My mom has lived at the Windsor Gainesville since it opened in [date removed]. She has been very happy there and finds the staff and ambiance much nicer than a prior assted living facility in Gainesville run by Enlivant. She would have me give The Windsor a 5 except that there have been dining issues on and off. All and all, the staff is terrific and very caring. Mom's apartment is kept very clean and can chose to do her own laundry if she wants. She can be as active as she likes and attends exercise class every day. We don't have any needed medical or nursing care for her so we can't comment on that but we do know that [names removed] are terrific LPNs. Thank you to the Windsor for our peace of mind.

Very well maintained. The Director is active with the residents, including going on lunch outings once a month! There are a variety of activities available at the facility as well as off-property, including fishing and concerts. The residents are engaged and well-groomed. Feels like a home, not an institution.

My wife has been at Legend Memory Care Unit for over 2 months. It has been an adjustment for both of us. We are making progress. The staff has been good to my wife and me. She has a private room with toilet & shower. She likes the large window in the room to see the outdoors. She uses a walker and needs help with showers . The staff found a way to convince her to take showers and that is good. Also, what has helped she can go from her room to walk or visit with staff & residents in the activity & dining area. She likes being able to select the food for meal times. The layout of the 15 bed unit is clean and comfortable to be in. Adjacent to the dining area is a secure outdoor area to be used in good weather, she looks forward in using it. I m able to spend some time with her most days. It helps both of us to walk together and visit and thank God for our many blessing.

Like the area. My sister in law lives near here. I was an RN in nursing homes for 40 years

I like living here. My wide is in poor health after enjoying 90 years of energetic life. She is receiving thoughtful care here. I visit the ATM and draw a little of my retired pay once a month. My biggest cash layout here is for the barber. I paint and don't have time to draw my annual Christmas card! Food here is good, we are working with the chef to get this place up to 5 stars

The staff work very hard to care for residents, stay polite, and attend to special needs. My mom was VERY difficult in memory care with colostomy issues also and they stayed on top of things pretty good. We did have to hire an aid during the day for a while when things were very bad. I think they need more RN's and LPN's that can assist with dressing changes and meds more timely. Weekends were often sparsely covered so we, family, tried to be around more to assist. Activities were often sparse on weekends too but parents also could not participate much in what they had. I would say compared to another facility we tried and others I have worked with or at, HarborChase does a pretty good job. We stayed non-confrontational when issues did arise and the supervisors did their best to find resolution. My mom passed recently with hospice and the staff has been very supportive to my dad who is still there. It was great to have him close enough in assisted living to visit mom in memory care easily.

We were very fortunate to find Legends for mom. She has been well taken care of. We never wanted to take mom out of her home, but we had no choice. Legend has been the best place for her.

We toured many homes before choosing Arbor House for my mom. She is in the memory care unit at Arbor House. This home is clean, the staff are like family and they care for our mom like she is her family. The staff is very kind and optimistic. Alzheimer's can be very difficult for the person and for their family. The staff at Arbor House make the residents feel very relaxed and comfortable. I would highly recommend this community.

I absolutely love this amazing house. I appreciate and trust in [name removed], she is caring, compassionate,great & her heart is truly in her job/extended family at prairie house. I look forward to taking mom for lunch Friday.

Seems to be a friendly, caring place. At present, it reminds me of living in a motel room. Kitchen area is just a long counter space and no range. They are getting ready for a major renovation. Didn't ask when they plan to start.

Best fit so far. Very appealing layout. Small, personal. [Name removed] is great at what she does.

Too expensive, but a beautiful facility. I remember when it was Balmoral.

Very nice and clean. Nice staff. Apartments are a little small, only single beds fit in the 1 bedroom apartments; but the set up is good. My mother just didn't feel the community was right for her.

We had a very nice visit at Sunrise. [Removed] was well prepared for our tour. They have a good staff, things were clean and orderly. It had a nice atmosphere. They offer a level of care that we are probably looking for in the future. The rooms were smaller than [Removed], but the level of care was a better match for what we think will be needed.

The staff members here are phenomenal. I love the services they have to offer and the building is very clean. They have recently remodeled the nursing station and it is very well organized. The dining room looks nice and the biggest complaint we have is about the food. They need a better chef because the food is bland and there aren’t that many options. For activities, they offer things like an in-house salon, manicures, social hours every day, and field trips. I would recommend this facility to other families.

Overall, Our experience with Legend at Fort Worth has been very good. The staff is fantastic and quite capable, and I really like them all. They treat my loved one with a lot of respect, I know that she is as comfortable as she can be, and I know she is safe and secure. I will say that there are certain things that were advertised that are not coming to fruition for us. Maintenance issues within the community are very slow to be fixed. It has taken several months for a tub to be repaired. The bistro in the community was advertised as being more full service than it is. I would just like to see the advertising within the community be more accurate for prospective residents as well as those already there. Despite these things, I still really like the community and I know my loved one is well cared for.

This community was selected on the very first round of finding a memory care community for my husband. Unfortunately, they wouldn't accept my husband in his condition. Their marketing director was very nice and helpful to our family. I would recommend this community for consideration.

My family member is here currently, things seem to be going okay. It’s a tough transition but the people there seem to be doing okay. There’ve been a couple of times I’ve had questions on showers and housekeeping and it doesn’t seem like they’re holding up their end of that but we’re working on it. I haven’t had the chance to try the food but I’ve been there a couple of times when they’ve brought it out. It doesn’t look like hospital food, it looks well balanced and nutritious. The building itself is smaller and there are less residents so I was hoping my loved one would get more one-on-one care because of it. Housekeeping is supposed to come by on Fridays but there’ve been a couple of times I’ve come in and inspected the room and it doesn’t look like they’ve ever been in there. They’re supposed to vacuum, mop, and help my loved one with laundry but you can tell looking at the bed sheets that they haven’t been washed. A few things my loved one came in with have gone missing and I’ve tried talking to them about it but they don’t know where those things are. I don’t know why these things are happening and I’m really hoping that they weren’t just trying to impress us when we took the tour.
