I am a new resident at the Residence at Brookside I am enjoying my comfortable apartment. The associates are friendly and responsive. I would recommend the community. I am enjoying attending the exercise classes.

I work for an area homecare agency and I have visited residents here several times. I am impressed with the cleanliness of the whole community as well as the friendliness of the staff. Whenever I am talking to my clients, they always say they are happy and really enjoy living at Suffield by the River.

This place is a great place for any family member to live. My mom lives here and she loves it. She has so many friends and the staff is so friendly. I love going to visit her and seeing her so happy and well taken care of. I would highly recommend this place.

We would definitely recommend The Residence at Stafford to others. From our initial contact with the staff to mom's daily interactions, the staff has been friendly and caring. We interviewed at several assisted living facilities and chose The Residence for many reasons. [name removed] is very welcoming in his approach to new guests, the building and grounds are clean, well maintained and modern and the apartments are spacious, updated and bright! Our Dad has lived there for almost two months and he has had excellent care from the entire staff - from medical to maintenance. We highly recommend it!

Frank always goes out of his way to make sure everyone that walks in the door feels welcome. The residents are truly valued, respected and well taken care of. Suffield by the River really feels like home to my family and sister. All of the employees work so hard to make every day special. We looked at many places and Suffield stood out as the place my sister could really call home. We are beyond happy with our choice.

I highly recommend The Residence at Glastonbury. The building is beautiful and clean; the staff is truly caring. I enjoy going there because everyone is very friendly and on top of their care for the residents. The activities director is also amazing and always has something fun to do for the residents!

My mother has been at Suffield by the River for 2 years now. One year in an assisted living apartment and now one year in Reflections memory care. She made the transition with no problems. The staff is so very helpful and caring. [name removed] the Reflection director is beyond knowledgeable and helpful to your needs or resident. The facility itself is beautiful, it’s in a quiet area. My mom has many CNA’S that look after her. I applaud them all for their dedication and hard work. Take a tour, see for yourself how nice the Reflections Community is.

We were saddened when our family member was diagnosed with dementia and needed more specialized care than we could give her at home. The staff at Suffield by the River and Reflections memory care made the transition much easier for us. From the friendly front desk staff to the skilled health care staff we have been very happy with the care and attention she has received. Their administrators are always available to answer questions and respond quickly. The food is excellent and all activities are geared to help those who need memory care. We can rest easy knowing she is getting the best care.

Beautiful facility! caring and compassionate staff and excellent food. highly recommend. I have been a volunteer here for several months and I enjoy helping the residents playing games, fixing computers and cell phones or just plain old chatting

I have had a great experience with all of the people and amenities that's I've come in contact with here. I trust them and feel comfortable with everything thru have to offer. Overall, just a great group.

My father has spent the last 4 months in the memory care unit, Reflections, at Suffield by the River and I couldn't be happier with the care he has received. He has advanced dementia and was quite difficult, but I was always amazed by how effectively the staff redirected and distracted him when he would act out. He was unhappy when he first arrived, but once he settled in, it was clear he was happy here. He would follow the staff around and want to socialize with them and keep them from working. They would just smile and interact with him, and eventually try to lead him back to group activities, often unsuccessfully. I was told many times, by many different staff members, how much they loved my dad. It gave me considerable peace knowing he was cared for by people who truly cared for him. I can't recommend Suffield by the River Reflections unit more strongly.

I visited this community as I was searching options for my dad. The community had a sign to welcome me for my visit which I thought was very nice. The community was clean and bright. A nice woman helped a resident read a card she got in the mail that day. It was a nice feeling to know that they go beyond their normal duties to help the people who live there. The sales director was very nice and able to answer all my questions. My dad is looking forward to moving into his new apartment!
