The community cut out a lot of the services they offered due to covid but then raised the price. They don't offer outside pharmacy services. Communication was good between the staff and our family but do not have a nurse on staff after 5 pm. I would recommend this community for an independent love one.

We chose Chestnut Ridge because of the value for the money and the woman who we worked with won us over. She was fabulous and let us come in for the afternoon and we were able to walk through and have lunch. It is a very clean facility and staff members are friendly. It is great quality for the price. The activities director is spectacular in getting our loved one to participate in things. I would recommend to others looking.

The community feels more like a home than an institution. The communication is very good between the staff and the families. They have a Facebook page and they call with any issues. I would recommend this community to others

The community is good but make sure your dr and the nursing staff are on the same page and make sure the medication your loved is on is all set up with the facility. They have had a great covid plan and kept the residence safe I would recommend this facility to others.

My wife’s experience here is better than the previous 2 that she has been in. She has Alzheimer’s and lives in the memory section. She has ability to see the water in Presque Island Bay to watch the boats, ducks, geese and sea gulls. The food is well above average and the care is excellent.

This is a very nice place. Everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The only thing I didn't like were the room sizes

Excellent dining room; windows on 3 sides Front porch off to the side of parking. Views set down from the road, so ur not looking at Balt. Like 5% military discount

[name removed] was very friendly & confident. This place is close to home & the community is small which we like. The studio apt was spacious. My husband was uncomfortable as dad is physically fit & almost all the residents we saw used walkers, canes or wheelchairs. They offer the PT room for exercise & would also work out transportation, along with Rover, to try to get dad to his daily Y workout.

I took a brief tour here. The facility was a little on the small side, but it was nice. There were more residents than we would’ve liked, however, so we wound up not moving her in. However, the Director was very nice and I really liked him. The inside of the building was bright and cheery and the cleanliness seemed fine. They offered more of a home cooking style, nothing fancy, and they seemed to keep things simple. It had a very cozy atmosphere so it didn’t feel so much like an institution, it just wasn’t the right fit for my Mom’s needs.

Mom seems to like the food and activities this community offers. The community is clean and the grounds are well maintained. They have a nice front porch. I would recommend this community.

This was was a nice community and the staff doing the tour did a very good job, they took their time showing me around and the answered my questions. There were a lot of amenities offered for the residents and the rooms seemed a little small and I was concerned about the barren hallways and the fact that my mother might become confused in trying to find her room. I did not feel that this community was going to be the best fit for my mother.

This home care agency is working out well for my husband, and his needs. He is stable, and I'am pleased with the services he has received. We have a wonderful care giver, and she has been very helpful with everything. She is a good fit for my husband, and his needs. The agency has been easy to work with, and always return my calls. We are pleased with this home care agency, and I would recommend it.

I have no complaints of how things went for my loved one and i during our tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them. They even invited us to try one there lunches with them and it was excellent food. Overall great experience it was just not the right fit for my mom in the end decision.

I am very grateful for the care and attention given to my husband. He passed recently, and everyone at Magnolias was especially kind to him and me.

My father is doing well here at this community. So far everything is working out well, and I'am pleased. They have a good staff here, so I know he is in good hands. The community is very well maintained. All is well so far, and I would recommend this community.

My loved one is still adjusting to living at Sunrise. She is getting decent care. The staff are accommodating. They do have a high number of residents with Dementia so she does not feel she is able to make a lot of friends here. They offer daily activities and the food is pretty good. The community is beautiful. She has a nice apartment.

I really did like the tour that I took of this community. The community was clean and neat. The only thing that I did not care for was that there was not enough staff for the residents. That made me feel like my loved one would not get proper care. I did like that the dementia unit was small.

Our experience with Candle Light Cove has been a positive one, overall! The staff here has been friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, and they respond quickly when we contact them with any questions or requests. They also treat Mom very well, she often comments on how nice they are to her!

The staff was very attentive during my tour. They helped answer all of my questions and concerns. The atmosphere was very positive. I was able to see some interaction between the residents and the staff during some activities. The community was neat and organized.
