Park Terrace had been a large part of our lives! We will miss everyone here at Park Terrace! We will return to visit friends.

For the most part, it has been good. They probably could have spent just a little more individual time when my parents moved in to familiarize them with things in the apartment as well as within the facility itself to let them know how things work. With an older clientele, the residents might not remember a large amount of information presented all at once. So periodic follow-ups would be nice. The cafeteria is currently closed down due to Covid, and the food is not quite as good as when they first moved in. But we have seen that they offer lots of activities and do things for the different holidays, which has been nice. The apartment is nice overall, but they could have done a better job cleaning and getting everything ready for move-in. There were plumbing issues, and the HVAC unit had not been truly cleaned. One of the biggest issues has been that on a couple of occasions, the maintenance personnel has just opened the door to their apartment without announcing themselves or knocking or anything, which was disturbing.

The staff were all so nice at Woodland Terrace. They were cooperative with us and our needs and we were very impressed. I loved the apartment that she had here. Unfortunately they did not have room in the assisted living portion of the facility, so we had to look elsewhere.

[Name removed] took me on a tour and sat down and explained the benefits of living there. She was great!

I have only lived here a short time but all my experiences have been positive. It is a learning curve to learn a new lifestyle but all staff has been helpful. The food is better than you would expect. Food service is not good at all but I can be hopeful that is due to staff problems and will soon improve.

Beautiful community, great location. Residents are nice. We have great events.

As far as communities go this place is tops. The help is wonderful, friendly, helpful, and caring. The food has its good days and bad. The transportation is outstanding. Who could ask for more.

Everyone does their best to make this a happy "home" experience. They have done an exceptional job during this pandemic!!!

The friendly people and staff are a big draw as well as all the many activities and social activities.

Great food, good staff, good activities, charming staff loves a good job. Lots of nice people live here. Location is great. Living quarters are very nice.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The activities are great. The food is average.

The people are delightful. Both the residents and staff. I enjoy the menu especially the baked potato with butter.

If a person is capable of taking charge of their own schedule it is a great place. If they are not capable of this it will not work. The administration staff were really good and if you had a complaint they took care of it right away.

My mother moved into First Colonial July 2021. So far I have been really impressed with the staff and the community. Everyone there has been very helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure my mother is taken care of. It was a difficult move her, leaving her home of 20 years in Alexandria, however everyone at First Colonial has made her feel welcome and she is very happy there. I highly recommend First Colonial Inn!

Our experience has been very good except for staffing problems during Covid. Their response time to call buttons was at times longer than it should be. And I don't think they ever had staffing up to 100%. Also, I was somewhat disappointed that when we needed to consider moving my mother from assisted living to the associated Balfour nursing facility across the street that we couldn't do so. They told us it was out of their hands due to a Covid outbreak, that the state was not allowing move-ins at that time. But overall I would recommend Balfour to people. They certainly stood out as being the best in the area. The food is excellent. The chef put innovative things on the table, and the menus were more than ordinary. I really enjoyed eating there with my mother. They offered all sorts of activities, for instance they had music groups coming in, bingo which was pretty well attended and my mother enjoyed, different groups coming in doing various talks about trips and interesting places to go, discussions on current events. There seemed to be interesting things going on every day. I was also really pleased with A Place for Mom's service and how they responded to us.

We chose Balfour Assisted Living Littleton because of the convenient location for me, it allows me to go over and see her more often. I was looking for an upgrade in the quality of care and we definitely did find that here. The room layout of the living space makes it seem smaller, but the bedroom and the bathroom are large. The maintenance staff is unbelievably fantastic, they go above and beyond and they are the nicest people. The nursing staff are also amazing. The administrator of care is not the best at communication, whenever I email her I do not get a response back. She is very friendly and engaged with all the residents, but I do think the communication with families could be improved. I would recommend them to others who are looking.

Be careful if you are moving in. I have lived here for 9 months and I have experienced theft in my apartment and It makes me want to stay close. They do have a lot of activities but I do not participate often. They need better security.

On our tour, I got lost walking around there. If I was getting lost, then my mom for sure would get lost too.

I like the caregivers. I feel safe here. The atmosphere is very nice. The food could be better.
