gone.

This place is absolutely horrible. The residents do not have any access outside. Everything is on a different level, so unless a loved one is there visiting and takes the resident down, they will be stuck and cannot get outside for fresh air. The commons area is on the second floor and the rooms are on the 3rd and 4th floors. First thing in the morning the staff get the residents downstairs for breakfast and then they are stuck down there all day long. There are a lot of residents and only a few chairs that recline so they are unable to take naps unless it is slumped over in their wheelchairs. The food is awful. I spent a week here and for example one of the dinners was cold pizza and tater tots. Not good and not nutritious. Residents do not have water on demand, you get water when it is given. After dinner they are herded into the elevators against their will, I saw many people screaming because they did not want to go. The residents are constantly trying to escape, which shows they are not content and happy. The executive director here is one of the worst people I have ever met in my life. I would never recommend Grand Villa, in fact I would do everything in my power to steer people away from this facility.

My parents moved into Dancing River five years ago. I gave them a 5 star review two years ago so, as you look at the reviews, please note the date. Dancing River was a wonderful facility until new management took over in 2021. The caregivers that are still there are wonderful and caring people, but they are overworked due to the huge staff turnover in the last 9 months. We paid for Level 4 care (the highest level of care) for my father. When I visited him last month his room had not been cleaned all month, his laundry was overflowing (level 4 care includes daily laundry if necessary) leaving only a few clothes in his closet, his room smelled horrible, and there was feces smeared on his toilet and dried urine on the floor. He was getting depressed and no longer wanted to participate in activities. I spoke with [name removed] (acting director/management) about the issues. Unfortunately, my father passed away before we could move him out. Most of his friends were moving out for the same reasons.

Our loved one was only in the memory care unit for 4 DAYS and was taken by ambulance at 2:30am in the morning to Morton Plant. NO ONE in our family received a call until 7:30am in the morning and then no one knew what hospital to send us to. It took over 2 HOURS to find her. They said she fell but no bruises anywhere on her except a black eye! She never walked again after that. Passed away about a month later! My mom was doing great until she arrived here! We thought she would be with us for several years!! They made it seem like the place was really good about taking care of our loved one but obviously they dropped the ball somewhere…..we found out later the State was looking into several issues. Plus my dad had additional expenses he wasn’t counting on! PLEASE think twice before you take your loved one here or you’ll be burying your loved one like us???? I wouldn’t even give them one star because they took my dads star away from him!!

Coronado Heights changed their name and ownership to Inspired Senior living of Las Vegas. It was very uninspiring. They get straight 1s in every category. When my stepfather passed away in hospice nobody at their facility even called me. They had his door shut even though he would be calling out for help. They did not even have a bed pan when he was bedfast. The facility leadership was very poor communicators and it was a miserable experience there which is why we moved them. The caregivers were lousy, the memory care area was dark and they didn't do any great engaging activities so my mother seemed way more depressed then.

We toured this community and It was very frustrating. They forgot about our appointment and the tour was awful. I would not recommend touring this community.

Mom has been in independent living at MacKenzie Place for 8 years. The last couple of years have been horrible and especially during the COVID lockdown. I understand that pleasing and communicating with seniors can be difficult but what they have put the residents through regarding meals during the pandemic is awful. At least 1 a week they have new rules about how to order meals, how to get meals, etc. The latest is that because they can’t keep staff in the restaurant they’ve had to have meals catered from the outside and today they received word that they don’t have staff to serve dinner. So until [date removed] they will have have an evening meal. They’ve been told that if they want dinner they need to order two lunches. Really? Meals are so important for seniors, it is how they get together. The bigger issue is why can’t they keep wait staff, cooks and/or dining room managers. Is it pay? Is it management?

Crescent Park has gone above and beyond with there care. I'm very happy and also my mom is to. The co-vid pandemic has been a big adjustment for all. Thank you for all your hard work ??

You don’t have a level low enough to mark. I moved my sister out after 13 days. Her care was very poor. She fell 5 times and after meeting with staff to increase her level of care she still did not receive appropriate care. She was found in soiled clothing late in the afternoon wearing the same sleepwear we had put on her the night before. She was in the memory care unit and the last straw was they found her on the bathroom floor naked in the morning so I’m sure no one was watching or paying attention to alarms that were in the room to let you know of any problem. She is improving at home with excellent care. I would not recommend Grand Villa to anyone. It still cost us a month for the poor care since we did not give a 30 day notice. There are some many issues I can’t possibly cover in the limited space.

Run, don't walk from this place. I have a family member that was one of the first residents to enter Peachtree. They have failed miserably at doing anything they said they would be doing. It was built brand new but the management has changed hands multiple times. The food that should be being served here is not happening. It has actually been being brought over there from the nursing home that is in the same location. Limited to no activity is being provided. I could continue to go on, but want. There are to many out there to choose from that actually provide the services they state to have and are much nicer than this place. Run, Run, Run..............

FACT: From 2016-2018 my mother was a resident at Grand Villa of Dunedin FL. The first 6 Mos she was in assissted living part of the facility. When I would go to the facility to check in on her progress no one knew bcuz no one read her file, they couldn't understand english, they had no idea who she was bcuz"they just started working there",they said she had to make independent choices about her care and they couldn't help her even though I specifically stated she had ALZHEIMERS.6 mos later they moved her to Memory Care of the facility bcuz she wondered off the premises. When they moved her they had 2 caregivers working in the Memory Care. A temporary head nurse who had no idea how to deal with my mother's anxiety for being moved. They put her in a room she didn't recognize for 2 weeks bcuz they were short staffed on getting her room ready for her with her belongings.The head manager quit, the temporary head nurse quit and they send my mother to the hospital bcuz they couldn't deal with her anxiety. For the the next 18 mos the new head nurse [Name removed] called me once a month to complain about my mother being too much to care for until The Grand Villa evicted her.Uncaring, Inexperienced, High Turnover,Constant Price HikingFacility.
