The staff are courteous, caring, and attentive to my father's needs. The room he is in is just the right size for him and it is always clean.

There is new management company so still waiting to see if there are any major changes. There is good activities for residents, food is very good, smaller community which suits our mother better.

This is a beautiful facility. The price and amenities are very well worth it. I chose another facility, but only because my father is 99 and I felt it is important to be in a place that only has one floor and is smaller so he wouldn't get lost or confused with a larger area. Highly recommend for someone who is not as elderly as my father.

I think I have found a home for my mom. My husband and I took the tour together and we agreed we would like to live there. So we agree this could be the place for mom. I appreciate[name Removed] honesty and willingness to work with us. I'm moving forward with the process of mom becoming a resident. I hope this works out, of the five communities I've toured, this is the one I feel best about

I didn't have an appointment, but dropped in to view this facility. That was a pleasant surprise. The young woman, on the memory side unlocked the door and was incredibility courteous. She called[Name Removed]. [name Removed] knew I had an appointment on Friday, but since I was in the area decided to drop by. [Name Removed] was GREAT. THAK YOU Saltara for being there when I needed you!

Ackerly now with completed stores and other businesses places to eat would be good. It's close to train tracks which is noisy but I did like watching it go by, walking good near wetlands and other pathways. I believe the paths are about 6 miles etc assuming everything is completed.

The director of care is responsive and professional. Most staff are good - attentive to residents and seem like they want to be there helping others. Every family will have unique circumstances and flexible and adaptable staff are requires to weather evolving storms. Overall glad I chose Salterra for my Mom.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The residents in the dining room seemed content. Because we had misunderstood the timing we did not do a tour but did get floor plans. It was clean and neat. The interaction between staff and resident seemed friendly but not as good as some other facilities we've visited.

Most of the staff is fine and helpful. Sometimes his room is neat but I am sure it is who is helping him that day. There were a few rules that the communication was slack but once it got clarified, all is good. He seems content and is not mistreated. His room is comfortable and plenty of room. I am sure no place is perfect but they are doing a good job. For the most part they are friendly, staff and residents. [name removed] is in the memory care area which I am sure makes a difference. He has put some weight on which he needed.

STAFF: I would divide administrative and support. I can't count the times I have been touched when seeing Support staff in the 'gathering' room when passing by a resident just reach out and give a comforting pat or little shoulder rub. So caring and affectionate, reassuring and comforting. I've taken a few meals there and found them very tasty, so the unseen cooks floors below are doing a great job as well. [Name Removed] is a human dynamo and impressed with her attempts to get family members to help with suggestions...E.g. when she found out I was a retired librarian, she asked me for a suggestion for a title she could take on as a read aloud 'book club' activity. I knew one that would be perfect and it's coming any day now from Amazon for her! I could go on in this vein, but had better move on. Some Administration staff Have seemed over-burdened, but with the arrival of the new director, that may resolve itself. One suggestion I would make is that new arrivals' families receive some kind of a booklet to let them know how things are done/managed. I have been impressed with the cleanliness/spotlessness on floor 2. As for room size, I asked for the smallest size out of two floor plans, and understand that [Name Removed] got that. I find it really great! Welcoming and well designed. I have only one problem...my own memory is getting to be far less good, And I'm having a hard time remembering the names of both staff and residents. It would be so helpful if a photo chart could be posted that could be studied at one's leisure rather than having to try to read a badge as the staffer passes.... I think I've hit the high spots on your list... I guess I would have to say that I often thank my lucky stars that [Name Removed]is at Empress and a wonderful bonus is that it is an extremely easy bus ride on the #65 bus, as I gave up the car some years ago...the icing on the cake!

[name removed] my guide was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She even made me some fresh cookies. I really appreciated her knowledge and experience.

My tour was very nice and I received a lot of information. I saw most of the living area for the memory care and I was very impressed. They are still doing some renovations, which are coming along very nice. Everything looked clean and neat and the residence looked well cared for.

Very nice facility. I especially liked the bistro. It was well stocked and active. Fairwinds is currently at 100 % capacity, so it is best to get on the waitlist soon.

Really really like it. Great energy. Good people. Definitely would recommend to others! Staff is super friendly and helpful.

I went and visited my loved one at the community and they were happy participating in the activities. Salterra also has a variety of food for her to choose from. I was watching the restaurant staff and they greeted every resident , they know their names and were happy to take their orders and have a conversation. I was very pleased to see this and look forward to coming back to see my loved one soon

The staff at the community was absolutely wonderful, Sales were very welcoming and gave a very in depth tour of what was going on within the community and included. I left with no questions and felt comfortable putting my family member there. The only thing I feel would need improvement the paint on the community is a little worn and the sitting area outside is not the prettiest

Saltera Senior Living was excellent. Staff is awesome. Especially [names removed]and many other awesome staff who cared for my Mom. Mom passed away there [removed date]. They are very caring and supportive.

I can only comment for Memory Care. This memory care has the most hands, caring and loving staff. They treat our family members like their own family. The director in MC very hands on and keeps up on training staff to care for Dementia patients with dignity and love.

Although you do have to sometimes remind cleaning crew to change linens now and again, Housekeeping is always available and Staff are always around and happy to help. Something that is very important to me that I have found in this community is that the Restaurant Staff knows everyone by name and they know what you like and do not like. The staff is so friendly and always smiling.

I am pleased with the management overall with most of the departments. The maintenance, services, and entertainment departments are very well run. Since the new ownership took over in July the quality and variety of the food has gone down.
