Our family had an in person tour with The Lake at Dunedin and we were not as impressed by the rooms and it was more expensive. However, the people were nice and they had many activities, but it was such a large facility that my Mom would have had to walk a lot to get to things and she has mobility problems.

For the value for cost - I think all places in this industry are overpriced if I'm honest but I also know keeping staff is an issue. However, we would 100% recommend this community to other families, no question . I have had my grandmother in other places so I have a basis for comparison. My father in law is the one in Sage Spring and if we could have afforded, I would put my grandmother there. This place is SO nice. It's clean, staff is professional, it's bright and happy and nicely decorated. I've been to several other Asstited living/Memory care facilities and I'm so impressed with Sage Spring. Compared to others we visited, there was no question when it came time to decide where my father in law would live.

I am looking at multiple places for my mother who needs to move due to changes in her life. I had a wonderful time with the woman who toured me and learned so much about differences in each community as there were so many different choices to look at. This community is older than all the other options out there, which ultimately led my mother to pick another place, but we truly loved meeting the residents along with the employees we did meet.
