We chose Drake Terrace because we took my mom her and she liked it, it was in a close and familiar area, and it is a medium size, not too big not too small. The facility also looks very nice and the staff members were very easy to work with. The room sizes here seem plenty big for what she needs. We have not experienced much yet but their social activities are starting to open back up, so we are excited about that. I would recommend to others looking.

We shopped around, approached with some trepidation and decided let's give it a try. If it doesn't work we are not locked in. We like the location, the sylvan setting, the architecture. To our surprise this many people living this close together really works. We have enjoyed making many new friends. Our Executive Director is [name removed]. He is quite young and quite capable. To us he personifies Magnolia Glen. He provides mature concern for our health, welfare and safety. With a good ear for reasonable requests his door is always open. He stays in touch with our families and makes them feel at home when they can visit. He stays aware of NC DHHS COVID-19 protocols and diplomatically implements them for our safety. Our unique COVID-19 group testing program includes residents and associates. [name removed] communicates well with our resident association and is an effective advocate for residents in Kisco Corporate Councils. He makes sure to keep us informed of news both good and bad. We feel our input is listened to and fairly implemented. A good manager, his staff has high moral and performs well. We feel secure and at home here. We're glad we chose Magnolia Glen.

Atria Park of Woodbridge is a grand community for Seniors who live in the Irvine, CA area. It is a beautiful property in Orange County. The Executive Director brings love and joy and happiness to the Residents each and every single day. The new Bistro is great addition, there is a brand new dining room, and the community has one of the best, safe, secure, backyards with a fantastic walking path.

Cedarwood at Sandy is moving slowly and cautiously into more interaction between residents. The dining room just opened this week with two per table and a plexiglass divider between the diners. The wait staff were not prepared for this and service in the dining room is slow. Social distancing is observed in all indoor activities and as long as the weather holds we will do many things in the courtyard. The restrictive policies on going "off campus" are pretty severe which puts a strain on the support system that each of has outside of our community. In other words, a trip to the hair salon downtown will cost you a 2 week quarantine. likewise, a trip to your dentist or doctor will cost you two weeks in quarantine. BUT we have no Covid cases and intend to keep it that way.

We chose this community because after we looked at five different places, we felt this community had a better variety of activities, the staff seemed very good, very friendly,and very willing to help when you needed it. The food is excellent. They have a really good chef and they offer quite a large variety. With COVID, they have been very proactive in closing things down and protecting the residents and staff. They have not had any cases so far. I would recommend this community to other families.

This is what senior living should be everywhere. Quality care and service in a quiet unassuming way. Signature by name and by nature.

This is the closest to living in your own home. I like the friends I have made here rather than being alone. I love the food and the selection that it offers. I like the games that are offered such as Black Jack Dice and Bingo and other activities. They offer bus rides and shopping to Walmart and other stores. They take us to movies. They have movies in our Multipurose three times a week. They have a beauty shop for hair and nails and pedicures. They have at Cedarwood docters who will come to your rooms.

A friendly, well-managed home for senior residents. Pleasant dining room with varied menu and good food. My friends are so happy they live here.

Came 1 1/2 years ago with my husband who has dementia. He is now in a board-care facility but I have stayed. Find the facility clean, comfortable and safe. All staff are friendly and helpful and do everything possible to accommodate needs. Nearly all residents are welcoming and kind. Food, with the new General Manager, has gone from good to excellent. Sometimes there are delays in service, but not terrible. Variety of activities.

Mom has lived in the assisted living side just over a year now and it has been a great year. The CNAs are wonderful and stay on top of things. Everyone is super friendly and have helped mom with the transition. Food is ok. Have had some issues with it not being served hot but when I communicated this they have been responsive. The property itself is lovely and I feel blessed that I can have my mom here. I have never had a time where I have made a comment about something where it hasn’t been quickly addressed which is awesome. Overall no major issues and feel like it it the best place in Raleigh to have my mom.

My dad lived in the memory care at La Posada. We were all very pleased with the community and the care he received. He recently passed away at the age of 90. I searched all over for the best memory care unit when it was time. One important factor for me was I didn't want it to be all women, many memory care units are. The whole time my dad was at La Posada they had 30-40 % men. They also had a nice outside area and take the residents out of the secured area regularly and even take them on regular field trips to different places. The staff is caring and were great with my family as well as my dad.

I liked this community when we visited. It is beautiful and they offer some great amenities. The community is clean and the people I met were nice. This community was just a little more expensive that what we were looking for.

after many visits to different assisted living facilities to be exact ten places, we concluded that Atria Woodbridge offered what we were looking for to fulfill our Mother's needs. She has now been living at Atria Woodbridge for one month, and we can't say enough about the love, care, and kindness it gives to our Mother. needless to say she has had some challenges with health and the move but it all has been met with satisfying assistance. It's staff is always available for whatever she may need, nursing care, the food is wonderful with a large menu selection, there's entertainment , music, outings daily, beautiful gardens which are very well kept. And, I am greeted with a smile every time I walk through the door! We couldn't be happier with the choices we made...

I am celebrating my one week anniversary at Balfour at Riverfront Park in Denver. In this short time I have been welcomed by staff and residents alike. They all remember my name and are happy to remind me of theirs. The neighborhood is very vibrant, almost more like San Francisco than Denver. All ages are visible near the parks and people watching from benches or outdoor cafes is very pleasant. My dog is welcomed in the entry area and any public space where food is not available. Coffee or tea is a;ways available, If I want to take a some to my apartment, the concierge is wiling to hold his leash while I grab a cup to go. The services and amenities are exactly as described. I couldn't be happier. I thank Sandy from A Place For Mom for finding this location for me.

I found everyone I met to be not only friendly, but very willing to help in any way my Mother or I felt was needed. Atria staff went out of it's way, on more than one occasion, to make sure my Mother had what ever it was she felt she needed. I wish she had been more motivated to get out of her room to explore what was available and make some new friends rather than to stay inside and organize her things. I think she would have very much enjoyed her stay more, felt less alone and been around longer. And I would be able to give you a better, more comprehensive and glorious review.

Caring nurturing environment for assisted living. Many useful fun activities and great amenities for independent living

BridgePoint has a wonderful wellness program for residents, though not it is not for everyone. I recommend BridgePoint for those who don't need memory care and are still cognitively present. My mother in law has complained about having a little trouble getting clean towels. Alma, the director of personal care is a real rocket, she is great. This is a wonderful place for people with more going on, but may become isolating for those who cannot keep up.

For what we paid, $[removed], we expected much more. The facility and my mother's room was not always very clean, she had to share a room (we expected she would have a room to herself), there were no readily available trained nursing staff or doctors (we were expecting that). There were very few staff at night and other patients would wander into my mother's room; if my mother had fallen I don't know how she could have readily gotten help. Having said all of that, in the three months my mother was there her health actually improved. Having a nurse at least once a week monitoring her meds and adjusting them was a great benefit, and treating her UTI and the physical therapy helped her stability and stamina. We were hoping though for more medical TREATMENT for her dementia, insomnia, and anxiety. There was none of that.

They walked us through the entire experience , answered all our questions. We got to experience their cafe for lunch and the food was very good. Met some residents during our tour and they all spoke highly of the community. The move in process went well and my parents seem to be happy living there I feel we found a good place for out parents.

The staff was awesome! My mom was in the hospital a couple times, and it would have been nice if somebody had called me to ask me how she was doing. Maybe they don't do that? She had to go to rehab 3 weeks before she passed away and unfortunately no one called me then either to see how she was doing.
