Legend Senior Living

The food is generally good. We picked this community, becasue of the friendliness, they had an opening, and so things worked out. We are really pleased, and it is better than the last place. We appreciate the medical care, and they call to let us know what is going on and they communicate very well. I would recommend to other families.

I would tell others that they try very hard to accommodate the desires and habits and personalized care that your loved one may need. I think they are great about giving feedback so that you can feel like your family member is being well cared for and that they actually pay attention to detail and try to customize the care. I like that the facility is smaller and has a better staff-to-resident ratio. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of University Park.

I'm so glad my mom is here at this facility. It's always clean and always smells nice. There's a handful of staff members who know me by name and give me updates on my loved one. Communication with the family is very important to me and it's very good here. I can call and talk to the staff anytime and they really know what's happening with my loved one and also respond quickly. Housekeeping and Laundry are once a week and seem to be very well done. My loved one doesn't participate in the activities (not their fault at all), so I can't really rate those. The only problem I'm currently having is with the business office. They've had some turnover recently and I'm having a hard time getting a call back to address my billing questions. Otherwise, things are great at this facility. I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends.

The Windsor at Gainesville definitely gets 100% 5 stars. We like that the community is on a smaller scale, and of course like most other communities they are understaffed which is their only downfall - the staff that do work there are absolutely wonderful. They are beyond friendly and helpful and if they need help in another area the staff will come help - if they are down workers in the kitchen the director or sales representative will step in and we really like that. The facility itself is very well lit, it is tastefully decorated, they have high ceilings that make it feel much more roomier. The community feels very safe and is functional. It is very pleased to the eye, our loved ones really enjoy their apartment and feel very safe. The dining room is very enjoyable, they have great tablecloths with nice napkins where staff come to take your order. There are multiple meal options. They also have movies every night in the movie theater with popcorn.

Our family had an in person tour and it was excellent, the community itself is brand new so everything on the inside is very nice. The people we met with were very friendly, but because it is pretty expensive our loved one would of not been able to stay for very long.

It's a beautiful facility that is well-maintained and since my mother moved in in July, the staff has been very helpful and patient. Everybody who works there is friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Atria McCandless!

My sister is doing great at Legend. She is happy her needs are met, she has some friends that help watch over her since she's wheel chair bound and mostly non verbal but loves the speech therapist and now has new dentures that fit right which helps with food and speech. It is is a very nice and clean facility and the staff is well trained and listens when we see additional needs for [name removed]

I have actually referred a couple of people. The staff and cleanliness are the two best things about Meadowood. Activities need to be beefed up. It's the exact same thing every week. Need to add something new occasionally. But the activities they provide are attended.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience, the apartment room our loved one would of moved into was actually bigger then the one she moved into at a different community. They had a lot of activities going on and on the tour they were loading up the nursing home folks as well as the assisted living folks and taking them into town to this popular restaurant for lunch. However with our loved one being in a wheelchair it is a much larger facility and it would of been difficult for her to get down the very long hallways. Even though the community is older they have done a very good job keeping it modernized.

It's pretty clean. Everybody that I have talked to, has been very friendly and great. The interaction with the staff is great. My friend is starting to engage more with the activiites. We picked this community, because of the avalability, it was cleaner, the staff seemed friendlier, and it was a close location. I have already recommended Anthology and A Place for Mom to other people.

They have done a great job of making you feel welcome with the whole staff being friendly. The care my loved one received was exceptional by the aides and nursing staff, meals were delicious and making sure she ate if she didn't go to the DR. The sales team was always willing to help even after we signed the contract and during the move in process. They handled a brief Covid outbreak very well. The Director of H& W [names removed] the RN were very helpful as moms health declined Unfortunately mother passed away on [date removed] at the age of 90. I have and will continue to recommend The Landing of OFallon to my friends with aging parents.

Atria at Cranberry Woods is a BEAUTIFUL facility, but the price is astronomical. It would have been $7,000 a month plus treatment. They have 3 levels of care and they segregate the residents based on what their needs are. The young lady who showed me around really did a great job.

Mom is very pleased and feeling blessed to be at The Windsor. We couldn't agree more! Staff is friendly, thorough, and outgoing. The facility is clean and offers activities. Housekeeping and laundry services are also available I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The facility was so accommodating and helpful when we moved her in. She, I think, is quite content. I would recommend Green Tree to others looking.

Honestly, I loved Windsor, it was probably my overall favorite, and was slightly closer to our home. Amenities, Cleanliness, Friendless, Level of care, were pretty much the same as [facility name removed], and it was slightly closer to our home, and I liked that it was all one story, but there was about a $500 per month price difference, and my husband made the final call since it's his mother, opting to make her money last as long as possible, while still knowing we are getting the "most bang for our buck". The thing that stuck out the most to me was that the residents seemed active and happy while at the facility, not just on outings. Residents were getting out of their rooms, sitting outside or in the common areas, and participating in activities on the premises.

This was a nice community, just out of our reach.

They made it an easy process in a very difficult situation. I live out of state, and their communication with me is excellent. They text and call me often. They let me know if they change my loved one's meds. I appreciate that they keep me well informed. The care has been very good. Activities are great. I've been very happy with Legend at Rivendell.

All of the staff goes above and beyond for the residents. [name removed] has been fantastic to work with and made the transition extremely easy. The apartments are beautiful , the food is great and the activities are awesome. The residents seem very happy and well cared for at Atria McCandless. It has been such a positive experience so far for my father. He’s smiling, making friends and the happiest I’ve seen him in a long time. Such a relief to know he is in good hands and enjoying himself. Thank you Atria!

I loved the community and it is beautiful. This is a newer community as well. The drawback was it was a little further from doctors and family for our loved one.

I would recommend the Ivy to anyone looking for a good retirement plan. My daughter found this for me and I have been here a year! The food is great too! The activities are fun and full filling! Never a dull moment! If you come here, be sure to enter all the activities! We have programs of all types! People from outside come in with talent of different kind!
