[name removed] drew me in with the home like atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a new management team and everyone is open to listening to questions and ideas. The staff are great and there is always something to do. We go on outings and to different stores every week and I just love the scenic drives. It was the most affordable place in the area so the value is absolutely worth the money. I would recommend it to anyone.

The staff is skilled and really care for their residents. They have loving hearts. The whole facilities management is right there beside there workers and are always available for family with any questions or concerns. You get a feeling of one big loving family incuding residents and other family members. I feel this place was GOD sent.

I highly recommend The Retreat at Sun River for anyone who needs assisted living or memory care. When I brought my Dad to the Retreat he was in really bad shape, I wasn’t sure if the move would kill him, I did know I couldn’t leave him where he had been or he would die soon. Dad is now happy, healthy and thriving due to the great care he is receiving. Everyone from the front desk, administrative staff, kitchen, maintenance, management and most especially the folks providing medical care and activities have contributed to help Dad get where he is today. I am now able to sleep at night and not be constantly worried about Dad. Peace of mind is priceless. THANK YOU!!

The staff is very nice. They take good care of my mother in law. They always have a smile and hello how are you doing? Every time I come to visit. They have a lot of different activities during the week.

The cost of a meal for visiting family increased from [fee removed] to [fee removed] . That's overpriced for the servings. I would recommend this community to other families base on the experience I have had so far.

Water's Edge is an absolutely fantastic place! Staff are friendly people who truly care about the work they do. They are local professionals who are invested in high quality care and best needs of the residents. The executive director, thoroughly explains/clarifies things you need to know about living in an assisted living and the steps it takes along the way. It is evident when you walk in the door that effort is put into making Water's Edge a safe, welcoming place to live and to visit

5 + in all categories for the memory care unit. No experience with the assisted living side. Based on the experience we have had with The Retreat, we would highly recommend them to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

I have no problem where my mom is at. She likes it there. She's very adjusted. I think all the assisted living places are too much money to be honest with you, but that's my personal opinion. My mom does like it there. She's very happy with it. She has friends now. She doesn't have to see them if she doesn't want to. She has her own room so she has plenty of privacy her own bathroom which she loves. I told her it's like living on a ship you have to go down for meals, she never has to worry about anything else

The Retreat at SunRiver was home for my mom for several years. She was a resident in enhanced memory care before, during and after the Covid epidemic. Throughout her residency, she received comprehensive care which included activities to stimulate physical, mental and emotional growth. The entire staff was always so friendly and accommodating to our family. They helped coordinate with doctors, physical therapy, dental hygienist and an on sight beauty parlor to ensure the highest quality living environment. The Retreat at SunRiver maintains a very clean and tastefully decorated facility that feels like home. The snacks and meals served were nutritious and delicious! I highly recommend the Retreat at SunRiver for anyone looking for independent living, assisted living or enhanced memory care.

I thought Vintage Hills of Indianola was a great place. I just had a problem with one person and got it taken care of. I loved all the people but one.

I'm so thankful this place was recommended to us. They got a lift for him and got him up a few times, pureed his food for him, staff was always very attentive with him and they even kept his roommate out of the room on his last night so we could be w/ him in private. I just can't say enough about this place! I just found them very accommodating to my dad' high needs and friendly to me. Staff always seemed engaged w/ the people living there.

Amazing view of pond outside! Lots of Wild life to see. Staff are very social and get to know cares fast. Resident are welcoming and car to get to know you. Lots to do and keep busy. Lots of bird feedings

Everyone we encountered there was incredibly helpful, kind, compassionate, caring, patient, etc. My mom was there on a respite basis, and the staff was welcoming and also did all they could to help her regain her independence. It was a difficult time for her, and we all could not have been more pleased with our experience there.

The staff was so kind to me when I came in that for that first tour. And they are very good about keeping me updated with her condition. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for memory care.

Originally I placed [name removed] at Artis of Elmhurst via a place for mom over 2 years ago, which was taken over several months ago by Chapters, which lasted a few months, which was just taken over by Indigo in August. [name removed] is comfortable there and some of the caregivers that were there with Artis are still there, but there has been a lot of turnover, but I am still happy there as I feel he is getting good care. And I was not happy with Chapters, but so far so good under Indigo.

I am considering moving both of my parents from North Dakota to Mankato to be near me so I can visit them daily. Mom is in Memory Care and Dad assisted living. The individual apartments and community living areas are so cozy and homey exactly what I want for my parents.

I would strongly recommend it. We picked this community because it was small and did not have very many people. My dad has social anxiety and Alzheimer's. He needed a place, where he can't get lost, and a place that feels homey, and one with few people so he doesn't get overwhelmed. He absolutely loves it there. He was at another community for a month before that and never left his room.

Keelson was very accommodating to my sister's needs. She felt almost immediately at home and seems to have fitted in well. Keelson communicates her needs to us. I would recommend Keelson to other prospective customers.

Living at the landing is a very comfortable easy living. Staff and residents allows a stress free space.

It's a very nice place because everyone friendly.
