Lots of turnover while there. Most were nice. Maintenance guy very helpful. Got better care from hospice than most staff. Some were good. Other families in memory care were great because they looked out for each other's family members.

The food is terrible. They can improve by being more responsive, when patients press the alert necklace.

The overall experience was ok, but we would use the facility again. The cleanliness of the facility was originally not good, but it improved over time. The quality of care improved over time The meals and dining are average, with low variety, For the activities, they worked to engage residents in fun activities, For value, they had the most competitive cost among the three or four that we evaluated.

1. The activities for memory care is non existence between floors. Not consistent, therefore one floor plans actions and the second floor is dead silent. It was explained that they will combine the two floors for activities to stimulate the mind. The fifth floor has nothing and is perpetually dead silent. They are completely isolated and has resulted in my dad staying in bed. They even eat on that floor. Isolation is not good. 2. I only had three instances where my dad was not cleaned adequately, but overall it has been adequate. They have been responsive to calls for care. They do have some good caregivers who go the extra mile to ensure that he is taken care off. 3. They sent out a rating within first month when you don’t have enough data; therefore, to get a discount, you had to answer. I did not due to what I was witnessing with activities. 4. Food average. Not consistent with providing weekly menus. Some events were nice, but can be better

Memory care staff depends on who is working to get good care. Make sure you visit them often. As far as the food goes, Memory care never got what the regular facility received. I would only recommend them if you can check on your loved one frequently.

There is not much to like if you have to live in a place like that. They have made some friends but they are always bored. The biggest complaint is the food.

There was a change in leadership staff soon after we arrived. Unfortunately It was not a positive change. Short staffing, grumbling staff. But they were always very kind to Dad. The blindness was something they could not accommodate even though they claimed they could. If he was not blind, I am sure my scores would have been better.

I would say after being there over a year and promises of improvement which never happened I would be hesitant to recommend to others. Staffing turnover and personal care issues did not go away temporary agency people that were brought in to cover the gaps in care seem not to be experienced in elder care, nor did they have the bedside manner for it. food was subpar and menus did not make sense for elderly people. I believe there were a total of three EOO changes in the short time we were there. Overall, while there seem to be an effort for improving things it just never really happened.

We were told on our initial interview my mom would be checked on every 2 hrs. That was not true. Also she was to be started on medication, which was only vitamins for her eyes but I gave the vitamins and script to the assistant to the wellness director and she never received the pills until my brother inquired about them. They told him they thought she was a self mediator? The staff is very friendly and my mom loves it there. She loves the staff and they are quick to answer when she calls them. She likes the food. I have never eaten there. I would recommend the facility to others BUT I would caution families to keep a close eye on their loved ones care to make sure all is well and going according to plan. The move did not go as well as expected, but that was not the facility's fault. We did not get moved in until 9 or 10pm and there was an employee to meet us as promised.

The community is for residents in the later stages of Alzheimer's. I picked it for that reason and they had immediate availability.

Not enough staff. Good person fired not warranted. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would possible recommend The Pines of Mt. Lebanon community to other families.

Initially. Not really happy with the facility and staff. Have seen good improvement in the last 6 months. Some turnover has occurred for the better.

My loved one is currently a resident at Chestnut Ridge Wallingford. Some of the staff are absolutely great, some are lazy. The housekeeping is fantastic. The move in process was easy, but communication of what was needed was not great. I would suggest giving the family a list of what is needed for the resident. This facility, compared to other places, is good. I would recommend Chestnut Ridge Wallingford to family and friends.

We toured with Glen Mills and did not like the facility because it looked and smelled like a typical nursing home. That was the main reason for not choosing them.

They were always available but not helpful. We picked this community because they were available, and offered respite care. The people were very nice, but they were understaffed. The maintenace guy was out, so it was challenging when things needed to get done. My loved one did not receive medication for several days, and did not always get a weekly shower. It was a very nice place, and was homey. They were very accommodating.

Only speaking for experience on the memory care side of things - its a nice community but on the memory care side I do think the cleanliness could be improved as well as activities. We aren't there all the time so we do not see everything that goes on, but when you walk in on the assisted living side its very clean and gorgeous and it looks like there are plenty of activities, and then its somewhat the opposite on the memory care side.

Overall this has been an okay experience for us. There are some issues; however, this might be because they are short staffed. This is a nice community. The staff are friendly. It would be nice to see more experienced caregivers available and caregivers who like cats and dogs. The community allows pets for the residents as well. There have been times that I have asked for staff to check on my loved one, and none of the staff did this. I took it up with management and there is no follow through on this.

It's a nice place and the fees are more reasonable than other. There was a staff member who was very rude, and loud, towards my spouse. They need to improve on their staffing.

They are extremely understaff, and overprice for what they can offer at this point with the staffing they do have, however the staff that are present and there are trying very hard to do the best they can.

We picked this community because it was available. A few things that they need to improve on is, they need to provide more personal service and communication with the tenants, and being able to get in touch by phone with someone there would be nice. Also, the wellness center seems to be the part that is lacking . In addition, cleaning and bed changing absolutely needs to be done weekly.
