My loved one is doing welll. The staff gets back to me, with phone calls/texts. Overall, the staff is pretty good, and very friendly. My loved one loves the breakfast, in which they offer them low sodium meals. Meal time is important. There is a lot of activities, and my loved one seems to enjoy them. My loved one is interacting with other people, and has made new friends. Overall, I am getting value for the money.

Overall I thought this was a good community with good pricing. The only drawback was there was no guarantee of a private room for my loved one.

I toured Butler Street Senior Living and it was really nice. The people were really nice and very friendly. The one thing I was uncomfortable with was the different flooring, and the metal stairs to go up and down; although there's an elevator. There was also only one shower per maybe 8 rooms. So you'd have to walk down the hallway to get to it. The community we chose has a shower and bathroom right in the room. The price was comparable to the other community, but chose them instead.

The staff are great (although they seem short staffed). But my parents hate the food, and there are limited activities.

The staff members are friendly for the most part and the community itself is well organized and clean throughout, but the house keeping could be a little bit better in our loved ones room. Their communication process with the families could be improved - we have had a couple of issues when it comes to the individual care services provided for our loved one like medication management.

The primary reason that we chose Butler Street was the location, it is close to the major hospitals. It also it a newer and clean facility. The price was very reasonable for all that they offered. The room sizes are very good, we are very happy with it. We are also super happy with all of the staff as well. They are friendly and seem to try to meet any questions or concerns that I have had. If they do not have an answer, they get me one as fast as they can. So far things are going. I would recommend the facility and already have. They offer a referral incentive so that was really nice.

The meals provide a lot of options to choose from and the food is good. They show movies, games, beer and pretzel nights, amongst other activities. Housekeeping comes twice a week. Laundry services are as needed. They provide transportation to doctors appointments. They offer group trips periodically. They send me a monthly invoice for billing. They offer a security necklace with an emergency button on it for all residents.

I would recommend this community for you or your loved one. They have activities like movie day, entertainment that comes in and more for the residents to do to stay busy. The tour was good and I was pleased and they gave me all the information I needed about this community.

I liked this community just as well as the other that I was looking at. I just went with another community due to the layout of the room. We felt like the other rooms just worked out better for my loved one.

Our family had an in person tour and our loved one did not really care for the shared suites living situation

I really liked Bentley Commons, we had a good tour experience. The reason we did not choose them was due to the proximity and they had add on fees here so we would not know what we are paying each month.

The meals and dining service and the activities at Butler Street are excellent. It is a very nice community.

Bentley Commons is a very welcoming and very lively place, when we came to tour there was a lot of activity going on. One of the main reasons we chose this community is because they have an arrangement with an outside therapy company that offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy. However since our loved one has not been there they have not had a speech therapist. We know staffing is a struggle but that has been our biggest disappointment so far.

Under the circumstances it is one of the better communities around for your loved one.

We chose Butler Street because of the flexible choice of the level of care. They have a fixed rate for the apartment and up to 5 different levels of care ranging from minimal/none to dementia care that requires full supervision and daily assistance. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

The community is very clean, the staff members have been great and when it comes to the care services they wait on our loved one hand and foot. She is extremely happy with the meals and dining service, that she really enjoys. They have a very nice activities director there that does a great job keeping the folks busy, our loved one has now kind of became her right hand man. The value for cost is about average compared to other places we checked out.

It is a great community, probably better for people that are healthy. The food isn't enjoyed by my loved one as much as it could be. There is good variety of food available. The staff have been very friendly to work with.

I chose Bentley Commons mostly due to the location. My apartment size is good for what I need, but they do have options of different sizes as well. I have found that the food is very hit or miss. I do think the facility itself needs some updating but I would recommend them to others who are looking.

The activity selections were nice and it was awesome to know that there was an exercise physiologist on staff. My mom felt it seemed more like assistive living vs independent living when she walked in. This facility has both assistive and independent living however assistive living is on the first floor (for safety) but was the most visible. Having this mix did have other benefits such as access to medical services. Staff were super I e a d invited us back to try some activities or a meal.

Overall the community seems to be good and is very neat and clean. The staff is very friendly and kind. I would like to see better communication between the staff and our family. I would recommend this community to others.
