Fairmont of Washington Township is a warm and welcoming community. Lovely interior spaces with room for all kinds of activities. Pleasant walkable grounds that are handicap accessible. Excellent oversight by medical staff. Care is provided for each individual's needs. Delicious meals and snacks prepared and served by an attentive chef and staff. Onsite and offsite activities are provided including seasonal and holiday events for family and friends. Space is available for private family parties. Visiting musicians , choral groups, lecturers and various church groups. An animal friendly facility including a delightful house cat who visits with residents. Definitely a facility that checks all the boxes,

I give them a 5 on everything. The cost is above average but the care my dad has received is great. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend Fairmont of Farmington Hills to other families.

This has been such a wonderful place for my aunt. We looked at many places and are so happy to have found such a great fit. There are many activities for the residents that keep them engaged and involved which one of the reasons that we chose here.

We love Fairmont Senior Living of Washington Township. My sister was diagnosed with FTD (Front Temporal Dementia) in 2018. Last August we realized she needed to be placed in a Memory Care Facility. At Fairmont we were very impressed. Each resident has their own room/bath and a nice closet. The dining room is elegant, and they can choose their own meals. Occasionally they are taken to local restaurants. They have various activities, such as local musicians and singers. My sister is very happy there as she has made friends, and sometimes helps other residents.

We picked this community, because it was close to my daily travel. It saved time and everyone was very helpful. It's a clean facility and they are engaged in my moms treatment and well-being.

Mom has been here nearly 6 months. I couldn't be happier with the intended setting on Memory Care. She has adjusted well due to the hands-on care she gets. The activities are excellent also. Very pleased.

We moved Mom into the Fairmont memory care unit in March. We visit nearly every day and always are met by someone giving us the latest news on Mom's activities. All the workers are so kind and are intentional in their care for the residents. I receive updates on Mom's needs and her progress by email as well as in person. She adjusted to her new living arrangements quickly, and I credit that that to the involvement of everyone who works in the memory care unit. Our family feels so blessed to have found The Fairmont when we needed a safe, clean, loving environment for Mom!

Finding a facility that provides the best care and environment for our mother was not easy. We had to "kiss a few frogs" before we found this community. Quite frankly, despite having nice reviews, interviewing well, and seemingly having concern for the residents, the prior experiences were horrible. At Fairmont of Washington Township, the care staff and management are excellent. They are constantly engaging the residents, providing a multitude of on-campus and off-campus activities, events and entertainment, and treating them with the genuine kindness, joy and respect that you would want for your loved one. They do a fantastic job of communicating with the designated family member(s) about care needs, ideas for improvement, and just sharing fun stories about things that happen on a day-to-day basis. They are good people, and it shows in the care that they provide. Our mother is so happy and, even with the realities of dimentia, she has improved tremendously under their care.

My dad has lived at Fairmont Senior Living since October of 2018 and recently moved to their Memory Care. Fairmont is a wonderful facility with a staff that treats their residents like family, is clean, friendly, knows what they are doing, respectful and has a terrific activities program. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an assisted living facility or memory care for their loved one.

My dad has been living at Fairmont for a year now and he loves it there. Everyone is so caring and have become family to our whole family. He started in assisted and now is in memory care. The thing my dad loved the most while living in assisted was the fact that he could have wine at his meals and the meal selection. The whole place is like a hotel and you are waited on just like that. It is a wonderful place to live.

I've already recommended the community to others, and will continue to. Everyone was friendly and caring. [name removed] was wonderful to work with. They provided meals and activities for the residents.

I have had the honor of working with Fairmont senior living of Washington Township and I must say they are the best in the industry. When you enter the facility you feel like you are visiting family. The staff not only cares about the residents, but they go above and beyond to show them love, respect and a quality of life that can not be matched. The facility has been beautifully remodeled and updated within the year. This facility is truly special and the staff beams with pride.

The Fairmont is a wonderful place for seniors. My mother in law is there and she is treated so well. The staff is very caring, professional and friendly. The activities director is wonderful. She always has a special activity for the residents and the holidays are even more special! The facility is always clean and bright. The kitchen manager plans delicious healthy food. I highly recommend The Fairmont for loved ones.

Staff is alway kind and helpful when I am visiting. They seem to actually know and care about mom, sharing stories, getting her to smile. Most importantly, Mom says she likes it there. Staff always quick to share updates and suggestions to better serve mom’s needs.

My grandma has lived in the assisted living community for a few years and we’ve been so pleased with the care she’s received. The staff is always kind and friendly and address her by name and make sure she’s well taken care of and comfortable. The building is always clean and tidy. The meals look incredible and you can tell the nutrition services staff cares about the quality of the food they prepare. The residents are always involved in fun and engaging activities, whether they be in assisted living or memory care. My favorite is going there for holiday parties with my grandma- like when the residents pass out candy for Halloween, the delicious thanksgiving dinner and Christmas gatherings. We’ve been so happy knowing our grandma is cared for so well at Fairmont!

The resident care is excellent. The nursing care is outstanding. Very warm and family-oriented environment. There have been recent remodeling on all three floors creating a warm and welcoming environment. We feel good that mom is in an environment of caring people and that she receives excellent care when needed.

My mom has really been thriving in the year she has spent at Fairmont. She really appreciates the nuturing care of EVERYONE on the staff -- the aides, the folks who work in the business office, and the kitchen and front desk staff. Fairmont has recently gone through significant remodeling of the dining room and shared spaces, and the building looks beautiful and modern. Mom enjoys sharing meals with her friends, and is forming great friendships with other residents and with the Fairmont associates who take care of her every day. I very much enjoy visiting Mom at Fairmont, and always feel welcome when I walk through the door. I've also been very fortunate to be included in special holiday events that the staff plans for residents and their families. Thanksgiving, Easter, and other family events at Fairmont have been lovely. We are very grateful for everything the Fairmont team does to take care of my mom.

We toured a dozen assisted living places in the Kettering/Centerville area and Fairmont was, by far, our first choice. Clean, friendly, supportive are just three adjectives to describe it. We had never dealt with these types of decisions before and they went out of their way to help us transition our Mom from a less-than-ideal situation into her beautiful new home. From the head honcho to the care team to the maintenance guy, they're all spectacular. We've never entered without everyone greeting us, we've never had a question unanswered, and when we leave, we know our loved one is getting the best care. We whole-heartedly recommend this assisted living community.

What we really like about Fairmont of Washington Township is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Response of the staff. Answering questions I have. Adjusting to my sister's abnormal daytime/nighttime and eating habits. Based on the experience we have had so far we would definitely recommend this community to other families.
