The director, [name removed], was very engaging and very forthcoming with with advice on making our decision. The facility was very clean however, the individual rooms were quite small but the bathrooms were very big. Decisions yet to be made.

We chose this facility at the time because it was impressive on the first walk through, we were told many things that did not transpire. I have talked to others who have loved ones here and they have encountered the same thing. I think the marketing person tells people what they want to here. The separate house that my loved one is in is absolutely fabulous, but each houses stories are different.

Very informative tour the facility appears to be well maintained. I have a problem with he double occupancy of having to pass thru another residences space to ge to the back room. I am also looking at the Retreat facilities. Contacting Social /Services to begin the process for Medicaid supplement. Thanks for your time I will let you know my desires in a week or two.

We have done outdoor visits with our loved one, and the staff members we have encountered so far has been great. Unfortunately we have just not been able to go inside the community yet and really get to experience everything they have to offer.

Prior to covid we were told they would have a wide variety of activities for the residents to participate in, but because of covid our loved one has not been able to experience any of those yet.

It's a good facility, but like most, it has a few issues. The carpet was dirty and needed to be replaced because it had a urine smell. The room size was adequate and the food was adequate but they did have a good variety. I would recommend this community to others.

Some of the staff members are absolutely amazing, and some are difficult. The activities are pretty good, they do keep our loved one busy, and help keep her in a routine. Some care givers really tune into what she needs and likes, for example she enjoys keeping busy with chores, so they will have her wipe down the tables and set the tables herself.

From our understanding this community is kept pretty clean, however we have not been able to visit in awhile due to COVID. Our first impression of this community was we thought it was a beautiful facility, and they let our loved one bring her dog with her. The rooms are very nice, she has a little apartment with a walk in closer, bedroom, and kitchenette and a nice spacious living room. The food has been a disappointment to our loved one, the flavor and presentation is not up to her liking.

The staff is phenomenal. The quality of care is wonderful. It is a really clean place. They have food choices that are adequate. The room sizes are good. They have beautiful outdoor spaces for residents to use.

Nice property and very nice and helpful staff. Great amenities. A little far away for us but still a contender since they will move my mom.

Small facility. Located with some natural views rather than just businesses. Older. The rooms seemed a bit darker than we would like. The array of services and family like setting is very nice.

Because Garnett Place is much older, it doesn't show as well as others in the area. However, I've spoken to several residents who seem to like it very much.

The facility was clean and the director indicated that there was a lot of interaction between the memory care and assisted living areas with activities. There were several residents walking around or using wheelchairs in the halls and the director greeted them and knew them all by name. The level of security seemed good, but we would need to understand that a bit more. They only had 2 rooms available at the time of the tour. We were there in the evening so there wasn't much activity to observe. I don't completely understand the pricing. There is a flat fee and then a daily fee based on the level of care that is needed, but I couldn't get a good understanding for how much the daily fee could be or what the range would be.

Very nice! Clean and Neat! Staff was very Congeneal, and Facility was up-to-date. The apartments were very tiny,and there was no storage, or room for storage. The meal plan was simple. Living quarters size was a real problem!

I was trying to find a place for my wife that offered memory care and there really aren’t that many in the area. After looking at several different places, we thought this place would be the best fit. My wife is here currently and so far we’re happy. The staff is pretty good and we’re content with the care that she’s receiving. They do very well with the meals and the facility stays pretty clean; overall, things look good. They have quite a large variety of activities that you can do. The value is pretty good considering the amount that we pay. She hasn’t been there long, but based on what we’ve experienced so far I would recommend them.

My family has been very pleased with the very helpful staff at Sunset Park Place. The process of transitioning my parents from living at home to moving into Assisted Living was less stressful because the staff was so kind, caring and helpful.

My mother is a new resident. She seems to be happy and is settling in. I'm pleased that she is participating in activities. My initial impressions of Country Meadows are good, however, I would like to request more 1:1 correspondence with the management so I know how my mom is doing and if I need to be aware of anything. Because I live out of town and don't get down there as often as I'd like, updates would be helpful.

Our sister is doing very well here, she has started to socialize with some of the other residents and the community has a lot of amenities she can choose from. Her room is very nice, large and the bathroom is spacious too. She does go to the dining room and she is eating well, she tells us that the food tastes strange. This is a very nice community and we would recommend it to others to take a tour here.

We toured Artis Senior Living of Elmhurst. It is a very beautiful new community. They gave a very nice presentation of their community. The staff was very friendly. We chose another community based on our budget needs.

This is a well taken care of community. The person that took us on tour was nice. This community does sit back in a wooded area and is a little harder to get to. The community we chose is closer to family.
