Stopped in here with no appointment, welcomed with a wonderful tour, liked the services there. Taking her family from out of town there soon when they can get here as I really want them to see this. Just hoping they don't wait too long as rooms go fast I think.

Everything is going really well and my mom likes being here a lot. She likes the food and the people the most. The food is really good and the menus have a pretty good variety, including all different kinds of foods for people with food allergies, some things are gluten free, and they even have vegan food. The staff seems to like their job and they seem happy. The facility is kept very clean and housekeeping comes by every 2 weeks to change the sheets and make the bed and then clean the rest of the apartment, which has a full sized kitchen. They have tons of activities like exercise classes, bingo, scrabble, mah jong, concerts, movies, news, current events every morning at 9, and they even have a book group. 3 or 4 days a week they have live music at the bar in the dining room, too. For the price you pay, you get 2 meals a day and you can get them at any time, and you get pretty much everything (cleaning, cable, food, etc.) but the internet and a landline are extra (if you want that). I would even live here!

We were very impressed with this community and the staff did a fantastic job showing us around. We were sure this community was going to be the right fit for my grandmother in the assisted living. As it turned out she really didn't need the extra care just yet so we have moved them to the top of our list for when that time does come. I would highly recommend scheduling a tour so that you can see this community first hand.

Mom is happy living at Sunrise. They try to keep the care managers consistent so the residents get to know them. The director is responsive and tries to make the community comfortable. Mom has started to participate in the exercise class and they have current event discussions. The food is great and they have a jukebox in the dining room. The community is lovely and they have numerous conservation areas. They have a concierge when you walk in and the community is very welcoming.

The staff here are very accommodating, caring and friendly. My dad is settling in well, he is taking part in the activities and enjoys going to the dining area with the other residents The community is very nice, the grounds are beautiful and there's a nice porch area for the residents to sit and visit. Plus they are Pet-friendly. I would definitely recommend a tour of this community.

Very nice facility. Good lighting, clean, attractive and very pleasant staff. Outings planned by a very nice young staff member who was enthused by her job. I was impressed.

We thought we had to place my father into a nursing home until we called A Place for mom and they directed us to Brighton Gardens. I really thought my dad would be entering hospice soon, but he has made great progress at this facility. He is at the highest level of care, but they are doing a great job. The staff has been very accommodating through some rough patches. If he would have been transferred to a local nursing home instead of Brighton Gardens, I'm confident he would not be as happy or motivated to work to get back on his feet. He has many visitors and all have commented on how impressed they were with Brighton Gardens.

We toured this community for care. We did not want a community where she would be on the second floor. The menu was very appealing and they had a nice variety of activities for the residents. We would recommend that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

Everything is working out pretty well for my father with his move to this community. It is a nice facility, and I'am comfortable with his move here. He has settled in very nicely. They have a good staff, and they are taking good care of him, and his needs. When I come to visit the community, and his room are nice, and clean. They do a good job with the cleanliness. There are nice activities available, and the meals are very good. So far everything has worked out well for us in this community, and I would recommend it.

My friend's stay at the Montecito is going well. I am very glad I chose this place instead of any of the others I visited. I found the staff to be warm and friendly and quite accessible, and the grounds are nicely maintained. Many amenities and services are available, and the residents seem to be quite happy living there, and try to make new residents feel welcome.

We did tour this community. We did like the staff who were friendly. This is a clean community. The list of the meals is healthy and appealing. They do offer a variety of activities for the residents for care. We would suggest that families tour this community for this care of family member. This is an outstanding community with great care.

Knowing that my mom and step dad are safe and well taken care of gives me peace of mind, should anything come up with either one I'm called ASAP.

They have worked wonders and bent over backwards for us. She had the flu and they walked her dog when she was ill. They typically only allow one pet per resident but she was able to bring her cat and dog.The people here are kind and compassionate.Anything that has come up, which have been small issues they have been quick to resolve. We chose Sunrise because when you walk in it is so open. There's always staff members by the entry and everything is very accessible to her from her room.The environment is very homey and we are pleased.

The staff at this community are helpful and friendly. They offer daily activities. Mom likes the food. We did have an issue with some of her medication, however they are taking the proper steps to correct this issue. The community is clean and I would recommend it.

When I had my tour I felt they were real good at showing me around the place. They were attentive and prepared for us to come see the community. But i thought this was too far for us, it would not be close enough.

When i had the tour with the community I thought it was really nice but it was to high priced for my mom. The tour was well prepared and go the attention we needed, they did a real good job.

My mom had a temporary stay at Brighton House. I must say we are very impressed with the staff and the level of her care. The facility was clean and pleasant. I can't say enough good things. If my mom ever needs a temporary or unfortunate situation were she'd have to stay away from home permanently this is definitely a place we would consider. It seems like she was always kept busy and that she was happy to be there.

I really can't say enough good things about Sunrise of North Farmington Hills. I recently had to change my mom's living situation, after an accident where she could no longer be in her home of 40+ years. This is a tough transition for everyone, but they helped both my mom and me transition into her new space with grace and kindness. The level of professionalism and care has been outstanding. The place is clean and bright - and works to address all residents needs. There are daily actives and a range of options that allows for all interests. I have to send a big thank you to Sunrise for being there at a such a critical time and making my mom's future one that is not only safe but will allow her to continue to thrive.
