Legend Senior Living

My mother has been at Legends of Rivendell for almost 4 years and we could not be more pleased with her care. The facility is beautiful And well maintained but most important, the staff has been so loving and caring with my mother. It takes a special person to work in memory care and Legends seems to find the right people. My mother is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s and they have worked with hospice to provide the right level of care for her. We have recommended many others to Legends and feel confident in our recommendation. It is expensive but well worth the cost.

We're very happy with them so far. The staff has been very helpful. We had some little concerns about getting our loved one to agree to go there. Move-in day we thought was going to be horrible. And it wasn't fun, but they did everything they could do to help. They listened to our concerns, gave us their advice, and then sent us on our way with assurance that they could handle it from there. And it was the right thing to do and the right way to handle it. She's in the memory care side, and pretty much every time we come, she's outside of her room participating in activities, listening to music, watching movies. They have a Facebook page where we see photos of her doing activities. And that's exactly what we wanted for her, to not just be sitting in her room.

I would tell others that I find it to be a nice, friendly, and caring community. The communication has been very good with the staff. I've not had any issues with the community. There was a time that there was a leaky faucet and they fixed it the same day.

We chose Legend at Council Road because I felt that it was the cleanest, the best, the staff were friendly. They were also very careful with their covid protocols. They bend over backwards and are independently owned which I liked, they treat residents as if they were their own family. It also was a little cheaper as far as the room itself than some of the others we looked at. The room sizes are good, they have anything from efficiency to small 1 bedrooms and it is more than enough for 1 person. They also have 2 sizes of 1 bedrooms. They feed my mom some chicken dish and it is not good at all, that is the only one I have been around for. It seems something that was frozen and not freshly homemade but I am not sure about the other meals. They usually have 2 different entrees that they are able to choose from. I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking.

The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch was very nice, and our tour was very good. There was nothing wrong, it just came down to personal preference. I didn’t love the layout of the rooms, and there wasn't the outdoor space and outdoor pool we were looking for. It was also a little more expensive. We just ended up liking another place a little better.

My Mom has lived at Anthology since 2019 due to dementia and it is a beautiful place with lovely amenities. The staff is so kind and caring to all of the residents and I am so happy we found this place. Residents have their own apartments and they are beautiful. The staff is attentive and there are many activities to attend. The pricing is reasonable compared to other places we viewed, especially for a relatively new facility.

Adorable! The colors are inviting, the atmosphere heals just by looking at the pics, love everything but a bit too pricy for me... would have have full understanding of the costs of living at Windsors. Beautiful!

It is a well ran community. The staff is caring. The management team is attentive. The only drawback is the medtech seem to have a problem in staffing. I believe they need to do better job at this. If temps are brought in, they seem to not know what medicines should be given to my loved one.

I was impressed that [name removed] had notes from our phone all and had answers. I got to meet other staff and see a variety of apartments as well as other features. Moving my mom to Edmond after my dad died in December is a big deal, and every staff member was patient and helpful in every way. I put a deposit down on a specific room because I feel strongly that this could be my mom's next home. Impressive menu, activities, cleanliness, decor, and each apartment is like a tiny house!

We toured Legend at Broomfield and really like the facility. The only reason we did not choose them was because during covid they were wanting to place my dad in assisted living for 14 days to quarantine rather than memory care and he would have just walked out.

It is accommodating and a friendly community. The take the time to explain things you may have questions on, and they anticipate questions you may have. They have movies, exercise classes, special events and more for the residents to choose from to participate in for activities.

They have a 3rd party that provides the care services and they are good. I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community has made the transition easy for my loved one and family.

My mother has been with the community in the memory care facility at the Legend at Broomfield for over two years now.  The staff have been amazing, comforting, and helpful particularly over the past year.  My mom has had her ups and downs over the past two years and the staff have helped me through it all.  Prior to COVID I enjoyed being able to visit with staff and participants and the activities were amazing! The food is great and I would often join her for meal time!  I am looking forward to that again. The staff have helped me through this journey and are now helping me through hospice for her end of life care and needs.  The facility is lovely and the staff are friendly and welcoming.  I have appreciated their help and support.  My mother is comfortable and happy.  It brings me comfort to see her face light up when the staff walk into her room:)

I would tell others that my loved one loves it here. This isn't for everybody, but worth looking into the community for your loved one. They make sure a staff member checks on my loved one. The staff address any concerns we may have such as maintenance. They have been strict about keeping the residents safe during the pandemic. I really like this about the community.
