Fairmont was a close second for us. The only reason I didn't pick them was the smaller size of apartment, and lack of kitchen. I feel that my loved one wouldn't have liked that.

My family and loved one had a wonderful experience with Fairmont of Westlake. The community is affordable, and provides a good value for the money. The staff are friendly, and take amazing care of the residents. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

We picked this community because, of the location. They did well, with the staff relationship with my loved one. The people are the most important part of it, and how they take care of their clients. It would be great if they are able to transition to Medicaid. The staff was really great Overall, I would recommend to other families.

Given that it is a unique situation the staff have done a great job, and the hospice group has been a God send and has been unbelievable wonderful as well as the physical and occupational there. . Our loved one was truly loved by the staff .

The permanent Staff was very nice and helpful. There were a few issues with meals, quality of care and activities but I believe it was due to temporary staff on duty while permanent were on vacation. Better supervision may have been needed when temps. are working.

Based on the needs of your loved ones this would be a good place for care assistance. There are three meals a day served to the residents. Some of the activities the community offered included: music, entertainment, and more for the residents to participate in.

Attended their fall concert. Lots of activities for the residents and lots of nice employees. Food was also very good.

The staff at Fairmont on Clayton were very straight forward with us and let us know that they would not be capable of handing our loved ones needs. We were really appreciative of their honesty.

Our family had an in person tour and we had a great tour experience

My mother just turned 80, and has been living in a private room of the independent/assisted living section of Fairmont of Westlake. My mom is wheelchair bound and has early stages of Dementia and Alzheimer's . However she has found several good friends during her time here. My Mother moved in July 2021, and we have been very impressed with the consistency of the entire team here, even during a management change, Covid Waves, and juggling the daily demands of operations. My mom misses being home, but she is aware of how well she is being taken care of. My dad is able to easily visit my mother every day, and he can also eat meals with her during the lunch and dinner services if he wants. I live 400 miles away, but I can always call the staff for advice and updates on my mom and I have also had great reassurance via email & during my in person visits every 4-6 weeks. That this is the best place for my mom!

I recently toured this facility, and was very impressed. I'm looking for a place for my parent (somehow me in the future) and decided to tour. The staff appeared to be engaged with the residents, and the residents I saw seem to be happy. They have a walking club, which would be good for my dad, and an area that has birds which is very relaxing. A positive experience.

Nice Place, nice feel, great property & views. Quiet setting in a central location.

[Name removed]was WONDERFUL in showing me the beautiful facility and letting me know of all the great activities that are there. She was very patient and understood my feelings of considering this big life event change. She was very knowledgeable and resourceful.

The indoor activites is great but the outdoor activities could use improvement. It's kind of expensive but great value for one person. There is a ton of compassion and empathy. It is great care, and they give individualized attention. There is a great hygiene program. Mom's hair is always combed and she is well dressed. The staff is teriffic. She's in memory care, and has improved with walking and moving. They seem to cater to each person and what they need.

I would give them a 10 in all the categories that I gave a 5. I moved my loved one into assisted living, but she soon after moved into the memory care area. She has been happy and content ever since she moved in. I am thrilled with the facility and all of the staff members. It is expensive, however we feel that it is worth it for the quality of care that she is getting. They were just recently bought out so we are hoping the new management will work out and hope that they keep all of the current staff because we love them. They know all of the residents and their likes and dislikes. I would recommend Sunrise of Farmington Hills to others looking and already have.

This has been a really great experience. It is hard when you are in situation like this but they have made it very simple. They have activities like news groups, games just whatever your loved ones needs are they really have it all. My loved one does not do a lot of the activities but they do really encourage everyone to get engaged and always ask him to participate whether he chooses to or not.

Brighton Gardens has been awesome, we are so blessed and grateful to have found them. They have been absolutely accommodating to everything with our mother in law and she can be a tough cookie. Their communication has been wonderful especially when it comes to her medical care. They leave everything wipe open. They did a great job helping our loved one transition from independent living to assisted living and now she has settled in wonderfully.

This was a very nice community and the tour was very informative with everything that I needed to know.

I loved this community. It was amazing but it was out of my loved ones budget. The tour was wonderful residents looked happy just something that would not work out for us being on private pay.
