The place at Atria Woodbridge is incredibly clean, very immaculate. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. There are a couple of things I would improve. For one, I think that when someone comes in, they need more of an introduction to get them oriented to how things operate. It took mom a while to figure how when and how to do certain things. Second, mom is really struggling right now with the food. They are old people. They complain that the vegetables are too hard, the food is not always hot, etc. They also are getting a little fancy with the food, where as I think they would prefer simple classics done right. Despite a couple of small areas for improvement, overall we are very happy and impressed with Atria Woodbridge, especially the friendliness of everyone there.

I think they do a good job overall at Balfour. The facility itself is very nice, and the staff are all very friendly. This location didn't quite work out for me, but I like Balfour enough that I am moving to another community of theirs in an area I know better.

They were nice and it was clean. We went and looked at them. It was a nice place, but I felt they were just too expensive.

I liked the variety of services offered and available activities for residents. Apts are small - but kitchenette includes stove/oven. Drawback - many apts face out onto a major intersection or busy streets.

This is a very structured environment, this works best for our loved one. They go and round people up for activities to encourage participation. The pricing is quite competitive and it's all inclusive, there aren't a lot of added charges. I felt very disconnected from the community at first, but they took that feedback and instituted a meet and greet and put in place a support group. They take very good care of the residents but not necessarily the family. The continuum of care is good and the majority of the population are at the same place she is physically and mentally, so it was a good match.

Their skilled nursing, I thought, was really good but I realized that he was just getting weaker and more and more dependent on them and he was not in a good mood there. I think it's a super good program but it was not the place my husband needed to be.

It looked good. They didn't have as immediate opportunity as other communities we were looking at. They were probably not quite as nice - the room wasn't quite as nice and new although it did have some good points to it. They were actually very interesting but they weren't as available as soon as we needed.

It's a nice facility, one of the things we did liek about it was they have a completely different building for folks who need more care; so the activities are geared based on where you live. The layout of the apartment and things like that she didn't like it as much, but other than that, the staff and the woman who took us on the tour were all friendly. The residents all appeared very happy and very engaged in what was going on and I think it may have been a good place for her.

I'm not the person living there, it's my sister. I think they provide a lot of value for the money it's just that my sister is not taking advantage of it. The activities are great, but again, my sister is not participating. They have movies, bingo, excursions off the premises - they have a very good program there. I would certainly recommend it. I just thought they were very warm towards the residents there and they've been very cooperative with us.

She was there for years but they were not equipped for the care she ended up needing. We ended up having to bring in extra help there. It's a really nice place but they were just not equipped for someone who needs a lot of care.

When I first saw it I though, well that's just too expensive. Now I'm considering that option again becasue for the same money that I'm paying at another place we could get the shower assistance and a little help in the morning and the evening and I could go back to administering the medicines myself and we would have to pay for that. I'm just giving it some thought. We did eat lunch over there and it was good. They have a Sweedish cook and lots of options like in a restaurant. I didn't seem like home cooking but there is a beautiful salad bar. The staff seemed very engaged and friendly.

Nice facility. Independent living and asssisted living are separate but can combine. Liked the wall of vets and all the amenities. Meals not regimented.

Saw previously very nice facility. Clean, all needs would be covered. No respite care to see if he likes, have to bring furniture for tryout.

Newer facility ... nice common areas. Bedroom appears smaller than Inn at the Park. Know friends parents who have been here & liked it.

I really liked this place. The one bedroom was very nice as well as the studio I was shown that had a fireplace.

Attractive common areas, nice memory care unit. Could be ok, but the rooms are TINY

Very small kitchenette. A waiting list for 2 bedroom apartments.

1. VT gives their residents. 2. VT has always shown very good effort to keep residents safe, monitor closely for everyone (staff, COVID free) 3. Very comfortable to stay at VT. Dislikes Better choice of movies: not enough, cleaner movies, a few too many distasteful movies. Bring in more (Educator) speakers.

We chose Heritage Greens because they had multiple gardens in the memory care center and I was able to take him outside and he really enjoyed that. The room sizes here are adequate for his needs. I haven't eaten here, but my husband enjoyed the food. They were very accommodating with his gluten free diet. The best part about this community was the friendliness of everyone. They had pods of 12 residents so it was easier to make friends. I would want others to know that you have to stand up for yourself as far as getting things done. Overall, I felt like he was adequately taken care of here.
