I thought they were very helpful. They were very thorough in their explanation of how things worked, what their expectations were of us, and what we could expect from them. They were very good with communication. Anytime anything happened, they called me to let me know, even regarding minor things. I felt like they were very transparent in what was going on. Our only issue, which I believe was related to Covid, is they were either short-staffed, or we constantly had different staff. I think they took illnesses and potential exposures to Covid very seriously with quarantine periods, and I think that affected the property a great deal. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. You hear horror stories about care facilities, and that was not the case here.

From what we can see of the community it seems to be pretty clean, and the staff members are all pretty friendly.

The staff makes it a great place to be. They do a great job. The new Executive Director is on the ball. The apartment is nice. The food is good, and delivered on time with a variety of different meals. They offer a variety of things for men and women for activities.

Our loved one tells us all the time that the food is good, and due to the covid restrictions all the activities they normal have are put to a stop. We just have a really good feeling that our loved one is well taken care of there. The grounds in the summer and fall are beautiful with all the gardens. We were able to visit outside last year on the porch and just being able to sit our there with the flowers was very nice.

We chose Renaissance North Tampa because she liked the atmosphere, the people, and the activities that were provided. The apartment sizes here are comfortable, they do vary in size. She has one of the smaller ones but she has plenty of space. I would recommend.

My mom and I toured this facility today in the search for her new home. I really liked facility. There were so many common spaces, activity rooms, a real movie theater, library and a great outdoor patio. It was very clean and the residents were present in the common areas and seemed active. This is a real contender on our list!

We believe they have good activities, but because of covid she has not been able to participate in them. They are more affordable then most and they do a pretty good job, she is well taken of care and getting healthy. They do a good job creating a care plan for the person.

I chose this facility because I am only down here for the winter and they have a snowbird apartment that is fully furnished. The apartment size is adequate for what I need. All of the staff member here are super friendly and helpful. They have a new manager here who is trying to improve thing. I would recommend, I do not know anyone here who is unhappy here.

I would recommend the community to others. It is a smaller community that is quiet. They are going through a ownership change.

Overall, the care has been good here and we would recommend Parkwest. I do feel they are doing the best they can in a tough situation. We are having issues with the long term care paperwork. My mom is not happy at all with the food, she feels like it is very spicy and not very palatable. We are excited for things to open up since we had to move her here during the pandemic.

We chose Willow Bend because when we visited they had more information, we spoke directly to the director, and she was the one who actually took us on our tour. My parents primary care physician also recommended it to us because his mother was there. The room sizes here are small but adequate, my parents live here together and it is just a little smaller than their previous apartment. Communication can be hit or miss. Overall, it has been a good experience and I would recommend them.

The communication in the community could be better. I have trouble getting ahold of people sometimes. I would definitely recommend this community to others

The people who work at Rovermont community are incredibly nice and friendly, our mom loves them. However the facility does a really bad job of trying to integrate new residents. They are no new activities for the residents, they do not reach out to them and they don't help them sign up for things.

We did not have a good experience here at the Linden. She got covid when she was here. The facility charged us for her room after she had passed so we were not happy about that. They have just seemed kind of stand off-ish and have not been empathetic. Before all of this happened, it did seem like a nice comfortable facility and the director was nice to work.

We chose Rivermont Independent Living because of the value for the money as well as the location. The apartment sizes here fit her needs perfectly. Overall, it has been a good experience and I would definitely recommend.

I would tell others that the community has about everything you would need for your apartment size. It is a little overpriced, but otherwise it is very nice. It is good community.

The community is pretty good overall. There was some staff that was terrific, and some that weren't as good.

The facility is beautiful and the care was good. The administration was not as helpful and we struggled with them. The maintenance man was amazing and he was quick to fix any issues. The activities were very good and they tried hard to engage the residence.

Overall the community is clean, however we do think they could do a little bit better of a job assisting our loved one with cleaning her room. The rooms sizes are pretty good, our loved one has a one bedroom, with a refrigerator, sink and a microwave.

I would tell others that we have had a great experience at Anthology of McCandless. We are very happy with the facility and would recommend it to anyone that is looking.
